STRENGTHS: Donald is a powerful magician, has great accuracy, and great stamina.

WEAPON(s): Mage’s Staff
APPEARANCE::
Donald dons royal robes in shades of blue, with details of yellow strung across his shoulders, all clad with zippers that are questionable in his use. Donald is never seen to wear pants, nor shoes. Donald is rarely ever seen without a hat of some sort. When Donald is not wearing his royal clothing, his casual clothing is similar to that of sailors, together with sailoresque shirt and rounded, flat hat. And when Donald is not seen wearing any clothing at all, he can be defined as a new duckling – his feathers are all completely white. His bill and webbed feet are an orangey yellow. When Donald travels to other worlds, his appearance may change slightly. For example, when Donald travels to Atlantica, his bottom half takes on the form of octopus tentacles, aiding him in swimming. He also loses all other clothing. While in Halloween Town, Donald is entirely wrapped in bandages, resembling a mummy. He also wears no other clothing in this form. Donald is not much a fan, at all, of looking sloppy – part of this can be contributed to him wanting to impress Daisy, or to look like a million bucks.
PERSONALITY:
Donald Duck is, above all else, an aggressive, short-tempered fellow. He has a low tolerance for insults and is known to impulsively counter either physically or verbally. Donald is also easily excited, and because of this can be quite the chatterbox. And although patience is a virtue, Donald is a firm supporter of instant gratification; if he doesn’t get what he wants when he wants it, he is sure to quack out a storm. Greed is probably Donald’s biggest means to cloud his judgment; despite how frustrated or aggravated Donald may get, those two traits would never allow him to completely abandon all other thought than a diamond just within arm’s reach.
Despite his seemingly negative attributes, Donald is loyal to his comrades. He is especially loyal to King Mickey, and his wishes to protect the wielder of the Keyblade. And, of course, he is incredibly grateful for his friendship with Goofy. Goofy is very much Donald’s other half, and wouldn’t know how to handle himself if Goofy wasn’t around.
HISTORY:
It all began when one day Donald went to see King Mickey in their place of residence that is Disney Castle. Only, he found that in the King’s place lied a letter held by Pluto. He read it, discovering an explanation of the King’s absence, and ran to share the news with Goofy in confidence – unsuccessfully, as Queen Minnie and Daisy overheard. Now residents of Disney Castle knew that the King had left to study a new darkness that was causing worlds to flicker out. He asked of Donald and Goofy to set off on a mission beginning in Traverse Town, in search of a “Key.”
Loyal to their King, Donald and Goofy set off together, along with Jiminy Cricket and Pluto, in a Gummi Ship. In his letter, the King had asked for them to seek out a man named “Leon,” but bumped into a friend of his instead, Aerith. It was after talking to her did Donald and Goofy learn about the situation – the Heartless, Ansem Reports (which were about the Heartless), and a Keyblade.
It’s not until a hoard of Heartless begin to attack the Traverse Town, that Donald and Goofy stumble across Sora in the Third District. They spot the keyblade in his hand, and assume this to be the Key the King spoke of. And after fighting a boss heartless, do they get to properly introduce themselves. Donald and Goofy agree to help Sora find his friends Riku and Kairi as they continue their search for the King.
They embark to many Disney worlds, finding keyholes and defeating vast amounts of Heartless and Disney villains.
When the trio finally find Riku in Hollow Bastion, Donald’s obedience to the King versus Sora is put to the test as the keyblade chooses Riku over Sora. Despite leaving Sora, following the King’s orders and sticking with Riku – the supposed true keyblade master – Donald and Goofy soon find their way back to Sora, realizing the time they spent together and the friendship they formed was too precious to give up so easily. Even though the King’s men are disobeying his orders for a moment in time, Sora’s heart strengthens from the love he receives from Donald and Goofy’s friendship, and soon regains the keyblade from Riku.
Soon after, the trio find Kairi, devoid of a heart. Discovering that her heart is inside of him, Sora makes to stab himself with the dark keyblade Riku left behind, Donald and Goofy trying to prevent Sora from the action. They are unsuccessful, and Sora becomes a Heartless. This moment is especially telling of Donald, as he is one to never grieve, but clearly does over the loss of his comrade and friend.
The grief is short lived as the Heartless Sora finds its way back to Kairi, Donald, and Goofy, proceeding to be returned to his normal heart-state by Kairi. Now back in his original state, Sora seals up the keyhole in Hollow Bastion, and they all set off to fend off Ansem in the End of the World. After a successful battle, the main heroic trio find themselves grappling to seal the final door; it wasn’t until Mickey’s appearance and Riku’s help did the door seal successfully. Unfortunately for both Sora and the King’s men, Riku and Mickey were closed off on the other side of the door. A letter from the King in Pluto’s grasp raised their hopes, and the trio set off for another adventure.
The three’s next adventure lies in the depths of Castle Oblivion, where they are lead there by a mysterious, cloaked figure. Determined that they will find the King and Riku in the castle, they proceed, until they are met with the cloaked figure again. Donald moves to attack the figure with his magic, but falls unsuccessful as he is unable to conjure anything. The figure notifies them that they forgot all their abilities once they entered the castle.
As they delve deeper into the castle, their memories are slowly slipping away. It seems as though, especially for Sora, he’s remembering old, covered memories, but is actually at the hands of Naminé’s manipulation. At first unaware of their loss of memory, the trio soon catch on once Riku reencounters the trio, and seems to be against Sora, yet again. Sora, angered, gets into a battle with Riku, and only makes it through with the help of Donald and Goofy. A female wearing the same cloak as the person they’ve seen before is also eliminated. The three are then informed by a sweet looking girl, Naminé, that in order to gain their memories back, they must find and defeat Marluxia. This motivation proves to be more of a necessity, as Donald and Goofy even proceed to forget about their beloved King. The three are sure, however, to promise their eternal friendship to each other, no matter what happens to them or their memories.
The trio encounter Axel, a figure whose been haunting them during their entire quest in this castle, and defeat him. Their next and final opponent, Marluxia, falls at their hands as well after defeating a replica. The ending is bittersweet, as Naminé then encapsulates the trio in memory pods, and they fall asleep…
… Donald and Goofy are the first of the trio to reawaken, Sora soon coming out of his rest as well. They find themselves in Twilight Town, where they meet three natives, Hayner, Pence, and Olette. The new awakening is not entirely pleasant, as they’re met with Nobodies, as well, but King Mickey comes to their rescue. He’s seen wearing the cloak of the Orgaanization members, and the attire is questionable to his men as out of character. Yet, being respectful of Their Majesty, they obey his further orders to go to Yen Sid.
The train from Twilight Town takes the three to him. Donald is especially ecstatic with the opportunity to see Yen Sid, as he is a great spell caster Donald admires. Yen Sid informs the three of the new creatures they encountered, the Nobodies, and steers them into the direction necessary for their journey.
Along this journey, they go through many worlds, relocking doors within them. Eventually they find themselves in King Mickey’s presence again, and are torn against his orders and remaining loyal to Sora. They disobey the King’s wishes when they are asked to leave and not worry about the mass of Heartless in Hollow Bastion, and fight alongside Sora. This battle leads to Donald’s moving to extreme rage when Goofy appears to have died, but fortunately is unharmed by the battle’s end.
The heroes are transported to a Twilight Town, where they meet Axel again, who this time battles alongside them. They witness his sacrifice, and his demise. They flee through an entryway to the World that Never Was, and are then reunited with Kairi and Riku, whom they do not recognize due to his darkness-submerged appearance of Xehanort. Xemnas, the leader of the Organization, decides that he’s had enough of the Keyblader’s meddling, and faces the heroes in an attempt to save his dream of harnessing the power and potential of Kingdom Hearts. He fails to withstand the heroes’ might, but as Naminé conjures a portal for the hearts of light to escape through, Xemnas musters enough energy to close the portal before Sora and Riku are able to escape, forcing them to face him one last time…
Donald and Goofy are able to reunite with Sora at Destiny Islands, where they are waiting for him with Kairi. Soon after, the King’s men return to Disney Castle. Donald is met by an endearing hug – instead of a harsh scolding – by his love interest, Daisy Duck.

“Khwhere did that blasted dog go?”Donald stamped down the majestic staircase of Disney Castle. With a furrowed brow, and an irritated stretch of the bill slapped on his face, he scanned the great room from his height in search of His Majesty’s dog, Pluto. He’d call him a mutt at the moment if he could, for how aggravated he was, but he feared the King had mind-reading abilities that he kept secret for his own benefit. And he was in Disney Castle – the walls he lived in were magical and alive – anything could hear a word he said, and oh where the gossip would go…
“Pluuuuuutooooo!”Donald quacked,“Pluuuuuuutooooo!”
“Everything all right, Donald?”
Donald jumped and lost his balance, tripping and tumbling down the final few stairs. He fell at Daisy’s feet, who stood at the foot of the stairs. Quickly and clumsily, he pushed himself to his webbed feet and fixed his jacket.
“Oh… khwell, khello, Daisy…”
“Why do you need to find Pluto, Donald?”
“Khwell… you see…”Donald shifted his eyes, still in search of the happy-go-lucky pet. There’s no way he could tell Daisy the real reason why he was looking for Pluto. That Pluto was the main suspect in who may have run off with his surprise gift for Daisy. He had gotten her a new bow to put in her hair, as her current one was getting tattered in her feathers,“I, uh… Pluto!”
A thin, black wagging tail was sighted wagging in a not-so-distant doorway. Hearing and responding to his name, Pluto poked his head out in inquiry. His joyous and naïve gaze couldn’t have contrasted the irritation failing to bottle inside Donald’s being. In his mouth, Pluto held an unraveled ribbon, now sopping with slobber and matted with stains.
“Rrrghhhh…”Donald grew tense and rigid, clenching his fists, trying to maintain composure in front of Daisy as best he could. But let’s face it – Donald is not one above his temper.
“Donal—“
“Wwwaaaahhhhh!”he let out a hoarse yell, and sped off toward the oblivious dog, hands clawed out in front of him. Donald sputtered and spat and blabbered so quickly, he was incoherent, even to himself. Even if he had his staff on him, he wished he could let just a small bolt of lightning strike the conductor that was Pluto’s tail without getting in trouble. Surely, the King would understand…
