Again, not that he minded. He was rather enjoying the attention, after all. It wasn't often that he was treated this way. Mostly because he hadn't been given the opportunity and he had never really thought much about it. It would be hard not to think about now though, what with how nice it felt.
He couldn't help but muse over how it'd feel if he could feel real emotions.
He didn't think it would really change much. It would probably only make him attached in some way and that wouldn't be a good idea. He was attached enough to certain people without having a heart that feels. Then again, if he really could feel things, he probably wouldn't be attached to the people he was because there'd be more to it than appearance. There'd be factors like actually enjoying someones company and actually finding things funny. Lots of other things too. All things that he simulated to the best of his abilities, based off what he remembered liking before he became a Heartless.
So, in the end, this might not feel any different if his heart wasn't black with the darkness.
His shoulders relaxed almost completely as Skell's hands moved down his next to massage them. He had figured she'd stop simply because she had cleaned him up. Maybe even because of his own comments. So it was a bit surprising, albeit quite nicely surprising, that she kept on massaging his shoulders.
He let another chuckle slip from his lips again. "Try and hurt me if you want~" The smirk that formed on his lips showed how entertained he was. And it showed off just how comfortable he truly was. "I'm quite comfortable actually."
He allowed himself to be pushed away from her, a somewhat blank look coming over his face as he turned around. He could hear her step into the water, his ears twitched at the splashing the water made against the tub. Not big splashes, of course, but he could still hear it. His ears were sensitive after all. He didn't fight it when he was pulled back and he tilted his head back to look up at the woman when she spoke to him again.
"Oh, I can think of plenty you could do for me." His smirk, which verged on the brink of a grin this time, came back in full force. It showed of his pointy pearly whites and it let a provocative tone slip into his words.
This was turning out to be even more entertaining than he could have hoped it to be. It was certainly keeping his attention. Such a curious young lady he had stumbled upon. | i tried so hard, in spite of the WAY YOU WERE MOCKING ME, ACTING LIKE I WAS PART OF YOUR PROPERTY 480 WORDS skell TAGS ... Oh, he was pushing her buttons. Or trying to, at least. She couldn't help but smile at the obvious hint of flirtation that crossed his tongue. But, then again, guess she was flirting with him as well.
Hah, she guessed? She totally was. It's been a while since she last found herself in the mood for such shenanigans. Really, Aki should be flattered...
"Oh, you want me to hurt you?" she leaned down, her face hovering by the side of his head, her curls falling over his shoulder and barely dangling above the tops of the bubbles. Her fingers dug into his shoulders more harshly, her nails even choosing to dig in on the occasion. "Is that a secret fetish of yours or something?" a soft, warm laugh escaped her lips for but a second.
It wasn't until he looked back up at her and flashed those glorious, pointy teeth that she felt her cheeks flush again, and a heat swell up her spine. Teeth. That was something that got her. She didn't know why, but they did. Second to eyes, she thought that teeth were positively captivating in the right setting. And this... this was definitely a certain "right" situation.
But, she was genuinely intrigued at his last statement. She liked being a good host, something her family instilled in her as she grew up. It was important to have your door open to guests and to treat them with kindness and respect. All within reason, of course.
His ears, as large as they were, perked up easily for her her words to tickle at without her trying too hard, nor leaning over too much.
"Wanna run some of these ideas by me? Tell me... how can I make you enjoy your stay more? Or, show me, if that's easier."
She wasn't quite sure why she said that the way she did, nor why she said that at all. Perhaps because he was part canine, she thought certain things would just be easier to show in an action rather than to speak. Skell was genuinely curious as to what she could do for the man sitting in front of her. It was an odd curiosity, probably a dangerous one, but a bit of it was bolstered from the idea of facing a challenge.
"Don't hesitate. I won't judge."

A hiss that didn't really fit a dog to well when you thought about it. Hissing was more a cat thing. But hissing in pain was a typical human response to pain in general, so while it didn't fit one side of him it fit the other just fine. Yelping or howling would have been too strange and he only thought about those options after the hiss had passed between his teeth.
Despite the generally pained expression, a small grin was on his lips. The grin may have given away that it didn't really hurt. Or perhaps it balanced out his reaction to say that it hurt but not too much? "Not much of a secret now, is it?" He didn't actually have too many secrets. He'd probably say he didn't have any, actually, simply because none would come to mind.
He couldn't really claim to like or dislike pain, since it took a lot to actually inflict it upon him. He was a Heartless after all. His body didn't really feel pain. To a certain point at least.
He hadn't come across any real pain since becoming a Heartless at least.
He had felt tingles and such that would have been painful to normal humans but they were nothing to him. Being generally immortal does that to you. Not that he was immortal or anything like that. He could be killed. He just didn't die from things quite as easily as humans. It took a lot more to kill a Heartless. Like a Keyblade.
He was pulled from his thoughts and thrown for a little loop when she asked to hear some of his ideas. He hadn't been expecting that, not at all. And if any of his 'ideas' had been of the appropriate sort he might have answered immediately. But his ideas weren't very appropriate. Depending on how you looked at them anyway. For the current situation they were pretty good ideas. The ideas themselves just weren't very... clean.
He wasn't really worried about her judging his ideas. It was her fault he thought of them to begin with. If she had left the room after finding him there he would have been out and dressed my now.
"You could start by coming on in," he paused and grinned a small grin up at her, "I won't bite." He wasn't being serious at all, that much was obvious in the way he said the words. The first bit, not the bitting part. Of course, if he was provoked he would bite but he wouldn't bite for the heck of it. His hiss did an odd thing to her senses. She didn't like inflicting pain on people when she was in battle -- if anything, she liked to distract or subdue them without the harm. It was her heart that drove that, but she knew it was required in certain situations. And in other situations, outside of battle, it was perfectly acceptable if the pain was... well... wanted.
And in this case, he had asked for it. Although she knew it must have been a dramatization, because her nails weren't digging too hard, nor dragging that roughly.
Yet a smile widened on her face as he admitted to the fetish he had, however light it may have been. On second thought, he may have been over-exaggerating just to get that point across, to encourage her for more. She was going to put a halt on traveling further into that realm of things, though. She was sure it could get messy real fast.
Not that they weren't in a more than iffy situation. Now that she thought about it, she couldn't believe she was letting some nude stranger rest in between her legs like this.
Her head tilted at him, inquisitively, disbelievingly, intriguingly, when he proposed she join his side in the water. At first she was at a loss for words -- what a hefty request. She wasn't much a fan of wanting to get her slip wet, and as much as she needed to wash herself off she wasn't so sure it'd be wise to do so with this guy with her.
Scratch that. She was absolutely sure it'd be bad.
But yet, he had a way with words. Perhaps it was his tone that kept bringing her back to responding to him. Digging her fingertips into his shoulder blades again in a deepening massage, she shifted her eyes.
"Biting 's'not so bad... And I'm already in here with you. What do you call this?" and with some effort, Skell lifted one leg that was submerged from a little more than the shin down, bubbles sticking to her skin as she stretched it up before putting it back down. She shifted on the ledge and fixed the positioning of her slip, just catching that it had rode up quite a bit on her thighs, "You'd have to make me join you, hah~"
A warm laugh tickled at his ear. A part of her was serious about the challenge. Another part of her wanted to see if some sort of animalistic bit of him took over. But he seemed very much the lazy sort, and of the receiving type, so she wasn't expecting much more than maybe a shrug.

Out of his peripheral he saw her lifter her leg from the water and then put it make down. Making her point of already being in the bath. It was valid. He'd admit that. Still, it hadn't been what he'd meant and he was pretty sure she knew that. Not that he had actually wanted her to join him inside of the tub. It had been a rouse to go along with he previous comments. That's all.
But then she turned it into a challenge.
And he fixed a little pout on his face. Not a horribly noticeable one, just a small one that would make his slightly pouty tone stand out a little bit. "Ah, that's too bad." And then he let a darker look take over, pout turning into a smirk and his eyes darkening. "But if you'd rather I get rough..."
He didn't have any qualms about getting a bit rough. Some women seemed to like that. He just didn't particularly care for it. It entertained him now and then when he was feeling a bit more dominate, rather than being mostly indifferent. Yeah, submissive was the general way to describe him when he was around men. If he liked them at all anyway. He sort of hung in the middle with women most of the time.
Right now he wasn't really feeling in a dominate sort of mood. He was more in the mood for simply pulling chains or kicking back.
Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't going to pretend he was in a more dangerous mood. Skell's expressions thus far had been entertaining so why not try for some more. That is, without him really needing to get rough. He could easily get her in the tub, he was sure. But what was the fun in that? Besides, he had come to this place to get away from things and unless she actually wanted to get in he wasn't going to force her. It just wasn't him. Right now.
He could always shift over to human form.
There was no guarantee she'd be alive after that though. Despite being farthest away from his inner animal when in his human form, he acted a lot more animalistic. Maybe it had something to do with being in his human form when he was turned into a Heartless. That would explain why his human form caused him to lose control of all his bearing and devour heart after heart until he managed to gain just enough control so that he could shift.
No, it was definitely best not to go full human on the poor girl. | i tried so hard, in spite of the WAY YOU WERE MOCKING ME, ACTING LIKE I WAS PART OF YOUR PROPERTY 460 WORDS skell TAGS ... She noticed his hardened look, his eyes having a different tint of... something in them. It made her eyes widen, as though he stunned her momentarily with that stare. And those words...
A smirk crossed her face again, her eyes narrowing in a suggestive manner as she observed every detail to his face. She leaned in closer to his ear, and she had a strong urge to nuzzle him for whatever reason. Call it his wolf ears and tail between them having some sort of an influence on her, but something was overcoming her. But yet, she didn't nuzzle him, as that would have showed a hint of weakness to where she stood in the current situation.
Or, where she sat.
"Hmhmm... too bad, yes, I suppose... and, ah~" she gave a small sigh, taking the time to calculate her words carefully. Her breath hit against his ear as she did so, her fingers running along his collarbone before returning to his shoulders to knead his muscles, "Aren't you getting a little personal, now. It's a wonder why I'm still here talking to you. You are still just a stranger, after all..." another pause, a hand running nails up to scratch along his neck before hitting a spot behind the ear her face wasn't by, "But maybe that just adds to the fun... well, what do you think~?
"There's something different about you, Aki..." her voice was low, soft. There really was something different about him that had nothing to do with his shapeshifting ability. Something that intrigued her. She didn't yet know he was a Heartless, but maybe she'd stumble upon it during conversation later. Maybe as she sat down with him over a meal. But shhh...
"Something... something..."
And then something completely otherworldly overcame her, completely aside from her inquisitive thoughts on what was so interesting about him. It most likely came from the excitement of an appealing other of the opposite sex just popping up into her life in such a questioning way. He was a stranger, perhaps she would never see him again. The moment after she did it, a pang of excitement yet danger crossed her mind -- as though she had opened pandora's box.
Smiling against the side of his face at first, she gave a small, quick nip at his ear. It was gentle, her teeth barely grazing his fur.
This wasn't good for her.

It didn't itch or anything when air hit his fur. You could probably associate the feeling more to a tickle, actually. It didn't really tickle very much now that he was an unfeeling creature of darkness. It used to tickle quite a bit though. Sort of made him glade he didn't absolutely have to act out the way he used to react to such a thing. It would have given him the shivers back then.
Now it only made him flick his ear to git rid of the tingles that weren't really there to begin with.
Sometimes it was a pain to not really be him anymore. He tried to act the same as he used to but it was hard to do that when all you had to go by were memories. Now, memories are great to go by and all if you're trying to mimic someone elses behavior but it wasn't as simple to mimic your own. Memories are usually from your own body's point of view (unless you're having some kind of out-of-body experience) so it wasn't all that easy to pick out what sort of reaction you had to something. Especially when you could remember quite what you had felt in those moments.
He had to pull himself out of his thoughts. "Am I getting personal?" Like he tended to do, he let the question hang in the air briefly before adding on to it, "I can leave if you'd like..."
Not that he really intended to just leave.
Still, he also didn't intend on intruding if she did happen to want him to leave. He didn't really get the impression that she wanted him gone, not by any means, but his senses could have been clouded by all of the attention he had received and the steamy, bubbly water he was sitting in.
His head tilted towards Skell's hand again. He really need to get all of those automatic reactions/habits under control. What if an enemy learned that all they had to do to get him to stop fighting so much was to scratch him behind the ears? It could get him killed. Or, worse, it could allow someone else to attack the King. Oh, that would be horrible. The King wouldn't die, of course, but there's no telling what would happen to him when the enemies were gone. The blonde might even kill him for his incompetence as a guard.
... He needed to keep his mind from wondering off in random direction too.
Something different about him she said. Of course he was different. He was a shapeshifter. He was a Heartless. He worked for a blonde who was terrified of women... well, women who did anything that might mean him even the slightest bit of harm. There were probably quite a few other things that were different about him too.
He moved his head away from hers, staring at her with as perplexed a face as he could manage. "What are you doing?" The words slipped from his lips before he had time to think about them. Quiet, curious. Maybe a little bit disturbed. Not angry though.

"Oh, no no no... I don't want you to leave. Really, it's no problem at all. I'm open when I'm comfortable enough. You'll know when I'm opposed to something because I'll make it known."
And that she would. A few times in her life in Twilight Town had she got caught up in a conversation with a stranger or a new acquaintance, and there have been times when she's just not gotten the right vibes from the person to disclose information they were inquiring about. Usually it had something to do with political beliefs, or a stance on a controversial issue. And not wanting to grow a reputation of this or that, she'd choose to not disclose. It was for her own good, you know; not because she didn't like talking about the stuff. She didn't know if her confidence in someone would turn into false rumors spreading.
But she didn't get that vibe from Akira. If anything, she got that he could be a very trusting, loyal person. The thought melted off into something else as she was awoken from her trance, her lips at his ear, his voice awfully blunt.
A gasp left her as she pulled back from him, realizing what she had just done. Her cheeks were flushed with embarrassment, but before she could issue a stuttering apology, she reflected.
Didn't she want to make him uncomfortable? Or try to, at least? Well, it seemed like he may have been... or maybe slightly annoyed... confused? She wasn't entirely sure, to be honest. But was she to continue on? Was she to persist until he snarled at her?
For her best luck, and better gauge of the situation, she decided to pull a new tactic.
"Oh, I'm sorry, am I making you uncomfortable?" she lifted her hands from him, running them through her hair, "I can stop... in fact, I can just go altogether, if you like." She tried to gauge his reaction before shifting on the ledge. She'd move to go, and depending on how he reacted, she'd continue on out, or stay by his side.
But it all depended on what he preferred. She'd come back later to finish that shower of hers sometime anyway.

Her flushed cheeks made him want to grin but he was currently in a state of... perplexity?
Despite having not felt much more than a sensation that told him what had happened, he had to admit the action bothered him. Didn't humans usually bite down on a dog's ear to assert their dominance over the canine? He had never seen it first had but he had heard about it somewhere. Maybe it wasn't something that humans as a whole generally did then?
His head tilted as she pulled her hands away, though his expression didn't change otherwise. Not just yet at least.
"Uncomfortable? Who me?" His lips finally settled back into a grin and a playfulness made it's way to his voice. As Skell moved to leave, he leaned back and tilted his head as far back as he could too. He stretched his arms out along the edge of the tub. "What, leaving so soon~ And here I thought we were having a bit of fun."
He had been having a bit of fun anyway. Whether he showed it or not, he did like messing around and seeing what kind of reactions he could get out of people. And it made it more fun that she had, up to this point, played the little game as well. Unless she was still playing. Or maybe she hadn't been playing at all. A brow raised at his rejuvenated playfulness. She had made to lift her leg out of the tub, but he had leaned back such that his head rested nicely on her lap, and his arms draped across the ledge of the tub as though he was serving as a heavy blanket, keeping her there.
Yet she couldn't help but grin back at him. So he was enjoying himself. He really needed to let on just a little bit more, so that she could know how to react better to him, so that she could know what to do. In an odd way, that placed him in a very dominant position, because she's been the one working to please.
"I see you want me to stay... Fine, then." Her memory reminded her that he had requested earlier that she join him in the tub. If she were to keep up with his game, and see it go somewhere possibly more fun, and more exciting, she figured she could grant him that one request. Yes, she can be that willing. She was enjoying herself, oddly enough, anyway.
"We're having plenty of fun, no...?" she responded with a warm, low chuckle. Skell managed to wiggle free from his restriction to the ledge and kicked her legs on over to rest at the same side of his body. And then, with a beat of determination, Skell pushed herself off the ledge and forward, into the still steaming bubbly water that filled the tub. She felt her skin tingle as inch by inch of her was covered in the warmth.
Sure, she still had her slip on. She hoped that getting it excessively wet wouldn't ruin the lace trimming of it later, but she somehow doubted that it would. She made herself comfortable at one end of the tub, stretching her legs out such that they went down the length of the tub. Sinking in a little, a soft sigh breezed through her lips as a hand went up to froof up her curls subconsciously. Often did she play with her hair when she was settling in to something, or deep in contemplation. Right now was a mixture of both.
Big, dark browns flickered over to the canine's grey's, and subtly over the bit of chest that could be seen aside the bubbles. This could be fun.
"Good job... I'm in."

He was a bit surprised that she chose to sink into the water. Though, of course, he didn't show it. He did grin at her though, sharp teeth showing again. He watched her make herself comfortable, stretching out in the tub. He really hadn't expected it to be that easy. He had only told her not to leave, in a very subtle sort of way, yet here she was making herself comfy in the bubbly water.
He was pretty sure this was another first for him. He had never shared a bath before now. He had never really thought to try. He didn't spend very much time with people, save a few. Plus he hardly ever took actual baths. He usually wanted to get cleaned up as quick as possible and be done with it. Maybe that was his inner dog reminding him that he wasn't the biggest fan of water.
"So you are." He wasn't really sure were this would all go now. He didn't want to lead someone on too far. It was always fun to push someone past their comfort zone but causing them to do something they didn't really want to do wasn't his thing. He never pushed too hard. Not that she was giving off vibes of wanting to stop. If anything, she was fine with continuing the little game.
And he didn't mind that.
Still, he wasn't sure he wanted to sit around in the tub too much longer one way or the other. "Oh?" she opened a restful eye to peek over at him, his flashed teeth causing her lips to curl and cheeks to slightly blush. Just where did she think this was going? Not far, of course. Or, not too far.
She supposed because she took the initiative to step into the suds, it'd be fair if she waited on him for anything different to happen. Even though she had asked him if he had any requests of her. True, they wouldn't have even been in this situation had he not morphed out of his dog form, but she was the catalyst for everything afterward it seemed.
So, as though not to pay him much attention, she brushed up some of the soapy water and spread it along her arms, "Suppose we could have some fun..." She smiled to herself as the idea to play dumb crossed her mind, "Why, we could play charades. Or sing a song! What'd you have in mind? Mind showing me?" Despite her innocent words, her tone conveyed a hint toward her act. But her stare didn't change, and she remained to sit indifferent.
Reaching up toward nothing but air, Skell arched in a stretch that was just aching to happen. When she settled back, a fluttering sigh rolled off her tongue from the back of her throat. It was the closest to actually rolling her tongue she hoped to do. She just never got those genes.

It couldn't have been from slipping into the warm water because it was a bit to late for that. But he hadn't said or done anything. Nothing but grin at least. Had that been it? Him grinning? Why would she be blushing at that now when she hadn't done so before? Possibly because she was in the water now whereas she was sitting on the edge of the tub before. Maybe. He didn't know.
He stretched his arms out over the edge a bit before relaxing once again and dropping his head back against the tub's ledge. Maybe he would just sit here and soak for a bit longer after all. So he'd be a little wrinkled from the water. It'd go away once he was nice and dry.
And the innocent act the girl pulled decided what he'd do.
He ran his fingers through his hair before lifting his head up from the ledge again. There were just so many things he could say or do right about now. So many options to choose from. It didn't take him long to decide on a general plan of action though. He still didn't plan to try and push this too far. If he did, he might end up feeling guilty later on. Well, not actually feeling guilty...
He sat himself up completely and crawled closer to Skell, stopping only when one hand was propped on the edge of the tub next to her head and the other was pressed against the tubs bottom just beside her. And then he leaned towards her. His grin morphed into a mischievous smirk as he stopped with only centimeters between their faces.
He stayed focused on her face, taking in every little reaction she might have had.
"You sure you want me to do that?" His voice was low and it rumbled in his chest, "You might not like where it ends up." He said it like he meant it, which he kind of did, but he knew better. Her eyes had fallen to a close again, relaxing in the soothing heat of the water. Sure, it was a bit uncomfortable where her slip wasn't floating but instead clinging to her, but it was necessary. Taking it off wouldn't lead to anywhere good. Not in the least. She could always dry it off later when they finally left the tub.
It was the rolling of small waves hitting her, indicating that he had shifted significantly, that prompted her eyes to flutter open. And my was she surprised when they did. Browns were met by greys again, only within a breath of each other -- and she swear she could see the details of his iris if she paid enough attention.
But where was her attention focused at now? Why, it was anywhere but the details of his eyes. Sure, that's what widening, surprised eyes first saw, but after he stopped talking they lingered down to his lips for a split second, then to take in the position they were in. She was blushing before, but she must have bled scarlet on her cheeks. Skell knew he was a playful one, but she hadn't expected this. The proximity was very surprising to her, but probably more surprising yet was how excited she got. How her eyes didn't spark with a hint of discomfort, but of intrigue and daringness.
The low human-like growl he spoke with only enticed her more to go with the flow of things. In fact, it made her chin lift in reaction, eyes glossed over with the thought of some fun, their faces ever closer still, yet just not touching. Again, she wasn't intending for anything to go very far, nor for anything that'd make either of them uncomfortable.
And she wanted to make that point very, very clear.
"Trust me... you'll know if I have a problem with something..." a wet hand lifted from the bubbles to run up along his arm planted square against the bottom of the tub in supporting him up. It continued to run up his bicep and around the back of his shoulder, finally resting at the base of his neck where her fingers clawed. They were hinting and encouraging in their scratches. Eyes wandered down his neck and further to where his torso disappeared again due to the layer of bubbles. They wouldn't be staying much longer, truly, as that blanket was beginning to thin a little.
Not like she'd notice later one way or another. She predicted her mind would be elsewhere.
She bit her lip before her eyes locked back to his, and a flirtatious smile poked at him, "Try me~"

That was both very intriguing and a disappointment. Intriguing because it meant he could go a little further. Disappointing because he sort of wanted to see her squirm a bit. The intrigue outweighed the disappointment though, quite heavily.
A chuckle forced it's way passed his lips, rumbling in much the same way his words had. The feel of her wet hand traveling up his arm managed to make him shiver, though not visibly. He felt the chill run along his spine. He could imagine the chill bumps that should have crawled along his arm, following the trails of water left by her fingers.
He leaned just a tad closer, nuzzling his nose against hers for a second before pulling away again.
He had to wonder just how long this little game would last. The bubbles were starting to thin out and fade away so before too long the tub would be filled with only clear water once again. Not that he cared any but she might. Not only that, but he wasn't going to go much farther with this. He'd be lying if he claimed to not partake in games like this that led much further. But it wouldn't be a lie to say he didn't do that very often. It was an occasional game he played. At least were strangers were concerned.
And then came Skell's flirtatious smile and the words that followed shortly after. If he had planned to leave it at a 'Eskimo kiss' before, he certainly didn't plan to leave it that way now. And so, he did the only thing there was really left to do.
He leaned back in and pressed his lips against hers. | i tried so hard, in spite of the WAY YOU WERE MOCKING ME, ACTING LIKE I WAS PART OF YOUR PROPERTY 300 WORDS skell TAGS ...
