Weight: 135lbs
Hair Color/Style:
Face Claim: Ayumu Narumi from Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning
Brief Overview:
Shou stands in around 5'7" and weighing only 135lbs, which is slightly underweight for someone his age and height. It's not that he doesn't eat, because he definitely does [he tends to go a bit overboard when cooking and will end up making way too much food], his body is more toned and lean from all those years he spent in gymnastics and playing soccer and various other sports around the island.[/left][/size]
His skin is lightly tanned, no doubt from growing up on an island in a tropical climate. Shou's got a messy mop of chestnut hued hair, styled in a disarray of spikes that seem almost reminiscent to that of his grandfather's trademark mess of spikes [although Shou's aren't quite as prominent as Grandpa Sora's were/are].

Weapons:
Spear - His initial weapon upon starting his adventure. Shou wasn't exactly sheltered, but since they'd been living in peace without any interference from the darkness no one had thought it necessary to train him in the art of battle. He's a little clumsy at first, using his lithe and agile body to his advantage. His spear, which he calls the Dragon Spire, is collapsible and able to fold up small enough to fit into his pocket when he's not using it and the blade portion of it can easily be dismantled [but, like his Grandfather, his clothes tend to have rather large and deep pockets so he doesn't really need to detach the blade part for the most part]. It was the first thing he could find when he found out that he was needed elsewhere to help save the worlds from the darkness.
Keyblade - Received later on in his journey, the Starfallen Crest is the name of Shou's keyblade. Despite it's appearance, it's attacks are light-based, a light-weight weapon that complements Shou's own speed with it's quick and nimble attacks.
Overview:
Shou is one of those boys who's too dense to realize that someone's showing interest in him, he's usually a little too preoccupied with his thoughts, often finding himself lost in a daydream of some grand adventure. With that said, he's not completely oblivious to the feelings and advances of others, it just takes him a little longer than most to realize that someone is being flirtatious/showing an interest in him. Though when it comes to his own feelings, well...if he likes you then you'll definitely know. He tends to go out of his way to watch out for people that he cares about [or people that he's just plain curious about]. If he's curious about you then don't be surprised to find him following you around [discreetly, of course! He's stealthy and wouldn't let himself get caught unless he wanted you to know that he was there]!
He's definitely not lacking in the intelligence department; his grades in school were always above average, making him the top of his class 2 years in a row. His family often jokes around, saying how he got his smarts from his mother's side of the family since his father's side [and especially his grandfather Sora] were known for being doofy and...not very bright.
Shou is usually pretty easy-going and laid back, preferring to avoid confrontation for the most part, using his logic to solve problems rather than his strength. Though one sure fire way to piss him off would be if you treat him like a child--he absolutely hates being underestimated and treated like a kid.
He's kind-hearted and is willing to help those who're in need [much like his grandfather]. Shou is also quite skilled in the kitchen and loves to learn new cooking techniques, once he's mastered a new recipe he tends to invite everyone he knows over to taste his creation; while they're enjoying his meal, he's feeding off of their praise and compliments.

Homeworld:
Overview:
Shou was born and raised at the heart of Destiny Islands, growing up quite used to the busy life that accompanied living in a city infested with tourists 365 days a year. He would often frequent the private beaches of the Play Island just off shore with his friends to play various sports growing up--it was the only stretch of beach that they could go to that wouldn't be littered with sunburnt tourists. It was a sort of safe haven for the native Islanders that went back several generations apparently--his father and mother used to play there, as did his Grandfather Sora and his friends back when they were young.
Shou grew up listening to the wild stories and ramblings of his exuberant and eternally child-like grandfather, Sora Hiroaki, who would tell the young boy stories of great epic battles, inky black creatures that stole people's hearts, and inter-galactic travel. Shou thrived on those stories, but he also new that that was all they were, stories that his grandfather had fabricated to entertain his grandchildren with. Even though he realized that ,logically, the things that Grandpa told him were impractical and improbable Shou would always humor the eager old man.
When he turned 6 his mother and father both enrolled him in gymnastics classes, feeling that it'd be a great source of exercise and the flexibility he'd gain from taking gymnastics would come in handy later in life.
At the tender age of 7, Shou's mother and father went through a nasty divorce after his mother was discovered cheating on his dad. Shou's father gained complete custody over his son and the two remained on the Islands while Shou's mother moved far away, never even sending her son so much as a birthday card or a letter--it was as if she had never existed in the first place.
After the divorce, Shou's father was sort of a mess--he'd work long hours just to support his son and then sleep all day when he was home. That was around the time that the young boy began to pick up cookbooks and measuring instruments and taught himself how to cook--not just for himself but so that he could make breakfast for his father in the morning before work. But before any of his meals were deemed worthy of his father he would always call his friends over to be the taste testers once he mastered a new recipe and if they gave him the 'okay' then he'd make the meal for his father the next day. He looked up to his dad and feared disappointing the man, he just wanted everything to be perfect.
In addition to taking over the position of 'housewife' [cooking and cleaning!] he also started taking his school work a little more seriously. Without his father around much to tell him to get his homework and chores done he decided that he was grown up enough to do things on his own without receiving help. By the end of the year Shou had turned around his standing in class and was now, as the teachers referred to him, 'one of the brightest students we've ever taught'.
At the age of 13 he quit gymnastics and started getting more involved with soccer and swimming. Being a native islander he was already a pretty decent swimmer so he worked to refine the skill, developing well-toned muscles coupled with his high flexibility. He was known as one of the 'cool guys' that nearly every girl wanted to get to know, unfortunately for them he simply wasn't interested in relationships. Shou was always friendly and polite but when it came down to it he was still more preoccupied with making his family proud.
Despite the fact that he was a strong swimmer and skilled in soccer, he never joined any teams even though he was often confronted by the teams' Coaches. He only played for the fun of it whenever he had time or needed a stress reliever. However, he was more concerned with academics.
As a child his mother would read him her old Sherlock Holmes novels, which was probably where his affinity for logic and mystery came from. Despite the fact that he tried to push thoughts of his mother and her abandonment of the family far from his mind he found that little everyday things would remind him of her and his childhood, before his family was broken. He never told anyone of his worries and fears, his father was absent from most of his daily life and he didn't want to worry his friends or have them feel obligated to comfort him to try to give him advice, so he kept things bottled up and put on a happy, carefree facade.
Shortly after his 16th birthday some strange things began happening around the Islands and he wasn't the only one that noticed how tense everyone's grandparents seemed to be getting...
