Sentenza used the recoil from War pushing the blade back, and cranked the sword back to unleash another strike. War jumped back as Sentenza swung. Sentenza planted his feet into the ground and watched War's movements. "I highly doubt that." Sentenza said. "War is a thing, not a person." Sentenza looked straight at. "And war is ugly." Sentenza said. "While you, I must admit, are quite the opposite. I only choose to humor you and call you that because otherwise the name fits you." While not attracted to War by any means, he was rather taken back by her beauty. Her beauty was only matched by her ferocity and strength. When War charged to attack Sentenza once again, he spun his sword so that the flat side faced War. Sentenza placed his hand on the other flat surface and gave the sword a light push as War's sword came in to try and bounce it back. Sentenza then countered with a horizontal slash. Sentenza was starting to get worn down by War's seemingly endless stamina, though he attempted not to show it, and was at least somewhat successful. It didn't help that the would War had inflicted him was still stinging on his back, while War, at least appeared, spotless.

War brought her sword across to parry Sentenza's hit. "You've got to try harder then this. I know you mortals tire easily." She said with a chuckle as she dashed to the side.
"Apparently it is not well known on your world. I am the apocryphal War, as in of the apocalypse." War said with a sly smile. "Although your compliment is appreciated. Another time and I might have invited you back to my place to work off this exorcize. .To bad, I don't have the time, and I think I'm seeing someone."
She brought her blade up pointed directly at Sentenza. "This has dragged on long enough." She said as she brought the blade back, readying to spring forward at a moment's notice. "I suggest you make peace with whatever deity or concept you believe in. Because soon you will have to face your afterlife."
She charged forward, executing a flurry of blows, the speed of which left them at the edge of human sight. It would be hard to tell from the receiving end, but War was continuing to attack in a way that wouldn't kill. She liked this being, he just needed to get better, then he would be a perfect foe. She would make sure he got better.

Sentenza staggered back after War blocked his hit. Even now, War's physical strength surprised him. "I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not interested." Sentenza said. "You're, how they say, 'not my type.'" Sentenza wondered who was deranged enough to be seeing this woman, but he also imagined that there were all types in all worlds. "I agree, I'm getting tired of this fight." Sentenza said. "It's time to put an end to this." Sentenza braced himself for the oncoming blitz of attacks. Sentenza swung his sword to clash with the blows, though he was continually pushed back. A few cuts made through, as the speed of War's combo was incredible, and in spite of the massive size of Sentenza's sword, he couldn't block them all. Sentenza felt the warm blood running down his chest, then stood up, and responded to the series of cuts with a sword thrust to War's gut. He was injured, but he still had fight in him, that much was certain. "Are we finally done with this silly fight?" Sentenza asked, his words beguiling the gravity of his wounds. They were not fatal, as War didn't want to kill him, but they were rather grievous, even for Sentenza's enhanced durability. "If so, out of my site." Sentenza said.

War spat blood up onto Sentenza's shoulders. It had actually hurt her. She remembered true pain, she had, after all, been beheaded. This wasn't quite that bad, but it would hinder her. "I had wondered if this would be enough to kill me" She said her free hand on the wall ans Sentenza's weapon impaled her. "I had wanted to see. This isn't my first time being run through."
She pushed her self off, causing her to spit up more blood. The wound mostly healed, and the black suit had grown to cover her entire body. It was a completely black seamless tunic. However this time blood could be seen soaking into it. She had been hurt, but she was barely hindered. Just enough that she was aware of it and it intrigued her. "Not bad kid. Next time I won't go so easy on you, so you'd better train up. You have the potential to actually face me, don't waste it with your peace. The only way to beat me is to be as violent as the battlefield." She then burned the rest of the energy into repairing herself. She could manifest the form for a few hours without worry. If she ended it early, she had to use the extra energy.
A ruby light surrounded her again and dissipated quickly. She was only 6 foot again and her skin and uniform were undamaged, and clean. She opened the portal with a wave of her hand and smirked as she looked back. "Any last minute speeches hero, about how you'll win, darkness never triumphs."

"Is it really so odd for you to be injured?" Sentenza asked, almost interested in War's reactions. At this point, he wasn't surprised that she could survive being run through by a sword larger than it's wielder. Most people would have collapsed to the ground after the first strike Sentenza landed, but War took several hits that would've been devastating to most opponents. Not only did she stand up and keep attacking, but for the most part they healed. Sentenza watched War starting to leave. Sentenza himself was on the verge of collapsing from the exertion of the fight.
"I have only one thing to say to you." Sentenza said. "Even if I can't destroy you, even if I can't win, you'll destroy yourself. Violence only begets violence, and one day, it will come around and get you, you'll be engulfed in the inferno of your own fight. Then you'll see the true despair of your name sake, the pain, the hopelessness of facing so many bullets you can't count. You haven't seen that because as long as you've known, you've only won, you've only inflicted that despair. It's from two enemies gridlocked in a storm of blood and violence that the true nature of war reveals itself."

War smirked. It was impressive the naivety of this being. He was young, maybe he would be lucky and he would die before he felt the true pain. When they turn on you. When they fear you. When they are stronger then you, but still want you alive. To be so powerless where you no longer have the option of death.
Remembering all of that pain brought a frown to her face. Remembering every lose, every retreat, every injury. She had fought so long, since she was young. She fought when they came. She killed their leader after several years of abuse. She watched as their blood colored the snow. That day she promised herself she would fight and never be weak again.
How long until he learned that was false. How long until he learned that if an enemy didn't kill you, your own allies will. She looked to him with a lopsided grin. "I have lost, more then you can ever know. I know the pain and fear of war, I know the blessed agony that flows in your vien every second as you both fear for life and move forward with everything. I know that sensation well. I was a hero once. I remember what it was like." She said just before disappearing in the portal.
