Hey, this place looks like it could be fun! There was a rush of a shadow and a flick of long blonde hair, the sound of feet sliding against coarse sand and dirt, as the lovely, lanky Elixean skidded to a halt behind a corner of the wall in which the bazaar was contained; what a wonderfully crowded place. So much was happening: black sapphire eyes darted back and forth like minnows in a flurry, trying to take in all the sights of this parched, foreign world. She didn't know what it was about this place, but just glancing around she knew she could have a lot of fun here. Indeed, there were goods and unimaginable bits of merchandise everywhere, a lot of which she had never had the pleasure of seeing before.
And then, there were the people. Her bright platinum blonde hair and cold eyes would certainly stick out, but more than that were her clothes - Agrabah didn't seem like a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" type of place, nor did they seem familiar with the concept of jeans, tennis shoes, and tanktops. Quite the contrary; the gentlemens' shirts often rarely resembled shirts, but vests, and baggy cotton-like pants with patches and holes and scrapes and stains, but no one seemed to care about being proper - oh, no. Elixean could see the shifty eyes and all the crazy haggling or bartering - which term was for pirates? - that was going on, all the sneaking and the creeping and the conning - was that the word? - and she found that she could fit in quite easily.
She glanced up, hearing the sound of a breeze as it beat against some clothing; she squinted her eyes as the sun peeked from behind the articles, and then as they settled she smirked. "Bingo," she hissed in her very characterized cackle, looking about for a way to reach it. They hung from a thatched roof up above, held down by a clay pot. Though she could easily grab a stone and chuck it so it would fall - since it was clearly a female's clothing and that was precisely the disguise that Elixean needed - she knew that it would be much too loud and would attract attention of the guards. And what better way to disguise yourself than to stick out like a sore thumb?
She turned, back pressed to the wall, and looked up once more. Well... it's not that high up. She brought her fist to her palm and pressed them so the knuckles popped, and she repeated for the other knuckles, then flicked her hands out and stared at the wall across the alley. Here goes nothing! She ran at the wall and then threw herself high into the air, a rush of wind shooting out of her downward-facing palms that shot her up higher, and as she slowed she allowed her feet to gently touch the wall, settling against it sideways, and then she sprang from it backwards, flipping and touching the wall to face the ground. She jumped again at the opposite wall, pivoting on the ball of her foot so she faced the window beneath the clothes that were just across from her. She shot off the wall and landed light as a bird on the windowsill, grabbing the garments up in her arms and then jumping into the room.
The sight that met her caught her off guard; there were several ladies in the room, all dressed in garments quite like what she'd just stolen. They stared at her, slightly startled, and Elixean stared blankly back like a deer caught in headlights. "Oh, ah, sorry, ladies. I just needed these... for... a bit." They didn't reply, so Elixean rolled her eyes. "Ugh, fine..." She strode into a room with a beaded curtain and undressed and redressed hastily, noticing the curious eyes peeking between the shades, and she stepped out adorned in dark purple garments that most of the arabian noblewomen wore. Elixean half frowned as she stepped out into the light, wishing she had a mirror to examine herself with, and then she looked at the ladies. "Sorry for stealing. I'm certain worse has happened!" With a half-hearted salute she turned and leapt from the window, landing lightly in the dust below.
Feeling it safe to walk into the open now, she walked around the corner and into the bright and bustling bazaar. Hundreds of shapes moved around her, and very few eyes settled upon her - not that she minded, she didn't seek attention for her beauty anyways. She quickly found her place in the crowd, looking at everything she could see as they swept her along; a carivan with a lovely collection of domestic felines caught her eye for only a moment, and then she continued on her way. After that, nothing seemed to peculiar. That was, until she came upon a sight that caused her to frown while all others washed on uncaringly - a child held onto a small golden tabby cat, and a swordsman stood menacingly over her. Elixean slipped through a gap in the crowd towards him, close enough to hear the words spoken.
"You filthy little rat," he barked as he snatched the little girl by the hair and shoved her to the ground, "I'll have your head for stealing!" In his other hand he clutched his sword and pulled it from its loop along his belt, and Elixean strode up, calling out fiercely, "Sir, you unhand my child this instant!" She stepped between him and the girl, her eyes blazing. "I ought to report you to the Sultan for abusing your power," she cursed him hatefully, and for a moment he was taken aback, but then he recovered and made a move for the cat which the girl still held.
"Miss, your... your -filth- stole from a carivan. The punishment for stealing is severe in the Sultan's bazaar." Elixean raised her chin and replied in a dangerously low voice, "Then I shall pay you." Suddenly her hand swung up and caught him sharply against the cheek, and she shouted, "You are never to touch my daughter again, do you understand, or so help me I will have you thrown off the palace walls and hanged!" Something in her tone seemed to stick and the guard mumbled a hasty apology, rubbing his sore cheek, before he turned and hastily moved on through the crowds. Elixean crouched down and faced the child, a smile on her lips. "Don't worry, that mean old bully's gone now," she cooed. "Be more careful, alright? And take good care of that cat, you almost lost your life for it." The girl nodded and stood, turning and running through an alley nearby.
For a while Elixean stayed crouched where she was, and she looked around, wondering how many people had seen the spectacle. It didn't matter. She stood and brushed off her pants, looking for an opening in the crowd for which she could join the flow again.

[bg=005F80][atrb=border,0,true] [atrb=cellspaing,0px,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=width,490px,true] This was beyond dangerous. Only four times in her life had the Keyblade Master heard of people moving from way Realm to the Other. The first was her own trip to the Realm of Darkness, a freak accident that she hoped never to repeat. The other three where Ansem's trips, and they sounded more like miracles then anything else. So when Ansem approached Aqua with a new suit of armor, one that let her traverse even the darkest pathways between the two Realms she was skeptical at best. But somehow the sage convinced Aqua to make the trip through the most dangerous Lanes Between.
And now Aqua was almost at the end of Lane, she honestly had no idea where it was going to lead her. But she could feel it, the warmth. It was a scorching heat, but she could already feel the warmth of the sun breaking through the portal. Aqua couldn't help but smile despite her grim situation. The feel of the sun was something she hadn't felt in six long years, however it was eleven years since her disappearance in the Realm of Light. When they first met Ansem explained to her how the two Realm's time passed differently.
Aqua's grip on her keyblade glider tightened, she could feel her armor breaking apart. Her glider was a simple platform with a long pointed spike in the front, and a ten foot bow held horizontally in the front. Her armor was cruder then she liked, however it was built with in the past few weeks by Ansem with the scarce resources he could find in the Realm of Darkness. He only had enough for one suit that could withstand the dangerous paths between the Realms of Light and Dark. But he failed to tell her it would only last for one trip.
With a loud twang noise a piece of her armor was torn off her body, forever lost within the darkness. Aqua looked backwards towards the piece as another flew off, this time a leg piece. The keyblade master gulped as she felt the darkness start to claw at her flesh, it wanted her so badly after the six long years she eluded it. Aqua's thrusted the throttle forward as far as possible. She wasn't going to fail know, she had too save Terra, and Ventus. With every foot Aqua moved, another piece of armor flew off. She screamed out in pain as the darkness clawed deeper into her, causing streams of blood to flow from her new wounds.
Then she was free. The light consumed the area Aqua was in as the last of her armor flew off, the darkness seemed to retreat back to the shadows, terrified of what the woman could do in her home field. Aqua squinted as the bright light filled her eyes, it's been years since she even saw a sun let alone it's light. The woman looked down. "Oh shi-" she muttered as she noticed she was about to crash into some sort of plaza.
The woman flipped off her glider, and with a flick of her wrist the machine disassembled her self only to reform itself as Rainfell in Aqua's right hand. The woman dived downwards, knowing exactly what to do. As she grew closer to the ground she pointed her dark blue keyblade down at the ground. "BLIZZARD!" she cried out. An icy blue orb shot out from the tip of her blade, crashing into the sand.
Seconds later a pillar of ice shot upwards. Causing the denizens of Agrabah to move backwards in shock. They pointed up at the woman in the sky and whispered to themselves, wondering what the heck she was doing.
Aqua held her keyblade downwards, causing the tip of it to crash into the ice pillar. The collision of the two forces drastically slowed down Aqua's fall, although her arm felt like it was about to fall off. With a twist of her body, and a flip, Aqua landed in front of the crowd. The people simply stared at her, their jaws a gape. Her clothes where tattered, and torn. They looked like thy haven't been washed in a while, and she wasn't the most smelling pleasant person. Even those not attune with the darkness could smell the darkness on her. Scars covered her body, and some of them where open. Blood flowed from a few of her arms. But she simply stood there, calmly staring back at the crowd. Her crystal blue eyes measuring their power.
Aqua's eyes where perhaps the most terrifying part of the woman. They didn't look too human anymore. They looked like they belonged to a beast. A beast that went to hell and some how came back in one piece. Aqua uttered a curse under her breath aimed at Ansem. Now she needed new armor, and to save the mans arse. Without his special armor it would be impossible for her to get back to the Realm of Darkness.
As she was about to make her way into the still stunned crowd one the guards foolishly stepped in her path. The gruff looking man was terrified of the woman that just fell from the sky, but he had a duty to do. "Halt! State your name and business!" The Guard said in a strong voice.
Aqua eyed the man. Before saying in a voice as rough as the ocean seas, "I am Aqua. The last keyblade master."

She had only gotten it a few days ago in Traverse Town and she hadn't taken as much time learning about the aircraft as she probably should have. The entire ride was shaky and turbulent and it was a miracle that she didn't crash land somewhere. She was quite glad that the little ship had a semi-auto setting. If not for that, there's no telling where she would have ended up. Of course, even a safe landing didn't mean she knew where she was. She had only recently learned about other words, so she didn't know any other than Traverse Town so far. Well, and her home world but it had been destroyed. But that meant this world was something completely new to her, so she had no idea what to expect when she left the ships cockpit and headed into the desert. 'And why a desert anyway?' Not that she really had the right to complain. She had chosen to land here, after all. And she could see walls not too far from where she was. That most likely meant there was a village or something there. She grabbed her Tracker from the cockpit and made sure it was working. It wouldn't do if she couldn't find the Gummy Ship when she was ready to leave. Once she made sure the red dot was on the device's map, she went to put the Tracker in her pocket. Only to find that the pocket wasn't quite where it normally was. Looking herself over revealed that she looked like a dirty street kid. Ragged cloth clothing and no shoes. How had she not noticed that she didn't have shoes on? And when had she been changed anyway? She ended up shrugging the thoughts aside. She put the Tracker in the pocket of her ragged pants and used the Gummy's remote to lift it a good ways of the ground before setting it to invisible mode. She couldn't have someone stealing it, after all, now could she? She headed off towards the little Kingdom in the distance. It didn't take her as long as she thought it would. And when she made it, she found that there was no gate guarding the entrance. There were a few guards, but they just looked at her like she was trash and went back to minding their own business. She had to admit. It sort of bothered her. Once inside of the city, she wasn't quite sure what to do. There were a lot of people moving about in the streets and none of them seemed to care in the least when they bumped into her. She ended up in the bazaar, where a lot of commotion seemed to have stirred. She pushed her way to the front of the little crowd to see what was going on. And she found a woman confronting a guard about something. 'What's everyone so worked up over?' She was completely unaware of the events that had happened before her arrival. She didn't know anything of the crash landing or the little girl that had been threatened with death. It was probably a good thing, otherwise she might have ended up leaving this world before actually exploring it. As it stood, she was curious about the place and planned to look around. | sail through an empty night IT'S ONLY YOU AND I WHO UNDERSTAND, THERE IS NO PAIN 580 WORDS tags TAGS ... Blue, purple, black and green.
The dots popped in and out of her vision as Kadence stared wide-eyed at the sun. Sitting in the middle of the sand, head tilted back, she probably looked like the local village idiot staring at the big fiery ball in the sun, but they wouldn't understand unless they knew where Kadence came from.
The dark-haired teen hailed from Traverse Town, a city of eternal night, the only sources of light were neon colored and the blanket of stars permanently positioned in the darkness above.
Her eyes stung and burned, tiny trails of tears traveling down her pale cheeks, but this did not stop her from keeping on staring. It was truly one of hte most beautiful things she had ever seen. It was just as Sora had described, bright and beautiful....and well she didn't really remember what he had said. It had been about a week or two since she had disappeared from her home world. After tumbling into a Kiaxi's hole of darkness, she found herself in the strange world of Wonderland. Having almost suffocated in the darkness, the Nobody had saved her, but then it wasn't long after she was whisked away to another world. This one to be exact.
Kadence wasn't exactly sure how she had gotten here, but she was so entranced by the beautiful object above. So fascinated that she didn't notice the sand storm brewing just moments away.
Agrabah was notorious for sandstorms. Some of them weren't that bad, and the walls did a great job of withstanding the windy sand tornadoes, but sometimes they were bad enough to get inside the city and do damage, such as filling the town with loads of sand.
Some nearby yelling disrupted Kadence's reverie and she blinked and let out a yell at the pain that erupted in her skull. She fell back, clutching her eyes. Once the burning had subsided somewhat, Kade managed to sit up and blink. Black orbs widened at the approaching storm. "Yah!" she cried as she scrambled to get up. Her Converse kicked up the dust, and she struggled to get sure footing before she took off towards the city gates she had seen earlier. A few minutes later, her back slid down against the cool stone. It was cooler than the outside seeing as the sun was not bearing down on it. Kadence scrubbed at her eyes and blinked before groaning and laying her head against the wall. The teen perked up when more shouting drew her attention.
Kadence's lips quirked slightly as she pondered about seeing what the commotion was about. She might as well explore the world anyways, since she was here. Pulling her hood of her black hoodie, she made her way down a side alley way before coming to the bazaar.

Post by Rune Veliospirus Ravencroft on Mar 9, 2011 21:35:00 GMT -5
It was the first time in a couple weeks Rune had been to a different world. After his run in with that Luna woman, it had taken a few weeks to recover... but then again, that was more his fault for using that power longer then it was intended for him to use it. The white hair might of helped in the hot desert, something he was never fond of, not to mention how bright it was. The one problem being born someplace with so little sun.. well, that was visible to him anyway, he was so used to those dark woods for life that all these worlds seemed very bright, and here, his sunglasses didn't stay when his outfit changed.
But he couldn't complain about the change, he rather liked it. He wore a pair of Dark grey pants that were fairly baggy and tied at the ankles, and a dark grey long sleeved top just like any of the locals as well. Unlike them though, he also had a black cloak, with.. well to him it was a hood, but he was unsure what the locals called it. He just knew it sort of kept the sun out of his eyes, and that normally, only his face was visible.. and well his hands as well.
But after seeing the conditions some of the people were living in, and the treatment of them by these so called "guards", that didn't last. He pulled up a piece of cloth from the head covering and all that was visible then was his now pale green eyes, and a couple strands of his now white hair after the battle with Luna. The quality of the clothing in this world, he could have been confused for a prince or someone well off, hell, on his home world, he had actually been a prince. But you'd never know that because of how he acted and what he decided his job here was. It had been going well, but the guards had gotten wise to him stealing their money and that of some of the more wealthy residents. He had done this on his home world too, and stealing had become second nature after spending his younger days eluding his grandfathers personal guard and assassins. So when several of them started chasing him, it was certainly not something new.
He ran down the crowded streets dodging in between people, jumping over or onto stands, getting to rooftops, and still they persued. They must have been used to this. As he got to the bazar there was a large crowd of people blocking the way. perfect he thought with a hidden grin, jumping up and springing off the wall. On the other side he landed on top of another guards head, pausing as he saw the blue haired girl. Is that the other Aqua she talked about? he thought, knowing the black haired one had mentioned she wasn't sure she was the real one, and this girl looked almost exactly like her, other then she looked like she'd come out of hell.
"Stop thief" one of the guards yelled as they tried to push through the crowd. He finally pushed off the guards head, which shoved his turban down over his eyes further and landed on top of a stand a few feet away amidst a crowd. "You roam these streets bullying the poor and weak, denying even children the right to survive while taking absurd amounts of money and items for free and you call me a thief?" Rune shouted in reply, opening the chest that contained all the gold. There were two small pouches at his waist line that had the gold coins he had intended to keep. "I say we share the wealth." Rune added, starting to toss the coins amongst the crowds. "I'll have your head boy!" their leader shouted, Rune still laughing as he tossed the coins away, trying to make sure only those who truly seemed in need were closest. As he jumped from stand to stand, he noticed a girl that was clearly from off world like himself, though she only looked about fourteen. He grabbed one of the pouches that had found ts way into the box and tossed it in the direction of the girl with the hood and sneakers. "You may want to buy some clothes to fit in, these people didn't seem to like outsiders even before I got here." he said before taking off again, tossing the box to the side as he dispersed the last coins.
He landed in the middle of the bazaar, as well as in the middle of three large and rather unhappy guards. "Don't suppose we can just talk about this?" he said, one of the guards swinging at him. "Guess not." he said, swiftly dodging their blows and staying on the move, occasionally landing a punch or kick to the guards. They were bigger, stronger, and physically tougher, but he was a lot faster. But it only added to the ruckus of the other guards trying to get through the crowds to him.

Elixean was used to seeing random events pop up right in her path. After all, she was a Nobody - a traveling Nobody. Nobodies were always faced with peculiar events and such. In all her existence - because she obviously couldn't say life anymore - she had met her fair share of strange fellows and countless odd wenches on the side of the road and sometimes even right in the middle of a busy city such as Agrabah. She didn't always go looking for trouble and weird encounters, yet they always seemed to find her. She didn't mind it, because she'd absolutely hate to get bored in some world, but sometimes it seemed that too much happened. Like now, for instance, as a blast of ice and a collumn of the same material shot up from the middle of nowhere in a crowd of citizens.
Elixean stood quickly, getting her game face on. She wasn't really a hero or anything, but if she could save the day then she'd like the attention. Still, she wouldn't be too hasty; for all she knew, really nothing was happening. Just some child knocking over a magic lamp or trying out a spell for the first time. A woman with blue hair fell from the sky with a sword of some sort in her hands, crashing through the ice and then skillfully tumbling over to land in front of the crowd on the solid ground. Elixean, facing her back, could see very little of the woman; however, the citizens in the bazaar had terrified stares on their face. Then they seemed to back up as a guard made his way through. From the angle she was at, Elixean could see he was as terrified as the rest of them, but she was amused by his game face. Eyes could never deceive.
She listened carefully to the conversation as it occurred, and she raised an eyebrow. Keyblade? What the hell is a Keyblade? Slowly, Elixean made her way towards the woman, feeling as though she were the bold one now, but after a moment of thought she changed her mind and stayed in the shade of a carivan of exotic rugs, deciding to instead scan the scene more. It seemed that, now that something exciting was finally happening, people kept gathering and the already crowded bazaar grew more and more cramped. Elixean tried to look for anything else peculiar besides a woman crashing down from who knew where, and sure enough she spotted it, or them, a man with white hair weaving through the crowd as quickly as possible and, hidden a short distance away in an alley, a girl wearing a hood - which she knew was not native to this place.
Elixean half-smiled. Cool. I think I'll go check out what that man's running from. She didn't have to move to see it; several guards were rushing after him. She now grinned fully, eyes brimming with excitement. She took off quickly, bare feet lighter than a feather as she skirted the edge of the crowd, keeping her skilled eyes on him and watching him, following him; a break in the crowd allowed her to twist and turn and dance through until she was running just inches behind him, her platinum hair whipping out behind her. She called with a laugh in her voice, "Hey, why you running?!"

A group of rather angry looking guards where chasing him. The Guards where far larger then the boy, and looked much gruffer. They reminded her of the giant Heartless that she fought so often until her escape. The woman knew she had to intervene.
The Keyblade Master bolted towards the boy, leaving the guard who was talking to her seconds ago speechless. Never before had he seen a woman run away from him like this. Then again he never saw a woman fall out of the sky before. The nimble warrior easily wove her way through the crowd who parted their way before the woman with the strange, and exotic weapon.
It took only a few moments for her to catch up to him. Aqua spent years master the art of running the hell away, and it seemed to work as well in the Realm of Light as it did in the Realm of Darkness. The woman stood in front of the boys path, and pointed her dark blue keyblade at him. "Stop." she commanded. Although she set out to help the boy, she had to make sure that he wasn't the one in the wrong.
"Why are they chasing you?" Aqua asked. It was a simple question, one that could easily be answer. Six years ago Aqua would have helped the lad without a question, but now she was much more wary. She feared being betrayed again. So she had to know what the boys motives where, even if she could feel the light being emitted from the boys heart.

The most notable, and the only one she actually payed any attention to, being a white-haired boy running from quite a few guards. She heard him yell something about fitting in before tossing a little bag of coins into the crowd not far from where she was standing. She wasn't quite sure what was meant by that, as she couldn't see anyone aside from the blue headed woman that didn't fit in with everyone else. She herself fit in rather well with quite a bit of the population despite looking somewhat dirty. Her clothes must have reflected the poorer side of this place's people. She ran out into the clearing, which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, and had to dodge past the guard that was still standing there. As stunned as he had been at the blue-haired womans departure the surprise was wearing off. He even made to grab her, yelling out "I don't think so filth!" She, being somewhat small, managed to evade his hands as she ducked back into the crowd on the other side of the little clearing. She had joined the chase. Or, rather, she had joined the runners. It was questionable, actually. She appeared to be chasing the boy with white hair and running from some of the guards. Which was somewhat accurate, actually. Though she wasn't out to catch the boy or anything. No, she was actually interested in finding out what, exactly, was going on. And what better way to do that than catch up with the white-haired boy and ask him. It was pretty easy for her to move through the crowd, easier than she might have thought. The people parted just enough for her to squeeze by, probably because they didn't want to be rammed to the ground. It wasn't long before she had caught up to where the boy was, now in the presence of two other females. "Hey, why you running?!" "Why are they chasing you?" She could barely hear either question as she moved closer, throwing her own words into the mix. "Anything I can do to help?" No. She wasn't looking for trouble at all. At least, that's what she would claim when she told the story later on. So, what was she doing? She was simply being curious and offering to lend a hand to a cute guy who just happened to be running from a bunch of guards. No, no trouble at all for her. Yet anyway. | sail through an empty night IT'S ONLY YOU AND I WHO UNDERSTAND, THERE IS NO PAIN 442 WORDS tags TAGS ... The crowd gave the man in the black tux a wide berth, along with some poisonous glares. He obviously didn't belong. Nathaniel parted the way with his bo-staff, gently pushing people out of the way if they dared to step in any closer. His suit couldn't be dirtied by commoners such as these, and if he knocked someone out of the way too harshly, they might try to fight him, and he didn't want to waste his energy. In this city, bigger fish needed frying.
The heart of this world had been locked, but he wanted to test a new method with the Heartless to see if they could pass the lock the Keyblade put in place. He highly doubted it, but if it worked, he needed to know and be dressed for the occasion.
"Hey, street rat!" He stopped and glanced from beneath his top hat, a small smile sneaking on his face. This might prove fun. He hadn't had fun in quite some time, mostly because he wasn't in the mood. What to say, what to say? While he planned his words, the accuser became impatient. "Rat! I'm talkin' to you!" One of the plants grown in this world flew past his head, missing him by an inch. All of his amusement vanished. The man, a guard as it seemed, just crossed the line.
He ran up with his bo-staff behind him, sweeping the guard's feet out from under him. A slam to the arm that held a sword, another to his shoulder, and the guy was on the ground. The smile returned to Nathaniel's face. "I realize I am not picture perfect, but I know that I am better than you. You have been assigned to protect something, haven't you?" The glint in the man's eyes answered his question. "How are you supposed to protect it if you cannot defeat an outsider such as myself? You might as well quit now." He knew it would do nothing to change the man's attitude immediately, but over the course of a few weeks, it would gnaw at him until he broke down. That was the point. He laughed and walked away.
The guard ran off, probably to collect reinforcements, but Nathaniel didn't care. The heart of the world resided at the Cave of Wonders, which was all the way across the desert, so he had to begin the trek before nightfall. Suddenly, a woman shoved past him in pursuit of a boy that ran away moments before. He readied himself to attack her as well, but then he saw her hair. That shade of blue belonged to only one person: Aqua, a Keyblade master and ally of the light.
"What luck," he muttered under his breath, spinning around on his heels to follow her. "I am allowed two people to play with today. One of them is an enemy. Wonderful!" Two other females joined Aqua, but he didn't care about them, just his prey. He'd make sure she knew him by the end of the day.

Kadence never liked getting involved in world affairs. That was one thing Sora had explained to her when talking about his travels when they had trained together. Not to meddle in worlds affairs, but trouble just seemed to find her at the worst times.
The first train of events that pulled her into the world was the strange boy randomly tossing out coins. Kade's dark eyes widened and she flinched slightly at the small pouch coming her way, but her quick reflexes allowed her to reach out and catch the pouch open-handed. He quickly disappeared. She caught the trail of his words, saying she might want to buy some more clothes.
Kade glanced down at her attire. Nothing was particularly wrong with it, but now that she thought about it, she didn't quite fit in. But shopping would have to wait as one of the guards trailing after the boy had caught sight of her with the pouch of money. He quickly narrowed his eyes, shouting something about getting the thief. The teen looked down then shook her head. "No! I'm not a thief!" she exclaimed, but the burly man was already charging towards her.
Kadence's eyes widened. She quickly twisted around before darting off and turning down an alleyway. Finding a pile of crates, she hopped on them and sprang onto a flat roof top. To keep moving was her best option, and obviously it was the best option for a lot of people as more people could be seen running through the bizarre. Kade quickly dropped down into the crowd of watched the peculiar events.
She had barely just missed Aqua falling from the sky. She was preoccupied with getting some clothes. Throwing the pouch on a table, mainly cause she didn't want to be caught with it, plus she needed clothes fast. She quickly grabbed the first thing that caught her attention, a pair of purple clothes. Grabbing them, she felt the texture was very soft, making her like them even more.
Just a few minutes passed and Kadence had slipped into an alleyway. Folding up her clothes and tucking them in her bag, she quickly dressed. The silk against her skin was soft, but she quickly found that it was two piece outfit, exposing her mid-drift. Kadence sneered slightly, but quickly slipped her sneakers on--she would not go anywhere without them--and ran back into the streets.
A dark blue-haired girl caught her attention, with two other females, as well as the white-haired male. Kadence quickly made her way towards them, just to see what was going on. She did'nt really plan on getting involved, but her dark gaze landed on the strange weapon. "Keyblade..." she whispered and slipped through the crowd, taking advantage of her small size. She brushed up a man, only noting for a man that he looked strangely out of place in his suit--and wondering if he was hot in that--but she only noticed him for a minute and barely brushed her hand against his bo-staff to get some leverage and push through the crowd.

Rune managed to get past the guards, but one of them had gotten close enough with the sword that it cut the more or less hood he had, and left a scratch on his face at the cheek, but wasn't deep enough to draw blood. He pulled the hood down since it was obscuring his vision anyway and pulled the part over his mouth down. Ash e started to sprint away again, he had the feeling of being followed, and first noticed a girl with platinum blonde hair Ask why he was running. Not only was he surprised she could keep up, he was surprised to see such a hair color here. Then again, his new natural hair color didn't exact blend either.
Before he could answer her, something caught the corner of his eye and as he looked forward again, saw Aqua in from of him, pointing a keyblade at him. "Shit" he said, throwing himself onto his back and digging a hand into the sand, finally coming to a rest with his feet inches from her own. He had way to much momentum even for his size and he couldn't stop on a dime. The last thing he wanted to do was impale himself on a keyblade. He didn't think she could move that fast though, nut then again, she was supposed to be smart so maybe she found a shortcut. Hopefully one the guards couldn't take.
He then turned his head and noticed a girl with blonde hair younger then the other two, dressed like any of the other poorer people of the world, asking if she could help. But the blonde hair gave away that she must have been from off world. He pulled himself back from under Aqua's keyblade, brushing the sand off his clothes and looking to see where the guards were. They were having difficulty enough way far back in the crowd as it was, but many of the people in the rags they called clothing were being less then cooperative about letting them past to get to the boy.
"Well it seems I have a little time, so I can at least give you the not so short version." he said, turning back to the girls. "As you can see, I'm not from this world, mine was destroyed a few years ago and didn't return. I came here from radiant garden to check it out, been here a couple days, and have seen this particular group of guards be absolutley brutal and ruthless. Denying even children the right to do what is nessecary to survive, I've stopped them from chopping the hands off or executing dozens of kids younger even then her." he said, pointing to the younger blonde, "And thats just that age group, the merchants pay them up, and htey wont even spare a piece of fruit or loaf of bread just so a kid or a family can survive. and back to the guards, even the ones who are kind enough, they bully them into giving them stuff for free, or money for "protection", so even those that would gladly spare some food to feed a poor child with no family or food to survive, that have to live on the streets, can't give them anything without making it that there own family goes hungry. So, since these guards have their little extra source of income that they shouldn't have, and are so cruel to everyone, I liberated some of their excess gold, which they have no use for other then to sit around by the way, and redistributed it to the people who really needed it." pointing to an area of peasents with a couple orphans and a whole family, excited to have enough to actually buy something to eat from a vendor. "There chasing me because they don't have as much excess, while people like them are happy just to have a petty fraction of what they get payed by the sultan." he finished, looking back to the three girls.
Yes, in a indirect way, he was admitting to stealing. But he was stealing from crooked guards that were stealing themselves, and giving what they stole to the people who really needed, the poor who had next to nothing to survive and were lucky to even have the rags they wore. That now, they could by a meal instead of stealing it themselves. The line between right and wrong, good and evil, light and dark, for Rune, they blurred, it was not about what it was, but how it was used. Yes, stealing was considered wrong, even by him, but he was stealing from people that were stealing, and who had a gross excess and could afford to part with it, and giving it to people who truly needed it. He was doing something wrong to do something right, he never stole from anyone that couldn't afford to take a loss.
"Way I see it, those people I spread the gold to, they have to steal just to live, they have nothing, those guards, their stealing from those who can barely have anything, and deny even children the soul right to live. I'm helping those who can't help themselves for one reason or another. I admit, my methods aren't the best, but they work. Things seldom change on their own, they need a push. So, you can side with those guards who steal from the poor and abuse the poor and children, and are overall crooked, or you can side with the one who stole the gold they stole, and gave it to people who really needed it, entirely up to you." he said, checking to see the guards process, which was still hindered by locals that were siding with him. He didn't want to fight these three girls, and while he didn't really want to fight the guards either, he knew that was inevitable. Not all the guards were like them, but he had only target the ones he knew were in on it, and had no problem fighting them, granted he'd be sure to avoid lethal force. "So, will you help me, maybe change things a little for the better of the poor here, or are you going to side with a handful of guards angry I took their ill gotten gains?" he asked, wanting to know if he had to deal with them first then the guards, or have help dealing with some guards that should have been arrested long ago.

Elixean was running - running, running, what with all the damn running on this world? - but she enjoyed it. She had always been a great runner, even as a Somebody. She was athletic, acrobatic, agile, fast - and about to crash into the white-haired man. In her amusement with chasing him, as though she were Alice and he were her white rabbit, she'd focused only on his white hair and noticed none of the surroundings. Indeed, she was being trailed by many other people; the blue-haired girl, for one, sprinted along with an even greater speed than Elixean had imagined possible by a human, and another girl with blonde hair dressed in so-called "street rat" attire.
The blue-haired girl had appeared, suddenly, in front of the white-haired boy, and he stopped hastily, and Elixean, in her haste to catch him, had very little time to react. She let out a soft yelp, stumbling over the boy who'd ducked to avoid the sword-thing - had she called that a Keyblade? - that was aimed directly at him. He dodged, and Elixean, ever so attentive!, tripped, rolling through the dust. Skidding across the dirt on her belly for a bit, she coughed and yelled, "Ow! Shit, give a little warning before you cut someone of, will you?" She pushed herself up nimbly to her feet, a little embarrassed by her lack of stopping skill. She brushed off her outfit, frowning slightly at the scrapes on her stomach, but they would heal with time, as would the sand-burns on her elbow.
She turned, an indignant look on her face, and watched the white-haired boy who began to speak, glancing once or twice at the blue-haired girl and the other smaller girl. The irritation quickly faded as the boy explained himself. She refrained from shouting out, "You're like a freakin' Robin Hood!" simply to save him some humiliation. Then he requested assistance in his amusing endeavors which lead to guard chases and, in the end, the safety of people. She threw her fist up in the air and laughed, "Yeah! Let's go wreak some havoc!" She laughed even harder, then grew a bit more serious, a deviant look lighting like fire in her near-black eyes. "Now, tell me, what's your name, squid? I'm Elixean. Queen of epicness and all things awesome."

WE'VE LEARN TO RUN FROM ANYTHING UNCOMFORTABLE WE'VE TIED OUR PAIN BELOW, AND NO ONE HAS TO KNOW
[bg=005F80][atrb=border,0,true] [atrb=cellspaing,0px,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=width,490px,true] Aqua's lethal gaze was locked onto Rune made his speech. It was cute for a little boy that didn't understand the world. Through out the entire speech there was only thing she could think of. 'You can not fight darkness with just light. For light only casts more shadows.' It was something Cinderella's Fairy God Mother told her when she was attempting to aid the woman. And when she first heard it she had no idea what it meant, without light how could you fight the darkness? But after traveling through worlds and witnessed the darkness first hand she understood what it meant.
With a tumble the Nobody came into Aqua's gaze. She her gaze quickly shifted to Elixean. Reflexively Aqua stenched out her senses to feel the womans heart, concerned about her statement about chaos. And what she saw there, or rather what she DIDN'T find there, shocked Aqua. The woman had no heart. "I apologize, I should have thought the repercussions of my actions first." Aqua said, trying to get a feel of the strange girl. Perhaps she was one of those Nobodies that Ansem told her about. Her voice was as calm as the ocean, and far wiser then most people her age. Her ocean blue eyes moved back to Rune. "I have to ask you to return what you stole." The woman replied to his little speech, she had no sympathy for people such as Rune. Sure, she may have been in the Realm of Darkness for the past eleven years, and this was her first trip to Agrabah, but it was the same on every world. And she could all ready tell the boy did not understand his own actions.
"With your own theft you have only made the situation worse." Aqua paused, carefully thinking her next words. The Keyblade Master continued to point her weapon at the boy, with no intentions of letting him pass. She wished she could impart the same wisdom upon the two that the Fairy Godmother gave Aqua. "By stealing you have only added to the cycle. The villagers are not the only ones that require food, water, and shelter. In a place such as this," Aqua paused, quickly looking around the dessert paradise. "Recourses such as water are scare, and highly valuable. The Guards need to support their families. And with every theft the Guards need to purchase more themselves, or else their own families will starve. And you can say the same for the merchants. With every left they lose hard earned money they spent on product, and they need that money to be able to support themselves. So by stealing, your light has casted a shadow upon this town. And in the end you caused more harm then good."
Aqua exaimined the boy, looking for a reaction before she repeated the line that the Fairy God Mother told her years ago. "You can not fight Darkness with Light, for Light only casts more shadows." The woman repeated. It was a sentence she ran through her head many times during her time in the Realm of Darkness. During her speech, Aqua did not notice the strange man with the bo staff. He didn't really stand out that much in the crowd, and the Keybearer's attention was focused upon Rune and the girls that accompanied him.

She wasn't sure what a 'Keyblade' was but she imagined it wouldn't be fun running into it. She took a deep breath when she came to a stop, watching as the platinum blonde took a tumble.
When the boys speech ended, the other blonde was the first to comment. She introduced herself rather flamboyantly before the blue-headed woman spoke up. Now, Zoe wasn't one to steal but she also understood where the boy was coming from. If the guards and all had so much extra money, why not give it to some of the less fortunate people of this place?
Yeah, it was wrong to go around stealing but he was trying to do something good. She could see that. Not that she agreed with the way he went about it, per say, but she also didn't see what harm his actions could do. Besides, he had just said the guards had a bunch of extra money. If that was the case then they had enough to feed their families and plenty of excess that could be put to good use in the hands of those that actually needed it.
It was only after the last part of the blue-headed womans speech that Zoe really thought hard about what was going on. She didn't understand what the womans words meant but it did make her think more about the actions that had taken place only moments before.
It was wrong to steal, even for a good cause. Two wrongs didn't make a right, after all. So stealing back what was stolen originally wasn't right. "There has to be a better why to do things." Her voice was a little on the quiet side but she was sure they'd be able to hear her, "Stealing might make the guards treat the people even worse than they already do."
She still wanted to help but she wasn't a thief, no matter the reason behind it. It might have been different if she really needed food or something but she didn't. And as much as she wanted to help the people here who had nothing to eat, it wasn't her place to meddle with the way things were done. Not by stealing. If there were some other way that she could help, she'd jump on it. But she couldn't think of another way. She had never been in a situation like this. It was all so new to her and she couldn't help but wonder why she was even trying to get involved any. | sail through an empty night IT'S ONLY YOU AND I WHO UNDERSTAND, THERE IS NO PAIN 470 WORDS elixean, aqua, kadence, rune, nathaniel TAGS ... Nathaniel stayed a few feet back from the Keybearer and the white haired boy, watching the events unfold. No need to rush into action just yet, especially since he had no idea who these other people were. As he waited for a chance to enter, a girl in purple pushed against his bo-staff, not enough to make him lose balance, just for leverage it seemed. He contemplated following her and messing with her mind, but Aqua took prevalence over an inconsiderate kid.
Once Aqua stopped running, Nathaniel slipped into a shadow close enough to hear the conversation, the crowd providing a nice cover. The white haired boy nearly impaled himself on the Keyblade, the blood that would have stained the blade of light if he did a nice mental image, but he wasn't going to be so lucky. The kid fell back and ended up at Aqua's feet, then gave a long speech about helping the poor through stealing from the rich despite saying he gave the short version. Nathaniel grinned. The day couldn't possibly get any better. He had already made sure one person would be less than alright, he had found a Keyblade wielder, a Keyblade master even, to destroy, and now a child who sounded easily manipulated sat vulnerable. He hadn't felt this happy in a very long time.
A blonde girl came next, nothing more than a little brat to Nathaniel, a wild card who would find herself in deep trouble one day. Aqua's statement interested him more. Yes, the sole thing light was good for, casting shadows, the one thing he made sure happened before he turned the light dark. He had caused more than one person to corrupt their actions so much they stopped being helpful and started being a burden.
"You cannot fight darkness with light, nor light with darkness," he murmured to himself. He learned that early on. No one corrupted because the darkness appealed to them, not even Nathaniel, but because the light had ceased to become something beautiful. One needed others to see the light as something to be despised, not that darkness was something to be loved, although he would go either way.
He heard the newest person that joined the group, a young blonde girl, but she didn't interest him either. Her motives seemed too pure to change, unlike the boy's. He decided that now seemed like a good time to introduce himself. He stepped out of the shadows and parted the crowds with his bo-staff, ignoring the guards that kept trying to push through. Now, he needed to impress the boy, so no insulting Aqua immediately. He strapped his bo-staff to his back and took off his hat in a respective manner, keeping his eyes on the boy. He couldn't live with bowing to a Keyblade master.
"Hello, my name is Nathaniel Williams, though you may call me Nathaniel if you please. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Perhaps I could prove to be of some assistance?" He smiled and replaced his hat. He would be no more formal or pleasant in front of Aqua, so hopefully his performance was enough for the boy.
