Rules
There won't be too many rules concerning the Tournament, it's in place for fun and to help make your characters stronger while receiving munny and other prizes for working so hard.
[/blockquote]
1. To sign-up, post in the Sign-up thread that your character would like to enter the tournament. And please don't forget to mention which Battle Level you'd like to enter at [at the moment every one will be entering at the same level; 0-3. Due to the fact that no one has reached levels higher than 2 yet.] You can also join the Tournament with a friend or two. You can have a party go in with you, or you can enter alone, the choice is up to you.
2. After your name has been added to the list you may post a thread in the Tournament subboard and then you'll need to wait for someone in charge of the NPC account to post in your thread and start your battle. There will be 5 rounds of Heartless hoards, the only healing you'll be able to do is with magic and items. Your HP and MP won't automatically restore itself after each stage of battle, so you'll need to stock up on potions if you don't want to get K.O'd and kicked out of the tournament.
3. You won't decide the fate of your enemies. With each post the NPC makes, they will give you an update on not only your enemies HP but yours as well, so be sure to pay close attention to that.
4. Each stage you'll receive a small prize, or maybe a little munny for defeating the Heartless. If you make it to the end of Battle Stage 5 you'll receive a much bigger prize and will have the opportunity of entering the next tournament--which will be against your peers rather than Heartless. After battle stage 5 your HP and MP will be automatically restored for you to head on to the next level.
5. If you get far enough to be pitted against another member then please remember not to god-mode or power-play during your battle or you will be disqualified. We will notify both of you through PM to inform you both of who your partner is. After every two posts [So, YOU post and then your PARTNER posts] the NPC will post a quick update on each of your HPs so you can see where the battle stands. You get to choose whether your opponents attacks hit you or not, but please remember to play fair. You can't dodge every single attack against you--you'll need to take damage too.
6. If you win against your partner then you'll get to go on to the next round and fight against another person who has won against their partner. Please keep in mind that it might take a while before others get to this level in the Tournament, so we'll notify you when your next partner is ready for battle.
7 The overall winner of the Tournament will not only receive a prize, but they will also get a medal [or a ribbon, I haven't decided yet] which can be displayed in their inventory so that other members will know that they're a tournament champion. There can be many tournament champions, not for the same battle phase, but overall there could be 5 different people who have won the tournament over different spans of time [if that makes sense.]
