"I am willing to talk to you if you have something on your mind." Sentenza said to War, before getting back to the point. "Sorry, I'm not you psychologist. Well, You will find some worlds that still have the technology you described, I'm sure. Of course, those guns have advanced into ones like I use. In terms of fire arms, the output of the shots in much hire, and the fire power can be much more devastating. I'm originally from Traverse Town, so I've seen a lot of different people with a lot of different weapons."
"A rare weapon you may encounter that will likely give you a lot of trouble is called a 'keyblade.' It's a sword shaped like a key. As ridiculous as they sound, they are extremely powerful, especially against heartless." Sentenza said. Sentenza suddenly stopped and changed the topic. "You miss it, don't you? Having a heart I mean. You must have felt a lot of pain during your life, from what you described, but it must have been better than feeling nothing, am I right?" Sentenza asked. "Again, that's how you're different from Chaos, he'll simply destroy until he no longer can. You just want to feel something."

War sharply looked off in another direction. She wouldn't be able to talk about this with Sentenza. He would just push her to do good. Did h understand what it meant to be soulless. He must have understood her discomfort because he changed the subject. She sighed lightly and looked back to him, taking another drink of the coffee.
She listened to his describe the so-called "firearms". These weapons would need further study, but it did seem to match the weapon the soldier had had. So that was what propelled the metal at her. A queer weapon, it's deadliness immediately apparent to War, but she would not need it. She was already fast enough to close on a ranged warrior before they would be able to do more then annoy her.
The Keyblade on the other hand sounded comical. However Chaos had already warned her of such. Warriors with strong hearts capable of harming any with ties to the Darkness. So then these weapons were well known. That meant the must exist in in relatively large numbers.
She looked to Sentenza with cold eyes when he changed the subject again. "That women is dead, I can not change that, as I can not change the fact that I lack a heart. Be careful Sentenza, don't forget what I am. I am not some hero who has suffered a crisis of faith and can be talked back to righteousness. I am one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I was made into this by fate. Do you know what happens to those who fight fate, they get crushed by it."

"Pardon my French, but Fate is bullshit." Sentenza replied calmly. "The idea that we all have a fate is outrageous. At what point were you forced to be a horsemen, at what point were you forced to destroy?" Sentenza decided at that point that he was from that point on calling War "Seraph.""Well, if you're destined to kill everything, then you're destined to kill me too." Sentenza said. "So do it. I live alone, I have no friends who'll mourn me. Come on, no one would even know. If you're as unstoppable as you say, and I'm supposed to be your fencing partner, you say I'm to die by the hand of what I fight anyway." Sentenza said. "So come on, summon your strength, summon your speed, change your body, either I'm destined to kill you, or you're destined to kill me, so get it over with. Kill me. Hurry. Hurry. Hurry." Sentenza said all of this with a complete serious, emotionless face. "I'm defenseless right now, aren't I? It would be so simple, it would save you trouble later on." Sentenza said, calmly sipping his tea. "Come on, Seraph, if you truly have no heart, if you're truly War, prove it. Now."

"I awoke oh so long ago after my untimely death, as War. There was no choice, there was only the simple fact that I was made to destroy." She said with a slight frown as she sipped the coffee. "A creature with a soul would feel bad for what I have done. I have killed hundreds of thousands o soldiers. I have killed thousands of women and children. I have run them through in the streets."
"More then not regretting it, I enjoyed it. Inflicting the pain that I wasn't spared on others, lessened it. To kill a child in front of it's mother, she knowing that she was next and nothing would stop that. It was rush that was truly indescribable." War said as he grip on her cup increased. "To walk away from a city, leaving it in a blaze, knowing that no life would ever prosper there again. To exercise this power so freely and openly. to not have to defend, to only need to destroy. That was my life, and I reveled in it."
Her grip finally crushed the cup, spilling it's contents everywhere. "Why do you care so much?" She asked her entire body shaking with rage and confusion. "I am just a monster, what do you know about me?" Her hand shot out towards his throat and squeezed. "Do you think I favor you? Do you think I will spare you because of this fondness? Why do you care? What does this mean?"
She pulled her hand back after releasing the pressure. "Why?" She asked as she jumped back. She bit her lip and shook her head. "Don't think this has saved you Sentenza. I just don't want to waste the potential challenge you can pose. We will have our rematch."
Despite the fact that she had just reverted to her usual demeanor her face was still flushed as her heart continued to race with the mixture of rage and confusion. She focused on steadying her breathing and smiled. "Besides if I kill you now, Chaos might get upset."

Sentenza didn't respond to War's hand at his throat then gave her a wry smile. "Then tell me, what makes me so different than one of those children?" Sentenza asked. "I have the same blood, I'll die with blood everywhere, and you'll get the satisfaction of seeing someone who refuses to shut up and thinks he knows everything bleed out on the floor. If you honestly have no choice in killing, what's stopping you from killing me now? Or are you so deluded that you think War doesn't bring death in spite of everything you say?" Sentenza's wry smile was not a momentary thing, he continued to look at War wearing the expression with a look of pity in his eyes. "Besides, if everything you say is true, Chaos will kill me someday anyways, won't he?" Sentenza asked. "I fight for tomorrow. I will fight Chaos so that the future can come, and if that is as hopeless as you say it is, I'll die, will I not?"
"I pity you. That's why I care. You live forever as little more than an empty corpse without feeling, ceaselessly trying to fill a deep void. You don't kill because you have to or because you were forced, you kill because it's a cheap thrill, and feeling even a cheep thrill is better than feeling nothing at all." Sentenza said. "I pity you because you can't pity. I pity you because I'm sixteen and understand more about life than an immortal. I pity you because of the emptiness. More than that, I pity the fact that I can apparently actually get to you." Sentenza's wry smile gained an added tone of bitterness to it. "And if I of all people, who lacks social skills, who actually tries to stay away from society for fear of harming people can get to a supposedly emotionless creature who kills and kills endlessly, then that is truly worthy of pity." Sentenza said.

"A man once felt pity for a snake in the snow." War said bitterly. "Do you know how that story ended? He held the snake to his chest to warm it up. Now the snake was a viper and when it came to it bit the man. The man asked why and the snake responded, because it is my nature."
She shook her head. "You do not know the way of the world yet Sentenza. Trust me, I was where you are once. I remember always being so hopeful and stubborn. I could take on the world if it meant saving just one person. The world doesn't work that way. The world is cruel, and malicious, and evil men rule over the good-hearted weak. I have seen this acted out so many times."
She sighed."I don't claim righteousness, nor do I defend my actions with the mounting crimes of humanity like Chaos. Nor am I like Pestilence and Death. Fate has decreed that the worlds of humanity must burn, and fate has removed my human weaknesses and the moral frailty to carry out these orders. How can I argue with that? I was turned into the perfect warrior, turned into an engine of destruction the likes of which have never been seen before. Every world has their myth of the Horsemen, and I am War."
"You see Sentenza, in the end we are just two sides of the same coin. I've lost my faith in humanity, but you still hold yours, for now. Maybe I dedicate myself to my mission because it is all I have left, but, it is all I have left. The kingdom I fought for is dust, the prince I loved, who ordered my execution, not even his bones remain. A hundred years from now, you too will be ash, and I will endure, as I am, with nothing else." She said, her voice dropping and becoming almost wistful. "If you feel pity for me, if you want to exercise that pity to something useful, find a way to stop me, take that last thing from me, and if that doesn't kill me, well even I don't know what will remain."

"Your story has truth to it. However, either this snake refuses to bite or refuses to kill, no matter the number of opportunities that I give it." Sentenza said. "I asked in fact, all this snake did was make an excuse as to why she couldn't."
"You keep telling me that this is your fate. We right our own fates, every one of us. You justify your actions, basically in that they are what they are. People aren't, and you aren't, dedicated to one life because someone told you that was your fate." Sentenza said. "So, who informed you of your fate then? Or is there some obvious piece of information here that I'm missing? Even a snake can become greater than it's so called 'nature' if all that it has to go on is a pair of fangs stuck into its mouth and nature that's been told to them."
"You have nothing . . . what a weak excuse. I wasn't born here, yet I made something here that I could care about, that I could fight for." Sentenza said. "As for your request, I'm sorry, but I can't stop you, only you can do that. Even if it's my sword that kills you, it'll only be because you let it kill you, because you gave up. Do you really want to succumb to hopelessness, or do you want to evolve beyond that?"

"You act like it is easy child." The women who was both answered. "You have not lived for years beyond your time. You have not seen the darkness take hold time after time, as I have. You have not killed so many that murder is the obvious answer to you. Have you ever had to kill someone, Sentenza, and I mean someone. The Heartless are but beasts to be put down, monsters that no one feels sorry for. No, I mean another living, breathing life, a soldier, or a thug, have you been forced to kill one? I will tell you this, it changes you, no one ever thinks it does, but it always does."
"I have seen so much horror in my life, the worst of it laid at my own feet. It's hard to see the light, it happens so rarely, but there are always monsters. The warlord who sends captured women into slavery, the soldier who grows bitter to the innocents he protects, or even the simple man, who in a drunken stupor kills an innocent life. The world is dark and ugly. I saw it continue this way for 200 years after my death. Then I sleep for so long and wake to a world that treats all that horror with indifference in favor of striking the Heartless, creatures born of that indifference." War shook her head.
"When weighed down by this much darkness, you realize that's in fact a mercy killing. They'll just burn it down anyway, I'm only saving them a few centuries of suffering. When you view every death with dispassion, that is when you have become a monster." She frowned.
Suddenly her eyes widened. She shook her head in disbelief and awe. "Well, I have seen it in such perfection. Your people have really redefined war. I'm impressed at how skilled you have become in murder."
She looked up to him, blinking away the shock. "As a Horsemen I have a cosmic tie to my nature. I have a core understanding of war, tactics, and armaments. Your information was enough to trigger an update of sorts. I wondered what war with firearms looked like. I could never have wished for such weapons of destruction. I saw one war, called World War 2, it was marvelous." Her breaths were becoming shorter as she seemed to become aroused by the thoughts. "Rebecca's world was even better at it. The things a spartan can do, I wonder if she could take me in her armor?"
She snapped back to reality, an air of seduction around her, as well as one of power, like a large cat. "You see Sentenza, your wrong about one thing. I don't live to run away from my past, I don't live to die. I live for the challenge of every fight. It's not the risk not the danger, but the chance to prove my skill. Your worlds will give me that chance."

" . . . yes. I've killed before." Sentenza responded to War. "One person. I killed one person, and even now I can here that scream, see the blood splattered everywhere. That one person I killed, that still haunts me to this day . . ." Sentenza paused, apparently having trouble bringing himself to say it. "She was my twin sister." Sentenza said. "You say I know nothing of the cruelty of the world, you told me your story, I'll tell you mine. We were children. My sister and I couldn't have been more different at the time. She was popular and typically girly, I was withdrawn. I was bullied because I was seen as an easy target. I sat through every minute of it, from the time that they made me sit in the sun till I had to be taken to the hospital due to sun poisoning to the time they punched me in the gut until I puked. Then they got bored with having no response with me and went after my sister. She had the prettiest long hair, so they cut it. I don't remember any of what happened next, only blood soaked everywhere, the bullies beaten severely, but alive, and my sister bleeding out on the ground in front of me. My hands were soaked in blood. Her blood, because she wanted to try and stop me." Sentenza's hand clenched into a tight fist, tight enough that a few drops of blood hit the floor. "She died and they lived." Sentenza said. "So don't try and tell me that I haven't seen how cruel the world can be. The fact that I'm alive testifies to how unfair the world is with every breath I take."
"You want to test your power?" Sentenza asked. "I'll test it with one question. Tell me, War, are you afraid?" Sentenza utterly ignored the air of seduction. That was not where his mind was, especially after telling War about what had happened to his sister.

"Never have." She said simply. "After you have accepted death at such a young age, you can never fear it again."
"I don't even remember fear when I was alive. I knew each time it might be my last day on earth, but never fear." War said with a shrug. "Guess I must have figured I was always living on time that I hadn't counted on. I was prepared to die that day, convinced I was to be reunited with my family. That still didn't stop me from plunging the knife into his back. What other choice did I have?"
"Then without a fear of death, you find most other fears to be trivial. Why fear snakes, what can they do to you? Why fear the dark, when you've already lived through a nightmare? I feared nothing and no-one, until the day I died. That day I was afraid I would be betrayed. I was, and since then, even that pain has long since dissipated. What is there to fear when you can't die, and even should they find a way, I still don't fear death. I've died to many times to let that hold back."

Sentenza almost chuckled, but stopped himself. "You're horribly weak then." Sentenza said. "You answered how most people think what strong is. Strong is courage, and many people think courage is a lack of fear. Courage is will to fight past your fears. Anyone who fears neither their opponents sword nor their own can't be expected to to wield that sword properly." Sentenza summoned his sword once again, creating the massive blade on the end of it. "Look at this sword. It looks like it's meant to destroy everything in it's path in a single stroke, to mangle bodies, to take lives." Sentenza said. "That terrifies me, and if it doesn't terrify you, you can't hope to win in the end."
"So I'll ask you again, are you afraid?" Sentenza asked. Sentenza sent his sword away then sat down on the floor. "You fear things like that because others do. One snake could be of no consequence to you, but what about many or even one enormous one. You should no better than I do that such things actually do exist on other worlds." Sentenza said. "There's an infinite amount of worlds, and who's to say you won't come across something that can destroy you?"

"Again your such a moralist. You must hate yourself." War answered. "Strength is will to fight, of which I always have. When you live life without restraint you are so alive. You hold yourself back for mortals, but your so much stronger then them. Don't hold yourself back, live at your maximum and you grow stronger."
She smirked. "The truth is, if you fight with fear in your heart, you could never hope to beat me. Unless you live a life without restraint, you could never be able to keep up. Then at least if you die, you say you have lived." She blushed as her mind turned to the one time she had lived without restraint in sex. "A chance to live without fear is everyone's wish. Courage is pushing past fear and continuing forward, but that's not strength."
"Because I've weathered the best man ever had. Even with your rules, I need be concerned with single individuals who I can kill in a fight. Something may kill me, but until I see this, I believe I am indestructible." She said with a serious tone. "Besides, the threat only makes it more interesting."
She brought a finger to her lip. "Well if you refer something I avoid fighting, because I know I can not win, there is one thing. One being I fear could destroy me. The one thing I could never control. Chaos is very dangerous, and he's unpredictable and always conniving. I recognize that my brother is a nobleman, like the ones who assured my own death. However there is just so much more threatening coming from him. He is composed of such utter malevolence and danger. It reminds me of the time I stared into the eyes of a poisonous snake, just that calm malevolence and utter danger." She looked down, a chill running through her. "He would be something to fear, if I still felt such an emotion."
