Kadence glanced up at Sentenza meekly, her mouth forming a slight O. She was about to ask him him what the matter was, but stopped in her tracks when DAR said something. Something about being trigger happy. She frowned slightly. It didn't sound like she had quite escaped the crazy people yet, but she figured there were probably lots more out there in the universe. She smirked slightly and elbowed Sentenza in the rib gently. "So, does craziness run in the family?" she asked with a little giggle. "Which big fight?" "There were a lot of us. Two boys with Keyblades...me and three bad guys." She felt a little childish saying 'bad guys' but that's what they were to her. People who wanted nothing more than to wreak havoc on people's lives and hurt them for their own personal gain. Kade sighed. "The three bad guys were not your typical villians. Sora said one of them was a Nobody; one of them used the power of darkness and the other one....well he could summon a big fat man." Her tone turned flat when speaking of the battle, but she managed a smile. "It's okay though, we made it out alive." She grimaced at DAR. "Now why exactly would you want her to be ditzy?" She rolled her eyes but cracked a smile at the same time. Well one thing for sure was traveling with this bunch would probably be pretty interesting.

Saki looked at Sentenza as he said about his cousin's insanity, but that cysero was smart enough to use it. Saki looked up at the sky a moment as she thought of that one. "Actually... how smart he is is highly debatable... a lot of it happens by accident and he has no clue how. All normal rules of.. well everything don't seem to apply when he's around." she replied, knowing no other way to explain it. Truthfully, Saki could spend her entire existence studying all the things he did, and never have any answer by the laws of normal science and even some magics as to how the hell certain things happened.

Though, her thoughts of that were interrupted when Ivy heard Sentenza's answer. "I have no idea what the cutesy moe part is for, but you tried to make me a ditz!" she shouted, Saki choosing to think on Kade's description, not fully aware of this fight. maybe it had happened while she was stuck here. "Okay, I know your highly unintelligent, but you wanted to make the thing that's going to help fly the ship a ditz? are you really that stupid or just insane?" Ivy said, still talking to DAR. Saki than hit a button and Ivy vanished before she could say whatever else was on her mind. "Perhaps we should go and get the ice cream now." Saki said, starting off half absent mindedly to the shop.

"Actually, he's insane and stupid, though I'm sure you already figured that out." Sentenza said. DAR could be a major pain at times, to say the least, if he wasn't out right maddening, coming up with an idiotic "Get Laid Quick" scheme as Sentenza called them, as that was the point behind the cockamamy schemes that DAR came up with. "Getting to the ice cream place sounds good." Sentenza said, giving Kade a gentle tug before following after Saki. DAR popped up. "I'm sorry okay, but is it so wrong to want just a little entertainment when I'm floating around with 3 stiffs and one of those stiff's potential-" DAR caught himself on how he might describe Kadence. Dealing with angry Saki scared the hell out of DAR. "One of those stiff's potential special friend." DAR said in a monotone voice, picking his words carefully at once. If talking about what DAR actually meant might set Saki off, DAR wasn't going to risk it.

Kade really liked how Sentenza held her hand. It was firm, yet not rough or controlling. It was comforting, reassuring, almost as reassuring as the sound of ice cream. The teen had a sweet tooth of sorts, but not too much that she craved them a lot. Her secret pleasure was pizza. Actually, she hadn't had pizza in a really long time, but ice cream would do for the time being. Her train of thought was interrupted by another of Ivy's outbursts. She winced slightly at the loud noise, but grinned as DAR grew strangely quiet. Saki put Ivy to sleep and suggested they get onto the ice cream, which was starting to sound better than ever now. Kadence followed automatically at the tug Sentenza gave her. She noticed that she was strangely a lot more calm than she had been earlier when she was all fired up for Sentenza stealing her battle. She laughed inwardly at how much she had changed from the start of her adventure. Falling through that hole, meeting Kiaxi, having her panic attack in Wonderland, being whisked off to Agrabah, the fight in Tonner, and the showdown in Radiant Garden. Her free hand moved to her jacket pocket and shuffled around until she found the cool touch of the object she wanted. She pulled it out and unfolded her hand to see the little key chain. The silver chain trailed over her fingers, ending in a pink heart with a lock in the middle. She pocketed the trinket and continued along beside Sentenza and Saki. They finally reached the ice cream shop. She pressed her face close to the glass, grinning at all the sweet treats she could almost taste on her lips. Besides ice cream, they also had an assortment of baked goods that tickled her nostrils. The cheery atmosphere seemed to make the night even better.

"Well, only after we get to hollow bastion will there be three. I'm taking my own gummi ship there, it needs to get back and no one else would be able to fly it, especially since it's not 100% fixed but is flyable." Saki said to Dar's comment, strangely unaffected by being called a stiff and all. But than again she was too wrapped up in her own depression to care. Perhaps because she was a "stiff" Sophia had decided she didn't want her? Though, she became confused at the last part. "Special friend? what's the difference between a special friend and normal friend?" she asked, half looking back.

She brought her head up as they got to the shop and saw Kadence press her face up against the glass. "You two can get whatever you want". Saki said, trying to be cheerful and forcing a smile. Try as she might, she couldn't really be cheerful even looking at all the things she could eat. But than again, she maybe them being happy and enjoying themselves would make her feel better. She had seen it happen before with other people. Maybe it would be the same for her?

"Dammit, calm down, you don't need to cringe behind me every time you say something knuckleheaded, just when you say something extremely knuckleheaded." Sentenza sighed in response to DAR. Sentenza looked at all the flavors of ice cream that the shop had, having a hard time deciding what to get. He didn't typically get ice cream, so he didn't really know what flavors he liked or disliked. Snetenza eventually decided just to go with plain old vanilla. "I'd just like a small cone of vanilla ice cream." Sentenza said. "Boooring." DAR said, sttempting to make a sound akin to yawning. "What would you know? You can't eat, so how would you know if it's boring?" Sentenza asked. "Because the adult magazines I bought with your money say so!" DAR said. " . . . I think we're talking about entirely different meanings of the word 'vanilla' here." Sentenza said.

Kadence blinked, a slight perturbed look on her young face, but then understanding flickered to life. Saki had a ship as well and they would meet up in Hollow Bastion. As much as she really like Sentenza, she wasn't too sure about being alone with him on a ship. She wasn't worried about something happening, but they were just now getting to know each other. She wanted to take this as slow as possible. Not just to make sure this was going to work out, but also to enjoy time with him before making a big commitment. And of course there would always be DAR to make the situations even more awkward. Despite what the floating machinery spouted out, she doubted that that was what Sen was after. Kadence cast a shy smile at Saki. The girl was extremely generous for just meeting her and she liked the girl. A slight stirring in her stomach made her heart flutter, but she suppressed it and grabbed both of her new found friends hands and pulled them inside. The smell of sweets was overwhelming once settling in. Kadence shifted her gaze to DAR when he called Sentenza boring. She just rolled her eyes. "He's not boring, DAR. It's just what he wants." Her face twisted slightly as a blush lit up on her cheeks. This was the first time she had tried to stand up for Sentenza. She wasn't trying to be mean to DAR at all, but now that he mentioned it, it was just now hitting that they really could be a potential partner. Not in a long term sense, but could he possibly be a boyfriend? She pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind and pressed her free hand against the cool glass. "Can I get a scoop of Cookies and Cream?" It was her favorite ice cream, even though she didn't normally have ice cream very often.

"Were like a couple Saki, but your not really my significant other like that, that's reserved for..." She cut the thought short since she had what she needed from it. "Why would Saki's feelings be hurt by that?" she asked slightly puzzled, since Significant other was one of the few things didn't associate with a master. "Though, when I was working for that money, I fixed my ship up too, all that's left is parts I can only get in hollow bastion". she replied to his saying he could help. Saki preferred working on her "viper" by herself, since as good as Cid and the two chipmunks were, they didn't understand several of the ships systems.. or how it integrated with Ivy, granted Saki was going to work on expanding how she could interface with the systems if Vine worked out. Saki was a bit surprised when Kade grabbed her hand and pulled her and Sentenza inside. She heard DAR comment on Sentenzaq's choice of ice cream but sort of tuned it out. "I'll have 12 milkshakes, one with that, and that, and a mix of those" continuing till she had all twelve picked out, the owner and counter people looking at her. She felt dreadful and had the urge to just have a lot of ice cream for some reason.

DAR was fast enough to follow and instead collided "face" first with the door, then fall to the ground like a stunned bird. "I'll have a scoop of vanilla." Sentenza said, before going to retrieve the stunned DAR. He stuffed the piece of metal in his pocket. "I'll have to keep in mind that he can be stunned like that for when he won't shut up." Sentenza said. He truly hadn't known that that could happen to DAR. Sentenza blinked at Saki's order. "That's quite a bit of ice cream." Sentenza said, though he knew Saki felt truly awful, not just because he was an empath, but because she obviously wasn't herself. Sentenza then turned to Kade. He had felt a little worry when Saki mentioned her ship, coming from Kade. "I'm sure Vine will be great company once Ivy and I resolve any problems that there may be." Sentenza said, once again twining his fingers into Kade's. "Besides, just ask DAR, I'm not exactly Speedy Gonzales when it comes to relationships."

Kadence blinked, her head tilting back to look at the massive tower of milkshakes above them. It seemed that Saki responded to heartbreak like any other female: indulging in sweets. Kadence wouldn't know much about heartache except for the somewhat experience she had experienced from her father losing use of his arms and some pets dying. She glanced back down at Sen's fingers twining around hers and she smiled even though the lingering thought of hurting Saki's feelings was still there. "Besides, just ask DAR, I'm not exactly Speedy Gonzales when it comes to relationships." The ravenette swallowed and blinked up at Sentenza. Oh right he was an empath. That was definitely something to get used to as the relationship continued to progress. Kade would definitely have to open up more and kick the quiet habit around Sentenza since he would be knowing her every feeling. She gave a nervous smile at the older boy. She licked at the ice cream, catching bits that fell from the cone onto her hand. She took a small bite when she reached an Oreo. It was honestly pretty fun just hanging out with her new friends and eating ice cream. Something kind of normal since the events that had passed within the last few months. [bg=000080] Saki looked over as Sentenza said that it was quite a bit of ice cream. "Well when..." she started but than looked back to the counter and her face went blank. "Never mind". she said, her voice hollow. She had thought back to another master. Well, at least she thought the woman was. She knew nakahito had been hers through kurumi. Ans Sophia had been. But this other woman she had trouble remembering, she seemed like she had been her master, but.. why couldn't Saki remember clearly. Either way, the thought of master, whether it be Sophia or any previous ones she may or may not have had, just made her further depressed. Whenever the other woman she remembered was sad, she had a milkshake or two. She felt absolutely dreadful, so she figured it warranted a dozen or so. She took one of them and sucked it down in a matter of seconds, tossing the sucked dry container into the trash without even looking. She didn't require anywhere near as much oxygen as a normal person, so she didn't have to worry about stopping to breathe when sucking down the frozen drinks. Though, she noticed the employees and a couple other customers other than Sen and kade starring at her once she did it. "What?" Saki said, not realizing that normally, people had to pause to breathe and couldn't suck down a whole milkshake in a matter of seconds. She than heard KAde mention the apartment and looked down at the floor again. She took one of the remaing three in the top drink holder and sucked it down just as fast as the first one. "You two can go into the apartment if oyu want, I'll go work on the ship". Saki said putting some money on the counter and not bothering to wait for change. It was clear in her voice the idea of even setting foot in the place hurt her. Truthfully, the roof was almost as bad since that is where Sophia had yelled at her... and Sen.. and where Sophia had told her she wanted Saki to find a new master. It wasn't a very far walk from the ice cream shop to the apartment building, but once she was in view of it Saki just stopped and collapsed to the ground, sitting on her knees with her legs spread out. She put the milkshakes in their holders on the ground and just sat there drinking them, though, a bit more normal paced then before. She didn't want to go in there or on the roof now, she didn't even want to look at the place, and while she managed to stay quiet, it didn't stop more tears from rolling down her cheeks, landing on the ground and on the milkshake containers.

Whatever brand of ice cream the shop served, or how it was made, it was a bit to sweet for Sentenza's tastes, though he didn't complain, it had been his idea in the first place. "It doesn't matter your reasoning for getting that much. I was just commenting at how much ice cream it was." Sentenza replied to Saki. He licked away a small trail of melted ice cream from the side of the cone and decided to finish his cone before it completely melted away. Soon muffled screams came from Sentenza's pocket as DAR woke up and started freaking out. "Your in my pocket, stop freaking out." Sentenza said. The piece of metal rose out of the pocket. "How the hell did I end up in there?!" DAR asked. "You tried floating through a closed door." Sentenza said. "Oh, so closed doors are a portal to your pocket!?" DAR asked excitedly. "Yes, exactly." Sentenza said in a sarcastic tone of voice. "You're making fun of me, aren't you?" DAR asked. Sentenza merely dabbed some ice cream away off his face with a napkin in response.

Kadence walked along beside the two companions, licking and biting at the sweet cone. It was exactly what she needed to give her an energy boost...and now if only she had pizza. She stumbled slightly and winced when she heard the out interruption coming from Sentenza's pants [>.> xD I had to!]. The teen blinked and glanced down at the floating orb. "You must not like the dark very much." The next course of events made Kadence question if they were ever going to reach the apartment. Her eyebrows knitted together when they caught up to Saki, only to find her kneeling on the ground looking in pretty bad shape. She frowned deeply before kneeling beside the older girl. She had just said she didn't want to go to the apartment. "Well...how about my place. It's just on the other side of this block. We can relax for a bit, then work on the ship." Now that she thought about it, it would be nice to see her parents, freshen up a bit, and relax in her own house....even her own room was sounding really nice right about now. If Sentenza and Saki didn't want to, that was okay, she could find some time to go see her parents later.
