It is always known that Kingdom Hearts possesses something within its doors. Some suggested it was the X-Blade, others suggested it was pure darkness, and then others believed it was the ability to reshape the universe as they see fit. The worlds have all shifted rapidly in the year of 2183, the worlds of Disney Castle and the Radiant Gardens lead the Unified Commonwealth while Earth leads the United Federation of Nations; however, both fall under the jurisdiction of the Galactic Alliance which commands other nations.
2182 saw the destruction of Organization XIII at the hands of the Commonwealth’s chosen Keyblade wielder, Sora. However, one year later, the Organization has risen once again due to the power Xemnas grasped upon merging with the damaged Kingdom Hearts. The power is something that has been active for as long as sentient life existed. The power behind Kingdom Hearts is actually split into two realms, one of light and one of darkness. The light is almost always present to aid those who desperately seek it while the darkness does what it can to tip the balance in its favor. While the light realm prefers to be nameless, the darkness revels in its power calling itself the Shadow Court.
Journeying through a vast galaxy allows for one to make several choices, some big, some small, and some that have no real significance until much later. The only question is, what will you do? Will you be a hero to burn the darkness away? Will you be a villain who swallows worlds in darkness? Or will you simply sit between light and darkness and only work for your own benefit?
