Mako was already at the Sandlot, in which he read in the pamphlet that it was where the town's tournaments are held and gives prizes to one winner. It was called the Struggle, a friendly fighting competition among the youngest residents. Adults were allowed, but seeing young teens battling for the title was more entertaining to see. But despite the grand fight for a trophy to brag about for months, the Sandlot was very large for any other events to occur. If they ever do, a small carnival could fit in the area other than watching violent stubborn kids beat each other until one has the most orbs.
Sighing out of slight disappointment, the mercenary trooper walked towards a nearby bench and sat down, making sure his rifle was taken off of his back before doing so. He observed the open area a bit more, amazed how they were able to have their own tournaments aside from market trades, before he crossed his arms and took a slight snooze. If there was a term for feeling jet-lagged by train, it would be train-lagged. Sure, he met a strange fellow along the way, and he did try to be a bit friendly, but he doesn't trust anyone in Twilight Town and doesn't intend to open up to the residents just because of their friendly hospitality.

Well, now. This had been an, ah... interesting day. This was such a quaint, peaceful little town. Elixean felt it was her duty to liven it up, just a little bit, in her own devious ways. She'd woken up on the very highest peak of the clock tower at sunrise - a beautiful way to start the day, for anyone who wasn't afraid of heights - and then proceeded to jump off the building. Very few people were up at the time, but those who had been granted the misfortune of watching ran up, horrified, screaming. Being a Nobody of the wonderful power of something so simple as breeze, she simply called a rush of wind so that she would land soft as a cat would. The gathered people stared at her, and in a smug manner she spread her hands out and shook them (jazz hands!). "Ta-dah! Magic," she'd laughed, and then she'd moved on, a spring in her step, a spark in her black sapphire eyes, and a flick in her hair that screamed trouble maker.
That's what she was, and she knew it; she didn't fight it. She embraced it. Getting in peoples' hair was what she did. She was good at it. And today was no exception. She wandered throughout Twilight Town all day, and after looking through a couple stores, she decided what she would spend her afternoon doing. She spent about an hour with a fancy camera in her hand taking pictures of herself in the most ridiculous poses. Looking through them, she settled on one of her with a fancy black fedora, her sparkling eyes bright, with her arms crossed and her tongue stuck out. To Elixean, it kind of reminded her of the "XP" face that you saw in text messages. After she'd settled on a picture, she went to a poster shop. She made five hundred posters with a caption that displayed: "ELIXEAN - the epic deviant of the worlds!" Five hundreds posters in hand, each ready to be glued to a wall with just a pull of some adhesive protection.
She walked around, smacking them on every wall, shop, bench, post, and face that pleased her. After a while, however, she grew bored; she took one hundred of the papers and tucked them between her elbow and her hip, then threw the other papers up in the air. With one stomp of her foot a breeze shot up from where her foot landed and out in every random direction, scattering the papers all throughout Twilight town. This lovely noon had come upon Elixean quite slowly. She had only one poster left to place, and she wandered through the streets, searching for the most inconvenient place that she could possibly place it. The posters had been raining down the entire day, amusing Elixean every so often. This one last poster in her hand needed to go somewhere epic. She came upon the Sandlot; she looked around the open space, and instantly her eyes focused on a lonely man with his eyes closed on a bench.
Mmm, what a handsome man, Elixean thought. Instantly she struck off towards him, hips swinging. Oh, he was going to hate her thirty seconds from now. She stopped just in front of the bench, hands on her hips and her head tilted slightly sideways. Wow. What a drag. The man was sleeping. She'd change that. "Hey, wake up!" she shouted at the top of her lungs as she leaned forward and flicked him in the ear, an impish grin shining on her tan face as her face remained inches away from his.

It has been a while since he had a good quiet nap, unlike certain locations where there would always be some kind of constant noise and he was forced to stay awake. It felt nice, for once, to not worry about any type of danger in Twilight Town. The heartless activities in the world don't seem to be very active, though of course the brochure would never say such facts. But even breaks like these never last long, as he soon found out by hearing someone shout loudly next to his eat, then inflicting a small jolt of pain to reassure his thoughts that he wasn't hearing things.
His reflexes jumped right at the moment of the yelling, grabbing his rifle and aim the barrel right next to the person's head. Next his other hand jumped out to grab the intruder's neck, legs shooting out to wrap themselves around the foe. When everything seemed awkward from a far perspective, Mako was doing everything to keep the enemy right where he can easily take the person's head off, regardless of who it was. But once he opened his eyes to see the last seconds of who he was about to kill, his whole cold expression loosened a bit, but not by much. With his own eyes he saw a young woman, or rather a young girl. Her eyes sparked energy and, as he loosened his grip on her neck, has a trickling smoothness on her skin, something Mako has never felt for a while - mainly never.
But this didn't stop him from letting her go easily, the rifle ready if this turned out to be a low-grade trap. "Who are you?" He asked cautiously, giving her a hint that he wasn't fooling around. When it came to women, he once thought - back when he was in a military group - they could only trick a soldier and lead them into a trap, or secretly kill them when they don't know it. But when he was guarding a POW, he had to fight off a powerful and athletic spy who carried sub-machine guns. In the end, he killed her, and along with the POW when the man tried to kill him during the fight. So either she cooperates kindly, or there's gonna be trouble between them already.

Well, it had kind of turned out the way Elixean had expected, and yet, at the same time, it had turned out entire the opposite as she had expected. Sure, she meant to annoy the guy, but she hadn't exactly expected him to retaliate in such a life-threatening manner. He shot to awareness as soon as the words had left her big fat mouth and grabbed the gun that Elixean had been so oblivious to when she'd approached him and screamed into his face; the next thing he grabbed was her throat in a vise-like grip, which very much stunned and surprised the Nobody. Fast reflexes - wow. His legs shot up as well and wrapped around her, holding her still, or so he thought, but she was a Nobody, and her life was threatened, and this dude had just freaked her the hell out. Of course, as soon as he opened his eyes he seemed to have noticed his - er - mistake, and though he loosened the tightness of his hand, he did not release his grip entirely. There was a coldness in his eyes that was actually rather stunning to her; normally it took a little more than a first impression to get people to hate her like that.
Being that Elixean was terrified of being restrained, a quick yelp escaped her and her body suddenly fizzled into nothing but Darkness that disappeared as nothing but breath-like wisps in the air; she teleported just out of his reach in an instant, leaving him without a nearby target to shoot at. Still, she wasn't a coward or an idiot, and she sure as hell wasn't going to leave when some dude had just pulled a gun on her - oh, no. She was going to stay because, although she was pretty sure he would shoot her at any given second, she wanted to be social and a trouble-making pest, because that's what she was. A trouble-maker. Just as his cold voice asked her name, she grumbled, "God, man, do you pull a gun on every girl who comes and flicks you in the ear just for their own devious amusement?!" Then, suddenly, the spirited grin was back on her face, and she said between her sharp teeth, "Oh, yeah, sorry for cheating out of your trap, by the way. I've got a thing about being restrained... it doesn't turn out good for either of us, so you should thank me for getting out while we both stood a chance." She let out a deep breath, a little less way, and she replied, "My name's Elixean! And you aaaaarrrreee...?" Oh, classic Elixean. Getting a laugh out of a life-threatening situation.

He was ready for retaliation. He was ready for her side of the story. But despite all of this, he was ready to disappear and let his trails scatter from a windy day. Of course, it doesn't look like Twilight Town gets windy days, breezy would be a better term. The girl in front of him could be a spy from some random group or coalition, aiming to take out soldiers like himself. The reason would be unclear, but that's usually how Mako's gears roll whenever someone takes interest in his presence - or those who decide to just chat with the man. Then he would play along in the little chatting game, planning out a way to have the person away from his or her group to trap the person in his hands and question them with or without force - though force works well when he throws the punches and asks countless questions.
But when he trapped her - the blonde woman who somehow escaped - he made sure she couldn't have called for backup, or at least that's what he hoped at the time. But since she's now loose, he didn't waste time on wondering on what she would throw at him. He huffed his breath as he flipped himself over the bench, placing his rifle above the rail as his eyes never left her. Elixean... a Nobody, no doubt. But shouldn't she be the one who's aggressive and try to end his life? So far, she seems to be a naive woman who's not a fan of violence. It may be a bonus, but that didn't mean he should start dropping his guard. "From what I've seen so far, you're a Nobody with dangerous abilities." He spoke once she was done talking, not answering her questions as he quickly looked around for anyone else listening to their conversation; unsure when it started to rain posters. He then looked at her, examining her features from top to bottom, making sure he would at least catch a wire or a radio or some device that granted someone to hear from a long distance. Wait, posters?
He looked up and snatched one of them, the protection still on but that was beside the point. He flipped it over and saw her name with a ridiculous statement. Just who was she as a Nobody? This kind of act and her ability to disappear do not go hand in hand. "Why are you here, exactly?" He asked, more of a demanding tone but he can't really turn hostile on her - minus the part where he's actually aiming a rifle at her in the first place.

The man's initial response to her teleporting without warning out of his iron grasp was a heaved breath and sudden movement in which he flipped himself over the bench, using it as sort of a shield-barrier-thing. Elixean held her hands out in sort of a "don't shoot!" fashion, stepping back so she could dodge away or teleport or do anything needed to not get totally destroyed by this guy. He set his rifle on the rail of the bench, a burning look that Elixean couldn't read in his eyes that were so firmly fixated on her - she doubted an explosion two feet away from him could take his attention away from her. Then again, if there was an explosion two feet away from him, Elixean was sure he'd find some way to blame her and kill her - well, if the explosion was just a little one. Like a pop-it. The man didn't seemed to be ready to trust her, especially not since she'd so quickly and easily escaped his hands. The man ignored her questions and growled instead, "From what I've seen so far, you're a Nobody with dangerous abilities."
This puzzled Elixean. She stood up straight, a furrow in her blonde brows and an over-exaggerated purse in her lip as she thought of what she'd possibly shown him that could make her more dangerous than - say - a Dusk. She voiced her confusion. "What do you mean, "dangerous abilities"? I'm not exactly denying that I have dangerous abilities, but come on, man. I teleported." She brought her finger up to her mouth and made a popping sound with it, then twirled her finger in the air, a classic sign that, from her, meant "big whoop". She put that hand on her hip and mumbled, "The only one here who's visibly dangerous is you; I mean, for heaven's sake, you're the one pointing a gun. I flicked your ear, and so I get shot. How the hell is that fair?" Though Elixean knew she had a point, she didn't want to press on for fear that he'd get tired of hearing her talk and just shoot her in cold blood. She was pretty sure his blood was boiling now, however, as the posters began to rain from the sky. She crossed her arms irritably over her chest as he snatched one and she watched his reaction as he read it. He was puzzled.
"Why are you here, exactly?" Elixean laughed. Cool! An excuse to be a smartass! "Well, see, I'm here because my heart was taken by the Heartless, but I was stronger and more awesomazing than anyone else on my island, so I became a Nobody with the power over breezy things and a pathological fear of being held still or tied down." Why else would she be here? She shrugged slightly and she thought of a better answer that would likely suit him better. "I'm in Twilight Town because I got bored of everywhere else and I wanted to jump of the clock tower and scare people. I'm just mean like that. I got bored, so I made posters, and you were sitting in the exact spot where I wanted to place one of my last posters. So, because I'm mean like that, I flicked you in the ear and now you're pointing a gun at me." She looked up thoughtfully, as if reading words on a television screen. Then she returned her gaze to him and nodded. "Yup. I think that's it."
