[/font] ------------------------------------------- [/color] She didn't understand what had brought this on. She knew Sora could be excitable, but she'd been dragged out of bed this morning while he screamed something about Leprechauns. She didn't even know what that was! But he had talked her into going to some other world with him to look for them. He told her she didn't need her mace, but she brought it anyhow, she left it on the ship. She didn't know anything about htis "mission" he was one, but he mentioned something about everyone thinking he was crazy, and she was starting to think maybe they were right.
But, then again, apparently so was she. She'd actually gotten up, showered, and gone with him. Instead of braiding her head though, she left it down. It was starting to curl, and she couldn't keep her fingers out of it. She wore shorts instead of a skirt, and a small green tanktop. She trudged through the tall grasses after where she assumed Sora was. A few minutes after they'd gotten there, he'd jumped head first into the field, wearing some strange khakis he had pulled from somewhere in the ship. She'd also never seen a butterfly net that large.
From how he was handling this, she assumed what they were looking for wasn't all that dangerous, not like a heartless or anything. And, speaking of heartless, she had seen none; save for the one perked on her head that she had kept and named Mushi. He was very friendly, and it still seemed to shock everyone, but he didn't do anything, so he was still goof for the time being.
She looked around the field, watching where she stepped cautiously."..Sora?" She called in a loud whisper, she didn't want to frighten his...whatever it was, away. She looked around, and still could not catch sight of him, and she looked up at Mushi, and sighed lightly, beginning to look again.

Sora could not miss out on finding something as fantastic as a leprechaun! Cid had told him the night before of their existence and of where to find them, that was all Sora needed to hear, completely oblivious to Cid's snickers at the fact that the Keybearer believed him. He decided that the Heartless could wait for one day while he took a little detour from his duties as the Keyblade Master.
He'd finally get a chance to wear his khaki safari-outfit that he'd gotten from Jane and Tarzan! It had been too big before but now he was sure that it would fit and serve its purpose. Snatching up a rather obnoxiously large butterfly net he had convinced Ame to come with him--no one else was willing to get out of bed that early to come with him.
Currently he was wading through the tall field grass, once he'd landed the ship he had quickly disappeared in to the lush grass that seemed to tower over him. He wasn't very graceful and ended up tripping over his shoes a few times, but would pick himself back up almost instantly and continue his search.
Cid said that Leprechauns were attracted to the sound of Leprechaun flutes... And luckily for him, Cid had provided him with one! Pulling it out of his pocket he admired the instrument before putting it up to his lips and blowing as hard as he could. The noise that came out of it was--to put it simply, ear shattering. Nothing could have possibly been as obnoxiously loud or ear piercing as the sound that Sora had just produced.

[/font] ------------------------------------------- [/color] She wasn't sure why she'd come with him. Was it the fact she had a growing crush on the boy? That was probably a lot of it, but she also was just curious to see why he what he was so excited. She still couldn't understand what they were looking for, but it must have been important if he was in such a tizzy about it.
She still couldn't see him, which was shocking considering how large that net was, but she had no clue where he was. She stopped moving, and began to just look out over the grass. She wasn't sure where to begin looking. She heard Mushi clicking and she shrugged, looking the Shadow in the face. "I don't know where he went, I'm looking!" She argued with the heartless. So, it seemed Sora wasn't the only one who'd lost their mind in this little group.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when a shrill whistle came from the grass. She felt herself fall forward and catch herself on her knees. She looked over the grass, and figured whatever that had been; had come from Sora. She began to crawl towards the god awful noise, just praying he wouldn't blow it again while she was on the way towards him.
She finally was able to catch sight of him, and she crawled next to him, kneeling while he was submerged in the grass. "What was that!?" She asked in the same whisper as before. Whatever he'd done still had her ears ringing.

Sora was way in over his head--literally!--the grass was so damn tall and unfortunately for him he seemed to have gotten himself a bit turned around. Figures, he sometimes had the worst luck ever and today was no exception. "Hey Ame I thi--huh? Ame? Where'd you go?" He'd been so caught up with chasing his imaginary prey that he'd completely forgotten about his friend--the only one willing to actually go on this stupid [my words, not his!] expedition in the first place and he went and lost her!
A rustling to his left alerted him that he wasn't alone, he took a tentative step forward, tightly clutching the handle of his butterfly net. "Ame? S'that you?" As he got closer the rustling became louder and louder...until a giant stork-like bird flew out of the tall reeds and right over his head! Sora cried out in surprise, stumbling back and landing on his bottom. That was how Ame found him. How embarassing.
Clambering to his feet and dusting himself off he tilted his head to the side, not at all ruffled by his near death experience with the vicious stork. "What was what?"

[/font] ------------------------------------------- [/color] She was beginning to worry, she didn't like being lost, she was in a world she'd never been to before and she lost her friend! Great! She heard the heartless click a bit more, and she looked up to see something large fly out of the grass. She jumped back a bit, but got her footing, but that was before she shrill noise caught her off guard and knocked her on her knees.
She raised an eyebrow at him as he seemed to not know what she was talking about. "The loud..thingy! I don't know what it was!" She said through a laugh. She then looked as Mushi started clicking louder and clung to her head. She looked up lightly, and she froze. Some grass before then started rustling and it sounded like something big was in there. She didn't have her weapon if she needed it, so she hoped he had something on him more then that metal thing(whistle xD) and that net!
"Sora, what is that?" She whispered, pointing towards the brush. She grabbed one of his hands with the one she wasn't using to point, and she knew she probably looked relatively startled, but she felt defenseless and wasn't sure what was in that bush.

Sora readjusted his wide safari hat, it was a little too big for his head and smothered his wild brunette spikes. But it was worth having bad hat-hair if he could just get his hands on one of those glorious creatures! He tilted his head back over his shoulder at her, watching as she fell to her knees, "You alright?" She didn't look like she had been hurt or gotten scraped up or anything, which was a relief. The last thing Sora needed was for either of them to get hurt out here in the middle of nowhere. Curaga could only go so far but there were a few situations in which it wouldn't be enough--like, if Ame's leg for some reason just decided to fall off, granted Sora had never tried to reattach a limb with a cure spell but he reckoned that it probably wouldn't be very successful.
He let out a small gasp of recognition and grinned, "Oh! That was probably--" The sapphire eyed brunette held up the metal flute and waved it around, "--this! It's a Leprechaun Flute, Cid gave it to me for this mission!" Leave it to Sora to actually think that he was on an actual important mission.
Jumping to his feet Sora placed his index finger against his lips, silently telling her to be quiet while he went to investigate the noise. Gripping the butterfly net so tightly that his knuckles turned a bright snow white, Sora leapt forward and disappeared once again in to the tall grass. Grunts and groans and high pitched moans [haha, that rhymed!] were heard from the other side in what sounded like was a decent struggle.
"Holy cow! I got one, I got one!" He cried excitedly, pumping a fist in the air and rushing out to show Ame the little man who was sitting with his arms crossed over his chest in annoyance against the thin netting of the butterfly net.
Sora pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket with a crudely drawn face carelessly scribbled on the surface. His eyes darted back and forth between the two--the Leprechaun in his net and the God-awful drawing of a Leprechaun on the paper. Nodding in affirmation.
"Yup, this is most definitely a Leprechaun!" He turned his attention to the little red-haired man in the net and held out a finger against the net in a friendly gesture, "Hi, my name is Sora, and that's Ame!"
The little creature opened its mouth as if it were about to say something...but then chomped down on Sora's extended finger, breaking through the netting and at the same time the skin on Sora's finger. The Keyblade Master's eyes watered and he bit back a cry of pain, that little monster had some teeth on him, that was for sure!

She didn't know if she would be after whatever was in the bush got them, but for the time being, yes she was alright. She swallowed, and she looked back towards the bush. Though, her attention was brought back to Sora as he showed her something. What in Merlin's Beard was THAT?! It was a metal thing with holes in it. A Leprechaun Flute....? Was he serious? She would KILL Cid for this later. She did hope they found whatever Sora was looking for so they could rub it in his face.
She didn't like being left alone again, but she stayed put and nodded as he began to crawl away to look into what ever had been in the bushes. She swallowed and looked up at the shadow on her head and shushed it lightly. She tensed a bit, and she just waited, trusting Sora to come back.
She felt herself tense further at the noises that came from the grass, and she started to go see what had happened when she heard Sora yell. He'd gotten one!? She wanted to see! She hopped to her feet and moved closer, "Really?!!" He better not have been pulling her leg. She wanted to know what these things actually were!
As Sora pointed to the net, sure enough there was a little man in there! She was floored! He HAD found something! She squinted at the little thing, and she smiled as Sora pointed to her. She waited to see what it would say, but it bit Sora. She looked angerily at the little thing. "No! Bad...Leprechaun!" She said, poking the net lightly. She moved her hand quickly and she looked to Sora, "Are you okay? Lemme see." She said, concerned.
As she paid attention to him, Mushi slithered from her shoulder and looked down at the man in the next, swatting at him lightly.

Sora reeled his hand back in pain, stuffing his injured finger in to mouth and sucking on it to try and alleviate not only the pain but to also get the bleeding to stop. Stamping his foot against the ground and shooting an incredulous and somewhat annoyed glare in the Leprechauns direction. He was only trying to be friendly with the little Irish bugger--he didn't have to go and bite him! How rude was that!? Stupid thing was just like Riku in that aspect!
He pulled his finger out of his mouth and pointed it at the little green-clad man, though making sure to keep it a good distance away from it's face. "I'm going to name you Riku!" The brunette whirled around excitedly to face Ame,"I bet he'll be so flattered that I named my new pet after him!" Sora's lips pulled back into a massive grin at the thought of showing his best friend his latest find. And then simultaneously that grin was gone and replaced by a saddened frowned--he still needed to find his bestfriend...
He almost jumped when Ame grabbed his hand to check over his 'battle wound', but relaxed soon after and waved it off with a smile. "I'm okay, pinky promise!"
