It was kind of nice to be somewhere kind of normal. Okay, well, technically that last place had been normal, the issue was him. First was Amestris, with all it's craziness, and the cute fox girl sin, than that place with that frollo guy, where he had once again gotten stuck in the hybrid form. At least his grandmother was willing to relent after the events on bot worlds that he could have some of the stuff that kept him from changing in a couple of the worlds. Namely ones Raina had actually been to. She didn't want two people she knew running around with serious issues on impulse control.
But after the quick stop in Hollow bastion, he got word from his grandmother to come to where she was at in traverse town. The whole way it had been seemed... strange. like how she had gone to say something but stopped as if someone was telling her not to. And why did he have to go there, why couldn't they simply talk when she got back. It was dangerous to leave Cysero to his devices, and he didn't trust that Xairdo pain in the ass as far as he could throw him.
HE entered into first district from the portal, surprised to see a couple of heartless scurrying around. It was rather rare the creatures entered first district, though not unheard of. They immediatly went after him since he was the nearest person with a heart and Rune rolled his eyes. In a flash he pulled the elbow blades he carried out and in a series of spins while moving forward slashed them all, his cloak flying out without so much as a flap sounding from it. He preferred speed and skill as opposed to brute strength, and the series of attacks was fluid and natural, no different than watching water in a stream. The fabric made a sound as it fell back into place, no longer in a constant and even motion. All that remained was the fading black smoke of the heartless as they vanished, Rune looking around and seeing no more lurking around.
"Well, that was rather easy". he said, slightly bored by it. He gave the blades a spin before sliding them into the belt behind his back. He pulled the cloaks hood down, revealing the pure white hair beneath. "Let's see, I think her shop is this way". Rune said, starting off to where the door to the off limits third district was. Behind that door was basically the one section of this world the creatures controlled. Probably why his grandmother had put the shop there, if they ever ventured past the door or something people had weapons right there. than again, there was also second district where they weren't in solid control, but they were getting close. He stopped and thought for a minute, changing his course slightly. "No, it's probably in the middle". he said, walking off in what he was sure was the right direction.
He looked around for a bit, before getting frustrated and jumping up onto the rooftops to look. He finally saw a sign that looked like it was for the shop a few blocks away, but became distracted by a familiar whirring sound. He looked up and saw several more heartless, though, these ones were different tahn usual since they seemed like they were piloting a flying contraption. He'd encountered them before, and they were just so annoying. "You've got to be kidding me". he said, jumping away and doing a back flip as first one and than another went in for a strafing run. He sprinted for the edge of the roof, spinning briefly and throwing a ball of fire from his hand in their direction. He spun back around to sprint off the roof, but the ball of fire exploded sooner than he thought and sent him tumbling off the roof, managing to get a hand down to try and control it but still tumbling along till he slammed into a wall. "Ow...." he said, rubbing his head as he sat against the wall, looking up and seeing the black smoke vanishing again. "Least it wor....owww damn it!" he exclaimed, trying to move the hand he had used to try and spring board with when he landed and sharp pain shooting through his entire right arm. "That's definitely going to take some time to fix and all". he said, blinking as he put his head against the wall and looked up, trying not to black out from the intense pain he had just felt. "I just can't win this month, can I?" he said, frustrated with how things were going the last few weeks.
