Her breath was labored, her body ached. The only warmth she could feel on this cold night was her own blood trickling down her body. The once fine clothes that Sophia wore were covered in rips and tears. Stained red with her own blood, the occasional smear of dirt from the Third District's plaza accompanied the scarlet fluid. It was safe to say that Sophia was not in a good place. For the past hour Sophia tangled with the giant Heartless standing before her. Normally these things were no problem, but this one was resistant to many forms of magic. Which presented a huge problem to the experienced mage.
Sophia's grip on her magic tome tightened, fearing that the holy tome was about to fall into the hands of darkness. The beast that stood before Sophia could only be described as a creature of pure horror. It's elongated body was covered in slimy thick scales. Soulless red eyes glared at the woman that stood before it. The thing slowly moved back and forth, looking for a chance to strike the mage. Each of it's six legs moving on their own accord. Large disgusting boils covered it's back, where the place where it's heart should be was nothing more then a giant hole. A large hungry grin spread on the Heartless's face, which allowed Sophia to see it's large rotting yellow teeth. Unfortunately she could smell the thing's vial breath too, which smelled like a mosh pit of rotten eggs, five year old milk, and a men's locker room.
A small little disgusted frown spread across Sophia's face. She wanted to take this thing out, but she didn't have the energy left. It simply kept going and going. Bright blue eyes desperately glanced around for an escape route. Unfortunately for Sophia her back was pressed up against the large gateway to the first district, which was once again stuck shut. The other other escape route was past the giant beast that stood in front of her. Knowing that she was about to feel a lot more pain, the woman raised her hand up in the air. She muttered a few quick peaceful words under her breath. "Protect" was the last word she muttered before her magic reacted. A spark of light appeared just an inch above Sophia's fingers. Bright white light swirled downwards, forming a small dome around the woman. For now it was the best she could do, until she could recover her strength. The rest of her energy would have to be saved, in case the creature managed to get the best of her. Sophia's large blue eyes met the Heartless's own blood shot eyes. She knew she had only so long to find a good way out of here.

Saki had come alone to Traverse Town, having lost track of her current partial master. But something else drug her here. She wasn't sure why, but she felt she had to come here. It was odd, but on Radiant Garden, she was having difficulty following Leia's orders.... but responded more to Sophia's, her previous masters. But there was no reason her and Hild could find. Saki had shut down, which should have meant she was dead. Or was the distance simply to great? Her world wasn't that big so maybe there was a certain range and after being apart for so long and probably seperated by world after world, maybe that caused the shut down. She couldn't know, it was a variable she never thought of. Then she heard a ruckus from third district.
She ran and jumped up on the top of the gate and saw a huge black heartless and then saw someone against the gate. She took a closer look and her eyes went wide. That book, those torn but unmistakable clothes, this sensation. She could also see all the blood as well from wounds, Saki's fist clenching tighter. She jumped down as she saw the heartless pull back to strike and landed in front of Sophia, her feet only moving an inch or so as she caught the strike with both hands, wearing the same maid looking outfit she always had. Though she lacked those other forms now, they were all the same Saki, and she was much stronger now. There was a bit of strain at first, but then it was obvious she was matching it since she no longer was being pushed back, her heel inches away from Sophia's shield.
"Leave my master ALONE!" Saki said, shouting at the end from a mix of frustration and effort as she tossed the heartless onto it's side. She immediately flew towards it in a step and began wailing away with punches and kicks that had the thing writhing in pain, the scales not stopping her fists. It managed to knock her against a wall and get back up, but Saki wasn't phased and grabbed the dented pipe and ripped a huge section off, but it wasn't the full round pipe but half of it that she held as a flat sword. She then charged the creature again, the jagged metal slicing through it as it attacked and Saki swung. And she came back across to make sure it was done. The large heartless vanished in a cloud of black smoke that engulfed Saki for a bit.
When the smoke cleared Saki dropped the huge hunk of metal with a loud clang like a bell before turning and seeing Sophia still there. She sprinted back to Sophia, bursting through the shield as if it weren't there as she threw her arms around her and buried her head against her shoulder crying. "It's been so long master I missed you." she managed to say, collapsing and well, dragging Sophia down with her due to her grip. She then felt something warm and wet and then realized she had some of Sophia's blood on her. She pulled her self together enough to put her hands on Sophia's mid section and start using healing magic to try and heal the wounds, but magic was still not her strongest suite.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | All the bruises, cuts, and wounds on Sophia's body were screaming out. Pleading with the woman to just give in and collapse to the ground. She wanted to listen to her body, she wanted to rest. It wasn't just her wounds that made her tired, it was the combination of the battle and breaking out of her jail. If you could even call it that. It was more like a living hell. The mage couldn't even tell how long she was in there. She knew it was years, but how long she couldn't tell. All she could say is that it felt like a millennium within her prison. But now she was free.
So a little smile spread across her face, despite all the pain. Not just for her freedom but for Saki. She was still here, she was alive. It gave Sophia hope, that maybe her friends were still alive. That she didn't loose everything and everyone she cared about. Angela, Ringo, they may all still be alive. So when Saki wrapped her arms around her, the only thing Sophia could manage to do was return the embrace. Yet even in her embrace, the woman was too terrified to let go of the All Seeing Eye. Which Sophia was unconsciously pushing into Saki's back. Her tight on the book still as tight as ever. She could never surrender it.
"I was afraid you died," Was all Sophia could manage to say, and even that was barely a whisper. The bibliophile, although knowledgeable, did not know about Saki shutting down. Or even the fact that fifty full years had elapsed since she last saw her companion. So for a little while, Sophia just wanted to savor the moment. To know that she was truly free from her prison. Even if she was just bleeding one her old companion. "But please, don't call me master. I'm not that anymore, we're just friends"

Saki looked at her as she said she was afraid Saki had died. Before saying to not cal her master. "No Sophia, you'll always be my master." Saki replied. As much as Sophia probably would have expected the answer, there was one very drastic difference. Before Sophia left that note and was gone, Saki could barely call her anything other then master, and to call her Sophia was at best a struggle. But here, she had called her Sophia without so much as a flinch or a sign of hesitation.
"But I was afraid you died Sophia." Saki said, actually doing as she was told and not calling her master. Though, it wasn't completely because of her being told to. "So much time passed since you left, that when I started to shut down ten years ago I assumed you were gone forever." Saki's eyes starting to tear up again. She reached the limit of what good her healing magic could do before wrapping her arms around Sophia and burying her head in the other woman's chest. "Please don't make me try to find a new master still." she said, crying again and her voice muffled a bit, "I tried for decades but couldn't find a master as good as you, I want Sophia to be my master, no one else."

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | Thump. Thump. Thump. Sophia's heart raced while she waited for a response from Saki. She was nervous, terrified. This was not the first time she had her reunion. Illusions were part of her prison, some of them crueler then others. Time and time again she had to face meeting her friends again. Each time it was the same, Sophia could not believe they survived. They were all there too.Angela, Ringo, Saki, even Maria & Donnie. Yet ever time it ended in tragedy. Every time Sophia collapsed to her knees in tears.
Yet when Saki spoke, some measure of comfort. Many of the illusions never talked, most of them simply silently screamed in horror. So as Saki talked, Sophia turned her eyes down to the other woman. Whom was resting her head in Sophia's bosom. The maid seemed so sad, and all Ms. Lock wanted to do was comfort her. As Saki spoke, Sophia's hug on the other woman loosened ever so slightly. One hand, void of a book, rose to Saki's head. Delicate fingers ran through the other woman's hair. Yet as much Sophia missed Saki, as much as she felt bad for abruptly leaving her before Sophia knew she could not be her master again.
"Saki... I... I just don't" Sophia struggled to speak between Saki's pause. It was not that Sophia was being cut off, it was just that she could not think of the words to say. Then she became silent, her hand stopped running through abruptly stopped. Crystal blue eyes grew wide as Saki mentioned decades. Decades? Sophia knew she was gone for a long time, yet her body was almost the same as it was before. She didn't think that it had been that long. "Decades? Saki, have I been gone?"

Saki enjoyed the feeling of Sophia running her hand through her hair. This may not have been the circumstances she wanted for it, but after so long, she was willing to take any sort of comfort or affection she was given by Sophia. She managed to get herself calmed down a bit more as Sophia struggled to say something, but Saki had no idea what. "I just don't" wasn't enough for Saki to piece together what she was referring to.
Though when the hand abruptly stopped and she asked how long she had been gone, Saki looked up at her with a look of confusion and some what hurt. She was unaware of Sophia being trapped and assumed like all the others she knew that looked young that she simply aged slow. So her not realizing it had been so long sort of hurt Saki. "It's been over 50 years Sophia." Saki replied, openly puzzled by the fact she was unaware of the passage of time. She put her head against Sophia's shoulder, more so Sophia would have trouble seeing her face at the moment.
Her only goodbye all those years ago had been a note that asked her to to do the impossible task of finding a master better than her. And now they run in to each other, and it seemed like Sophia had missed her, but how did she not know it had been so long. "We should get out of this district probably." Saki said, "I kept your old place clean and all... but my friends cleaned it when I shut down ten years ago, so they went into that room you told me not to." she added, not sure if Sophia would be mad at her that they entered. It wasn't her fault several of them could pick or magically open locks. "The last time was a couple days ago while I was busy so it's all nice and clean...but short on food." Even though shutting down should have meant the worst, Saki was nothing if not loyal and hopeful. Even with that she had hoped to see Sophia again. Though, as Saki went to move her arms went limp and the arm that had loosened it's grip wasn't enough to keep her up as she fell on her side to the ground. She winced in pain, now that she was really coming down off the adrenaline of protecting Sophia. Even for a reinforced body like Saki's the hit the heartless had landed and slamming into the pipe with the force she did was painful and did damage. Were she not what she was, she'd probably be coughing blood up or worse. "You..you can do healing magic, right?" Saki asked, feeling the pain at her midsection and lower back now. Odds were right now if she were undressed those spots wouldn't even be blue, just black from bruising.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | "Fifty... Years?" Sophia muttered. She couldn't believe it. Everyone she knew was dead, and if they still lived then they were simply in death's grip. Spending their few last years in blissful retirement before death finally took them. Her Father, Ringo, Angela. They were all gone, and with them her entire life. Even worse her own home world was most likely destroyed. She was their last hope fifty years ago. That legendary keybearer named Sora eluded her. With her entire life gone, it took all of Sophia's will to hold back her tears. A few desperate breaths escaped her lips, the only hint to the other woman that she was on the verge of a mental breakdown.
"I'm not mad..." Sophia whispered to Saki. The room was only forbidden for one reason, and that was Angela. Chances are that Angela never returned to her own home, which meant she was most likely dead. There was no use in protecting her memory if she was no longer around. After all Sophia only enshrined the woman in her memories, praying that one day she would return and everything would be the same. But that wast't the case. It never was, and it never will be.
Soon Sophia saw Saki fall to the ground, in almost a slow motion. She did everything she could to hold onto her, to make sure that she didn't fall. Yet Sophia wasn't strong enough. She was too weak, just like she was to weak and frail fifty years ago. And as Saki fell out of the Bibliophile's grip, the damn of willpower holding back her tears broke. Streams of tears fell down her face, as she started to sob uncontrollably. If she couldn't simply support Saki as she was trying to stand, then how could she protect the maid from the darkness that was to come?
As Saki asked for help, all Sophia could do was fall to her knees. Her arms collapsed on Saki's stomach. Her head rested in between the folds of her arms. Tear drops fell down from her eyes like rain drops, splashing onto her glasses and Saki's fine blue clothing. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." Was all Sophia could say. Over and over again, no longer caring about the dangers of the district or her own bleeding. All she could think of was her past sins. She destroyed her own life, and now she was paying the price.

Saki was glad that Sophia wasn't mad about the room. But when she put her hands on her stomach and soon followed with her head against them, Saki winched in pain. Saki wasn't entirely sure why Sophia was having a break down, particularly now. Saki did her best to stretch her hand out and managed to reach Sophia's leg as she said "Sophia, you need to calm down and focus." she managed to say through the pain. She just hoped that she was getting through. At the moment, neither was really in that good a state.
"We'll have plenty of time for apologies and all later." Saki managed to say with a smile. She wanted to try and make Sophia feel better, though it was hard to do so when she wasn't sure what was wrong. But she was starting to think something caused her to miss the last 50 years. "Your a thousand times better then me at magic." Saki said, "So.. try to cheer up a bit, so we can go back to your place, I think we could both use a shower and some ice cream." she added with a smile and as cheerfully as she could muster through the pain.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | Raising her head from Saki's stomach, Sophia looked at Saki with those big blue eyes of her. Tears still ran down her face, and a little bubble of snot was forming under one of her nostrils. The other woman may be right. She had to get herself together. Saki was injured, she needed to help her. Even though her white magic was weak, and she was already tired Sophia was the only one that could truly help. Rubbing the snot from her nose, the blue eyes scanned quickly over Saki's visible injuries. "I'll... I'll try..." The woman managed to say through her sobs.
Placing a palm just above Saki's body, Sophia's mind delved into her own body. Her own personal reserves of energy had been long since drained, now she needed to draw from something much deeper. Something much more sacred, life. At first it was difficult for her, rarely did Sophia suck the energy from the area around her. Yet she had too. At first the surrounding energy rebuked her, afraid of what this mage could do. Of what clung to her. Sophia simply reasserted herself again, and again. Begging, pleading to the energy to let the Bibliophile help her friend. Eventually the energy that encompassed both of them agreed, yet reluctantly, and allowed the woman to channel it.
"A votre santé" Sophia muttered under her breath, bestowing the power of white magic to the energy that was now surging within her. As the final syllable escaped Sophia's lips the magic rushed outwards. It started as a dull green orb floating just under the center of her palm, then within seconds it sprouted outwards. Tiny little wisps of energy, almost like the roots of a sprouting tree, branched outwards. Soon then encompassed the bulk of Saki's body, quickly nourishing her back to health. Once Saki seemed to be in good shape, Sophia abruptly cut off the magic. With a small thank you Sophia sent off the rest of the borrowed energy, it was not her place to keep it. Yet despite the spell her tears were still rolling down her face. There wasn't much for her to be happy about.
"We should..." Sophia paused as she spoke. Not just because of her sobs, she didn't know what to say. What did she want? What did she truly desire in Saki? Sophia wasn't sure. Maybe she did want Saki in that role, to be her maid or servant. Or whatever that android called her role in life. Or maybe Sophia just didn't want to be alone. Yet by the time Sophia's sobs quieted down enough for her to speak, she managed to blurt out something semi-intelligent. "We should leave this place"

Saki was glad Sophia would at least try to get herself situated and focus. She heard the spell Sophia used and it sounded nice. She could feel herself getting better as the light covered her body. It was a rather pleasant feeling. once the light disappeared Saki managed to stand up, and seeing as the only way out of third district was on the other side of it, and Sophia wasn't in top shape, she decided on a faster way out.. and to ice cream, and to Sophia's apartment. "Yes we should." Saki replied with a smile, picking up Sophia carefully before jumping up onto the roof tops and cutting across them to where the apartment was. She landed on the buildings roof and carried her to the doorway. She put Sophia down as she grabbed a key from her outfit and unlocked the door. "I hope the ride wasn't too strenuous or anything." she said with a smile, walking in to the apartment. Minus a lack of any food or actual trash, the apartment looked the exact same as the day she left, except a few books added here and there. She had added some books from her homeworld, whichever ones she could find amongst the rubble of buildings. Some dealt with what Saki was, others history, some just plain literature. She figured that Sophia would appreciate them, even if some weren't in the best condition.
Saki walked over to the window and opened it as she said "I'll be right back I promise, don't go leaving on me again", smiling before she jumped out the window and sprinted off to get ice cream. Was the window normal, well for Saki yes because it was the fastest way for her to get in and out. It only took her a couple minutes to get to the store, a few more cause there was a line.. and some shock at her order, and another couple as she came back with 4 tubs, not simple half gallons but the actual large tubs they served scoops from, albeit not used yet, back to the apartment. She jumped up and managed to maneuver her way in after landing on the ledge through the open window. Though, she realized there was no place to sit. So since Sophia had not been mad about the room early, she decided to go against what she was told those many years ago and entered.
It was really nice in here as she looked around. She saw the picture, but, given it's age the other woman was probably very old by now. Saki was going to do her best to avoid it. "Ice creams here." Saki said happily, putting all four tubs by the bed, opening one of the two that contained strawberry for Sophia. Though she quickly ran out and found a pair of spoons in the kitchen, happily holding one out for Sophia when she returned.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | Sophia was tired, but content. She quietly gripped onto Saki as the woman carried her halfway across Traverse Town to Angela's old apartment. No, not Angela's apartment. Angela was long gone, it was Sophia's now. The woman bit her lip as Saki jumped from building, trying to use the pain to distract her from her own thoughts. By the time the pair arrived in her old apartment Sophia's tears subsided. Barely, but they did subside.
As Sophia walked into her own apartment, her face did not change. It was like she was made of stone, for the first time in her life. It was hard to find excitement in something so depressing, at least that's how Sophia felt now. Time is what she needed, it could heal all wounds. "I like what you did with the place." Was all Sophia could say as she looked over her home, and even that was halfhearted. It was not that she disliked it, but for once she found no joy in her life. Still holding back the tears Sophia slowly strolled through her apartment, her hand running along the spines of books in her home. She could tell that Saki added a few books, just from a mere glance. This was her own personal library, and she remembered bringing ever single book into her collection save for a few. And those she could not remember were the ones that Saki herself brought in.
"Thank you, for the books..." Sophia trailed off before finishing her own sentence. Taking time to read the spines. Strangely disinterested she finished her earlier sentence. "And for keeping the place clean." Shortly after Sophia finished her last sentence Saki took her leave, presumably on some nameless errand. Leaving Saki to her own defenestration, Sophia began to wander her apartment. It didn't take long for Sophia to arrive at that room. The one that Angela made her bedroom. After a few nervous seconds, Sophia pushed her way in. Eyes scanned the room, looking for anything that was disturbed. Yet it was almost untouched, save for the dust that was clearly swept away.
Withdrawing the All Seeing Eye from her jacket, Sophia looked the old tome over. For a few brief seconds she wondered what it truly was, before thoughtlessly discarding it on the bed. From there she made her way to the window, believing that some fresh air would help her. After all for the last fifty years she had none at all. The sound of the city bellowed filled Sophia's ears as she opened the window up wide.Within a few seconds a beautiful blue jay roosted on the window sill. A small little smile spread across the Bibliophile's face. Reaching out, she scooped the little creature into her hand. After years of domestication it was comfortable with human life. That's when magic sparked within Sophia.
Before the innocent bird could fly away a sphere of black magic encased it. The thing screamed out, trying to escape the field of gravity yet it was not strong enough. Emotionless Sophia watched as her orb of gravity crushed it like a high powered grinder until it was nothing more then dust. Releasing the magic she simply looked on at the bird's remains, which was a fine powder. "It doesn't matter. It wasn't real. None of this is." She muttered to herself before dumping the dust onto the ground.
Feeling tired, Sophia took a seat on the bed. One hand resting on her old unopenable spell book. After a few minutes of waiting, Saki walked in. Large blue eyes turned to face her friend. The other woman said something but Sophia was too preoccupied with the bowls in Saki's hands, which were filled with ice cream. The delicate sweets brought the tiniest smile to Sophia's face. It was clear that she was not mad at Sophia for being in a once sacred place. "Oh! Ice cream!" Sophia exclaimed. The apathy in her voice that she possessed only seconds ago was gone without a trace.

Saki was glad that the ice cream seemed to cheer Sophia up. Though as she gave Sophia her spoon, she actually felt something wet and a breeze. Trying to turn but having to instead reach around and could feel that the spot that hit the pipe had actually ripped and was wet. "I'm glad you like the ice cream, and the books." Figuring the town when she seemed disinterested was simply a form of shock from the news and all. "Sorry, I can't stand being in wet clothes" Saki said, putting the spoon on the tub with vanilla ice cream as she took the couple minutes required to get fully out of them, leaving her in a pair of white panties and matching bra. Another change she had made, always wearing a bra underneath.
Saki stepped out and put the clothes in the bathroom so as to not ruin anything and came back, not having a change of clothes. She came back and sat on the bed, then realizing that Sophia's clothes were tattered and blood stained. She had completely forgotten about them. "Maybe you should get out of those clothes too, since there all torn and such." Saki said, completely innocent. Did Saki love Sophia, yes, did she want to do this and that, in the back of her mind yes, but getting out of those clothes was purely because of their state, not trying to get a look. Though as she looked at Sophia and then herself, a slight pout crossed her face as she put her hands on her bra. She was kind of envious of the fact Sophia had bigger boobs than she did, and that they had probably grown from the point she had physically been in Saki's age range. Saki had the same appearance of late teens early twenties, and never grew or changed. She looked back at Sophia and part of her wanted to feel them to see if they were the same as Hild or Misao's.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | all around the world was waking, i never could go back | Head turned aside, Sophia continued to eat her ice cream. It a simply courtesy to the other woman, to look away. She honestly wished she could simply tell the other woman to change in some other room. Yet should not bare to give Saki any kind of orders. The thought of having the woman as her servant terrified the Bibliophile. It was not because she didn't like Saki, in fact it was far from that. She valued Saki as a friend, and felt like it wasn't her place to be in a duel relationship like that.
Blue eyes stayed glued to the soft red ice cream in front of her. She slowly dragged her spoon through the confection, before raising a small spoonful to her mouth. This was not the rapid eating habits that Sophia had fifty years ago. It was slow, deliberate. When before she would simply shove it in her mouth. Although slightly happier, it took time to cope with the fact that almost everyone you knew or loved was dead. Or on their way to their grave. The bibliophile's attention was solely focused on the ice cream, until Saki spoke. At first all she could manage for a reply was a soft mumble. Which was barely audible.
After a few more seconds of silences, and quite thinking, Sophia managed to gather enough sense to reply. "Yeah... That sounds like a good idea." Sophia replied, placing the bowl of ice cream on the small night stand. After a few more seconds of quite contemplation Sophia rose to her feet, scooping the All Seeing Eye back into her hand. The woman's eyes lingered on her book as she made her way across to her dresser. Being raised in a rather conservative library never had Sophia seen a person in so few clothes. The new experience made her feel rather awkward, she knew what was supposed to be under their and it's biological function. She had no desire to see more of it. With the mahogany dresser in sight, Sophia placed her old tome on the top and opened the draw.
Diligent hangs shuffled through the draws, looking for reliable clothes to replace her old ones. After a few minutes of searching, Sophia pulled out a clean pair of clothing. The smell of detergent lingered on it. Clearly Saki had her clothes washed as well. It was a nice gesture, Sophia would have hated to come back to old stale clothing. "Thank you Saki, for keeping my clothes clean." Sophia said, rolling her clothing up into a ball. Turning away from the dresser, she grabbed her old book once again. She made a vow to take care of it fifty years ago when she left her home world. Yet when she turned around she did not face Saki, instead she faced the opened window, which put the near naked woman just out of her line of sight. "If you do not mind, I am going to change in the bathroom."

Saki waited for an answer, but mumble aside it seemed to take a while. Though, as she watched Sophia, it seemed as if she wasn't totally comfortable with Saki's current state. She than watched her go to the dresser and get some new clothes before thanking her. "Your welcome Sophia." Saki said with a bright smile and enthusiasm. Saki didn't quite understand why Sophia was clinging to the book the way she was. Though, her mind drifted off briefly to Hild scolding her for coming here to keep the place totally clean. She had said it wasn't healthy for her mentally, but Saki was Saki.
She then watched her move without looking at her, before saying she would change in the bathroom. "Of course i don't mind Sophia, this is your home." Saki replied, slightly puzzled as to why she seemed to be asking her. Though, Saki was also puzzled by the fact Sophia wasn't looking at her at all. and she seemed to be so melancholy again."Programming" aside, all Saki wanted to do was make Sophia happy, so seeing her seem upset again made her feel bad. Saki started eating some of her vanilla ice cream, but not with her usual enthusiasm.

[atrb=border,0px,true][atrb=width,400px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true] | | | | my blood is singing with your voice | With a silent nod, Sophia departed from the room. Her eyes glued to the ground as she walked, like a child trying to avoid the scornful glare of a parent. She walked as fast as she could, and before she knew it Sophia was pushing herself into the small bathroom in the center of the large apartment. As she entered the bathroom, she tossed the old tome ontop of a musty pile of books. Tossing her clothes onto the porcelain throne, Sophia stood in front of the sink.
A soft delicate hand grasped at the cold steel handle of the sink. With a twist cold water began to flow from the faucet. With a sight of relief, Sophia removed her glasses before bring her hands under the running water. Cupping her hands so that the water would build up she slowly washed her face. Just to drive off the weariness of the day. After all it wasn't everyday you broke out of a mystical prison and fought for your life against a few dozen heartless, and one that was immune to your only form of attack. As she wiped her face down, her crystal blue eyes locked with the reflection of her eyes. Something was wrong about this. Yes... Something was wrong about this all.
It was all different. Not like it should be. Something was off. Was it reality? Yes. It had to be. That was the only logical explanation. It was all fake, like all the other worlds she saw before. Every time she made it right. The woman scrunched up her face. How did she make it right? Oh that's right, she killed them. She killed them all. After patting her face dry with a fluffy white towel, Sophia knew who she had to kill again.
With her glasses back in place, Sophia returned to the bedroom where Saki waited. Only pausing to give the All Seeing Eye a slight glance. When she returned to the room, she looked Saki directly in the eye. Yet something was wrong, and it was just that she did not change her clothing. There was something lacking within her eyes, as if she was missing part of her self. Sophia raised a single finger, pointed towards the large window that she opened only seconds ago. Without a single word a spark of magic ignited at Sophia's finger tip. The energy lanced outwards, and just out side of the window it exploded. In the wake of the destructive force, a vortex of magic was created, drawing in everything around it. Innocent animals, papers and books from the room, even innocents on the streets. No one was safe from the pull of the magic, save for Sophia herself.
