REASON: Despite the fact that it is a formal structure and that Puck will be subservient to others, though presumable only the King of Hearts himself, the newly forming Army of Suits seems like it will be a rather easy means at fostering disorder and chaos amongst the various worlds. And as such, Puck feels compelled to lend his skills in whatever manner he can. Now, Puck would be well suited (get it?) to two suits (it was a pun): either as the Mad Hatter of the Black Suit, in which he can use his various fay powers to deceive those he negotiates with and corrupt and poison the thoughts of adversaries, while protected by the etiquette shown to heralds and emissaries; or as a member of the suit of Diamonds, with the rank to be determined by the queen of that suit. Personally, if the choice were up to Hob, would choose to be the Mad Hatter, since he wants as little oversight on his operations as possible, would rather be looked on with respect than as a tool, and prefers subtle corruption and persuasion to wet work and reconnaissance. Such decisions, though, are not mine to be made. And of course, I also shouldn’t pretend to know all of Puck’s motives, for I truly believe that even he doesn’t know all of his motives at all times..
