Looking as if time in the sky had stopped leaving it forever at that orange glow that announced it was near sunset. Walking the streets eyes scanning the town her black hair that held blue and green tint to it was tied back in its usual messy pony tail with strands falling out and around her face while it was tied back with a skull shaped clip. With her blue eyes lined with mascara and eyeliner and covered in hues of pink and purple - creating a smokey eye effect her lips a dark pink her pale face seemingly to glow in the forever twilight painted sky.
Wearing a pair of black shorts with a black biker jacket that had a red corset top beneath it her boot clad feet that had red and black socks up to the knee as well as fishnet stockings covering them barely made an audible sound as she walked across the street. One hand freely hanging at her side, the other fiddling with the stick of a sucker that was on her mouth she was in her own world. Not paying attention to what was going on around her, or the people that moved about. It was mid afternoon so shops were at there busiest. She went un noticed by most. Which is how she preferred it most of the time. But at the moment with nothing to pre occupy herself with she was wishing someone would notice her.
Sighing as she plopped down on the steps in the station plaza and removed her jacket and sat it beside her. She popped the sucker from her mouth looking at the pink watermelon flavored ball of candy as if it were the most interesting thing she had ever laid eyes on before she popped it back in her mouth. The crescent moon shaped pendant that hung around her neck shined in the light of the sun as she looked at the silver bullet cuff bracelet that was wrapped around her wrist. Giving up on trying to focus on something she propped her head on her hand the red jeweled ring on her finger being twirled around by herself unconsciously.
Evalynne began trying to figure out something to do to pass time. She had walked around the town for a few hours before finding herself on the steps where she now sat so walking was out of the question. She was contemplating on going to the clock tower or possibly the beach but she didn't really feel like doing that either. What she really wanted was a conversation. Someone to talk to but most people never noticed her. If they did never gave her a second glance. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • POSTWORDCOUNT:: 458 MYCURRENTMOOD:: bored THECURRENTSONG:: the great escape - boys like girls CHARACTERSOUTFIT:: click here POSTTAGGEDFOR:: Jun WRITERSCOMMENT:: i couldn't come up with a title and it took me through four songs to write this post and wake me up when september ends by green day was one of the songs i listened to in the process and it just seemed like a good title. STORM cocks his head as he exits the train. A crowd of tired workers push past him, as if trying to get home after a long day at the office. Except.. in this town every day was exactly the same. His body clock was already messed up and he'd only been there a week. He'd never yet seen the sun set, and assumed this world was incapable of spinning. The gunslinger pushes forwards with the crowd, giving in to the tide, but keeps his hand on his gun holster; not to use it, but protect it from potential thieves.
Within a couple of minutes he was outside in the warm sun, and a smile broke on his face; a tired one, but good nonetheless. As he moves out of the crowd, he removes his grip of the gun and yawns. He walks over to a vending machine in the corner, and slides in a coin, before punching in the code for a Pepsi (equivalent). As he gkances around and waits for the can to drop, he spies a pretty girl with strange, dark-teal hair. Raising an eyebrow and smiling slightly, he turns around; she looked bored, and slightly lonely.
He bends down and roots around for his Pepsi, and is then hit by a fist of inspiration. He decided to buy her a drink, and if she didn't accept he could have both. No harm done there. He repeats the process, and gets his next. He picks both up, and glances at the girl. It wouldn't hurt her, and it sure as hell wouldn't hurt him. He watches for a few moments, waiting for the crowd to mill out, before scratching the back of his head nervously.
Alright. Move in, the flirt everlasting.
He walks across the station, his movements graceful as always. He moves his jacket so it covers his gun, but he couldn't do much to hide the great sword slung across his back. Slowing down as he approaches her, he finds a seat close to her and sits down. Turning to face whatever she was looking out, he opens his mouth to speak.
"Hey... I thought you looked pretty lonely, and a little company never hurt anyone so here I am. I haven't gotta go anywhere, and if you want me to leave, just say so," he says in one big breathe, before placing the can of Pepsi next to her, before opening his own and taking a sip. His blue eyes blink slowly, as he watches a crowd of gulls fly across the sky, silhouettes in the sun.

People moved around her and she rolled her eyes at them as they rushed around pushing through each other thinking that they would get home faster if they rushed. Shaking her head she tucked a strand of hair behind he ear as the crowd finally thinned out.
Tapping her fingers idly on her leg she heard the sound of someone getting a drink from the nearby machine. Followed by approaching foot falls. She figured it was just a normal commuter but unlike the others actually taking their time instead of rushing and being in a hurry.
Looking to her side as she heard a male's voice she eyed him warily as he sat the can of soda next to her before he sat down not far from where she was seated. Looking at the soda she picked it up and spoke as she watched the seagulls fly in the orange, yellow, pink, and purple hued sky,
"Um, Thanks... Good Eye. Your right - I could use some company."
She gave a small smile and opened the soda. It giving a pop as the seal was broke and a his from the caffeine before taking a sip from the can. Holding the can in her hand she rested her elbows on her knees. Watching him from the corner of her eyes trying to determine if she could trust him or not she finally spoke after making a split second decision that he could be trusted.
"I'm Dusk, and you are?"
She ended with a question after only giving him her middle name which is what she went by now. She never went by her first name - Not anymore. She rarely acknowledged those who addressed her by it. The Person of her first name didn't exist anymore. They died a year and a half ago - There was only her now. A ghost of her former somebody. The real Evalynne Xavier - She was just Dusk now. Nothing more - Nothing less. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • POSTWORDCOUNT:: 355 MYCURRENTMOOD:: bored THECURRENTSONG:: st. jimmy - green day CHARACTERSOUTFIT:: click here POSTTAGGEDFOR:: Jun WRITERSCOMMENT:: i couldn't come up with a title and it took me through four songs to write this post and wake me up when september ends by green day was one of the songs i listened to in the process and it just seemed like a good title. "Dusk's a pretty name," he murmured coolly, taking another sip from his pepsi can. The sweet, cold liquid was like medicine to his tired mind. He breathed a happy sigh, before grinning. Of course, there was a slim chance Dusk -could- be her real name, but who does call their child that? The woman probably did have her reasons. She seemed empty, somehow. Like an valuable item was missing.
Ah well, not a lot to be done on that issue.
"Well, Dusk, my name is Storm," he says, scratching the back of his head. Most ordinary people only knew him by this name; he hadn't told many people of his original Jun name. He scratches his nose, takes another sip, and turns to face her. "I've been here for but a week and I'm already slightly bored. Is there anything to do here?" he says steadily, eyes calculating, trying to see her reaction.

No emotion ever reached her eyes. She was incapable of feeling emotion. She could act like she did put on a fake smile and spill fake tears and rant and scream in anger but it was all a lie - She was a shell. Anyone who knew she was far from human knew she was putting on a mask.
"Nice to meet you - thats an interesting name."
She spoke the smile gracing her lips - She doubted that was his real name and like her he was using an alias. Which meant there was something in his past that changed him as a person. Like her but it didn't change her as a person. It changed her human side before it changed her.
She wasn't anybody anymore. She once was a somebody but now she was a nobody. She placed the sucker back into her mouth and sat the soda can down beside her after taking a small sip. Evalynne gave a small chuckle. It was true there wasn't much entertainment for around here. You had to work around being bored.
"Well you gotta learn to confront the boredom and get around it. Then again even thats sometimes hard. But there is the beach then there is the occasional struggle matches held in the Sandlot. There's the Mysterious Tower and the supposedly Haunted Mansion in the forest which can be accessed through a crevice in the wall and the view from the clock tower. Those are really the only fun things you can come to do around here. You gotta trek around and find things to amuse yourself. I've only been here for about a year and a half."
Popping the now bare sucker stick from her mouth she tossed it into a nearby garbage bin and unwrapped a new one and popped it into her mouth after taking a sip of her soda.
"Want one?"
She asked pulling a sucker out of her pocket and holding it up as an offering. She always had a stash of suckers on her person some place because she was in all sense a sucker addict as she liked to put it. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • POSTWORDCOUNT:: 376 MYCURRENTMOOD:: bored THECURRENTSONG:: misery business - paramore CHARACTERSOUTFIT:: click here POSTTAGGEDFOR:: Jun WRITERSCOMMENT:: i couldn't come up with a title and it took me through four songs to write this post and wake me up when september ends by green day was one of the songs i listened to in the process and it just seemed like a good title.
