Weight:140 lbs
Hair Color/Style:White, when it's not cut a bit shorter it tends to be fairly spikey.
Face Claim:Toshiro Hitsugaya
Brief Overview: Rune is not very tall for a guy. On his home world the average height for a human male was roughly 6 feet. But even with elf blood in his veins there's plenty else to offset and is short only until compared with full elf relatives. He also has a rather small frame as well all things considered, but he does have some muscle at least, namely from running, climbing, and fitting himself into tight spaces. So while he may not be mr. universe, he isn't at all flabby either. At one time about 50 or so years ago his hair was brown and his eyes a dark green, but he ended up over using a unique ability that ran in his family, lightning the color of his eyes a bit and turning his hair pure white. His complexion is relatively balanced, though leaning a bit more to the pale side usually.
As for his wardrobe, Rune now tends to where primarily black and white. Most commonly is a black long sleeved and legged outfit from his home world, similar to ones worn in the east and temples since it offers far more freedom of movement than other clothes he has, seeing as he likes to be fast and flexible. Over this he wears a primarily white sleeveless haori, That has black diamonds and circles at the bottom. On the back is written a eastern character, often by others assumed to be the number ten. While accurate on most worlds (and partially on his), the reason for it within the thicker black diamond is more symbolic than being the number ten. Though resembling the number ten it's intended to be as a compass pointing to the four corners, representing how after his world returned, he was made ruler of his entire home continent. Despite all this he has a tendency for his old ways and will wear a dark grey or black cloak to cover it all and his face, since he has made people on other worlds angry (mainly corrupt and evil people but still), which given it hides his face with the hood up and covers his outfit (not to mention the way he moves in general and sticks to the shadows) he is often mistaken for some sort of villain, though because of the cloaks style no longer as a member of organization 13. [/size]Likes: His sister, his Grandmother, his friend Talim, Misao's company, helping those in need, punishing those who do wrong.
Dislikes: His uncle, the heartless, being told his way is wrong, those who harm others, fish.
Strengths: Fast, smart, quick thinking, agile, lot's of experience
Weaknesses: Somewhat arrogant, can be hot tempered, girls
Weapons: Fallen angel (dark) keyblade: A keyblade that is actually one of a pair, Rune wields the dark keyblade while his grandmother wields the light. Both blades look exactly the same, with the grip looking as if it has angels wings, having a slightly longer than mid range reach, And at the top, what almost looks like wings again with a heart in the middle. When put next to each other, they are the same shade of silver gray, but the heart at the top, and the split section of the shaft, which are divided into half black, and half white, are reversed.
Sapphire rain - A keyblade given to him by Sapharee before she passed on after taking several attacks meant for him. It's got a medium reach much like Fallen angel, and is colored close to a sapphire color. It's much more a "twilight" blade than his "Fallen Angel", however that being said, he hasn't really mastered it and after once again being summoning his own, the blade has become even more temperamental than before, not always coming when he wants or needs it.
_______________ - A blade that has been passed down through the ravencroft family for generations (despite mosts unnaturally long life), in it's most basic form it seems like a basic two handed sword, but on the shorter end. However, other than being a strong sword itself, it changes shape to match what best suites it's wielder, assuming the sword deems them worthy. In the case of Rune, while duplicating his keyblades appearance, it very often changes it's appearance, seeing as it's wielder is not suited to any one type of weapon.
Overview: Overall he may be rough around the edges, but he’s a good guy. Sometimes he seems to float on that border between the light and dark, occasionally going too far in fights. That being said, it’s only ever against the worst of the worst, but still occasionally concerns people. But he always seems to come back far enough. He isn’t the most outgoing person for several reasons, namely that he’s so used to keeping secrets, staying out of sight, and keeping a low profile. If there is a meeting, a gathering, or he just goes someplace to hang out, you usually see him sitting or standing in a corner hidden by the shadows, and usually wont say a word till he feels the need to.
But beneath it all, there is a warm and caring guy who tends to go out of the way to help people. Even if it means putting himself at risk to do so. He’s one of the most loyal friends someone could have, though he’s just not able to trust anyone, at least not fully. Another hold over from his childhood. He can be stubborn at times, tends to be impatient at times, since he prefers to move quickly and quietly. And though she can’t take a fully physical form, when “Toa” as he calls her is out, you can ell she’s kind and sweet, though she can’t actually speak, but when her personality and all influences him, he tends to be much friendlier and outgoing, and less prone to making comments that come off as rude or insulting even if it’s not his intent to do so.

others: His grandmother Hild, His (unbeknownst to him) daughter mika, His aunt Aria (Hilds sister, also his worlds equivalent to death/the grim reaper)
Homeworld: Eternal forest, city of pirth. World is now known as bastion of light and shadow
Overview: One would want to say that Rune had a good childhood, being the son of a king, but than that person would be lying. Up until the time he was six that was the case. He lived in the castle, played with his older sister, and constantly bugged travelers from other lands, and the occasional outside world, of what it was like where they came from. But than one day, he had just woken up, and unbeknownst to his sister and her fathers advisor, and overheard that his parents and their guards had been attacked and killed while returning from another land. His uncle than took the throne, sending the siblings to a house on the outskirts of the town, claiming that it was the safest place incase it had been a attempt for someone to seize control. Yes where they lived was considered strange and dangerous, tribes of wild elves, vampires, werewolves, nymphs, spirits of the dead, and so many more things all in a forest that seemed to cause it to be perpetual night, or at the very least there was never a whole lot of light even on the brightest day. But something never sat well with Rune or his sister, especially seeing as their uncle seemed all to prepared for this. And the only reason he had the throne was because his sister was unable to speak, though she had found a way to communicate through gestures and through magic, namely by having her thoughts appear on a piece of parchment. But still by the lands laws it meant she was unable to rule.
A few month’s later, several soldiers stormed in and took his sister away, and disobeyed their orders to kill him, and only knocked him out. While she couldn’t rule or speak, his sister was still an incredibly powerful sorceress. When Rune awoke, he heard soldiers coming again, and immediately fled into the dark woods. He spent time with some of the elven tribes and nymphs, in which he had to resort to stealing to survive at times, but they at least let him stay for periods because of who he was. About a year or a year and a half later, he finally found himself at his grandmother’s house, since she had moved far away after her husband died. By that time, his uncle had put his sisters powers to use, terrorizing land after land into submission and expanding his territory. He pleaded with his grandmother to make him stop it, but he eventually understood why when she asked if he could kill his sister were it her doing this. At that point in sunk in that while yes, his Grandmother had been the first angel the gods of his world created, that she had been cast down and become a demon, having snapped at humans who had abused their rights with their wishes. They had no say, they were simply created to make humans happy, but the originals had been given emotions, and her being the first, the full powers of any goddess or god. So when she was cast down to spite them, took the others that had sided with her, and also went about her old job, but the humans would have to give up something equal to what they asked for, something that angered the gods and nearly started another war that would have destroyed the mortals realm. But with all this power, with all the people she could ask to do it for her, she couldn’t directly play a part in killing her own son. Especially since he was the last direct link to her late mortal husband. He spent the next few years till he was twelve there, learning how to control magic, though he was far less gifted than his sister, but even without her angelic/demonic blood, he still had dragon and elves in his lineage, and still had potential for it. He had mastered some minor magic by that point, or at least by his grandmother’s standards, but his uncle was getting wise to her harboring him, and he couldn’t have the rightful heir to the throne breathing when he came of age to take over in one short year.
His grandmother was made aware that he was sending soldiers to her house to come deal with the problem, and chose to send him to the one place she knew would be somewhat similar to home, and that he may be able to learn to fight and protect himself. The trip was rough, even though it was only mere seconds, the shock to his system having never actually gone through before caused him to pass out. Some time later, he woke up to a young girl that was about his age looking over him and asking if he was alright. He hadn’t seen any village near the place when he looked around and said he was for the most part, to which the girl simply replied “The winds guided me to this spot, they said I’d meet a boy who needed my help as much as I would need his.” He was slightly perplexed by the statement, but decided he had nothing else to really lose by falling her as she walked off and told him too. She finally decided to reveal her name was Talim, after she had convinced him to reveal his, Rune having kept his name secret since he was 6. For some reason, he opened up to this girl and her family about everything that had happened, and not only did they believe him, they took him in. He trained with Talim, though there were breaks when she had been sent out to investigate two mysterious swords, that he was held back from initially because they thought he wasn’t ready, and later because his drive for vengeance became clear and that the darker sword was trying to get him in his grip as its new host. IT didn’t matter, because he snuck away anyway, and to their surprise, managed to overcome the calling for absolute power, saying that while his methods may not have been considered those of a hero or of the light, that he would never use such a dark and terrible power to obtain his goals. His grandmother was impressed when she visited, namely that with how much he hated his uncle he wouldn’t sink so low, and that he could keep up with the nimble and quick girl. Though, with all she had done for him, his grandmother had enough power on this world to slow the girls aging much the way Rune’s was naturally, because she knew he would need her around to keep him on a somewhat more straight line. But around his 23rd birthday, she came back and said he had to return, and that things had taken a turn for the worse. She told him a man in black had visited his uncle, and promised not just the power to take over their world, but others as well. He left by himself, Since if he failed, Talim may have needed to protect her own, and as soon as he came back, the strange creatures she spoke of attacked them. Only because of the weapons magic qualities was he even able to hurt the creatures, and he did his best to get to his uncle. By the time he managed to get to the castle, his uncle had become totally consumed, and the whole area surrounded by heartless. As he fought his way through, everything started to fall apart. The sky grew unnaturally dark, even for their area, the winds stirred up. He was caught up and than…blackness. He woke up in the middle of a place he later learned was called Radiant Garden. Some of the locals took him in and helped him recover, forcing him to stay in bed rather than go look for family and friends. It was faint, but the connection to his sister was still there, his grandmother’s was somewhere near, but somehow different. And while he knew she was on her home world and that it was further away, he could even sense Talim. He was just glad they were all at least alive. Once he was well enough to go out, he found his grandmother, though he learned that on this world, her powers were a mere fraction of their full power. And that she had tried to open a portal for them to escape, but wasn’t sure he had made it in. All she did know was that she saw “his angel” as she called the female spirit come out as if to protect him from the shadows, and that the time difference between when she arrived and when he did was almost a full day. Over time, he learned more of the creatures, about what they were, and how to fight them. He attempted to defend Radiant garden with others, but was forced to retreat to traverse town like everyone else. He’s spent the last years trying to fight them when and where he can, all the time feeling a different power in him, not tied to the so called angel but something else, something that was from the day he can’t remember, save for vague images. His home world was too far gone to be restored, and so when he’s not visiting with Talim, he makes Radiant Garden his home. Other than making it so he’s not too lonely, she will occasionally come out to protect him in a fight from certain attacks, namely if he’s in danger of being killed by it, but it only works on magic attacks, and while she absorbs some of it, the backlash still causes a good deal of pain and can sometimes send him flying. She really can only summon the energy to do it once a day at this point, and Rune has no control as to if she shows up to defend him or not, but he knows if she does come out it’s time to retreat because he’s probably close to death.
-------------
During the final battle, Rune was grouped with several others from his world, dealing with a few villains from his own, but Runes primary focus was still getting to his uncle. That being said he got careless trying to cut his way through everyone else to get to him, and a girl, Sapharee, took several attacks from an old family nemesis called Luna that were aimed for him. It broke Rune's focus as he drug her out for her to get help, but at that point there was nothing that could be done. When she was separated into both Sapharee and Raina, he and raina constantly clashed but as the single entity Sapharee, they got along well. She of course rightfully called him an idiot, but before passing transferred her keyblade to him to use, seeing as in a fight like this his fathers sword only did so much and quite honestly, he was terrible at fighting with one weapon, he had no sense of balance. After seeing this, and feeling yet again responsible for a friends death, he sort of lost his cool, but where he normally was only just barely an even match for Luna, his power actually had increased and he was able to beat both her, and his uncle he had never been able to defeat. Though, he was sure those two would comeback somehow, because they were annoyingly like him, it was hard to keep them down, and neither was human anymore.
But after the battle, things started to look up, when it became apparent his home world was finally restored. The girl Misao decided she wasn't leaving his side, and catered to certain needs of his, though, she seemed only to want a master servant relationship. When he returned to his home, leaders of other countries on the continent (many who had fought alongside him), agreed that while keeping general control themselves, to unite all their flags under his. And things were for the most part peaceful, something Rune had never truly experienced.
But it was far from permanent, 40 years after the battle that brought his world back from the shadows, rumors were that Misao's homeland was having troubles with them again. Rune and Hild both made their way there to find things worse than they feared. Two dark keybearers had taken control of the continent, and the two with the continents inhabitants were too much for Rune and Hild. The two were forced to retreat and while the pair seemed content, they eventually made their way to his continent. At first they seemed like they could hold them, but set back after setback caused the lines to slowly push forward. Rune was determined to fight to the bitter end, not willing to let his home succumb to the darkness, but his sister and others brought him to his senses. This war was over, their was no outside shot at victory, only defeat, only fighting to protect who they could. They got all they could off the world before the dark forces were too close and Rune and Hild used their keyblades to seal the world permanently off. Stranding those that had been trapped on the wrong side of the line and hopefully preventing the spread of darkness to other worlds.
But it took it's toll on Rune. Once again, he failed to protect his home, once again he had failed as a leader, he was supposed to be so powerful and yet he once again was defeated. Once more he felt as if he was the cause of it all, and so as Hild once more settled in in Radient Garden, Rune chose to wander from world to world, doing what he cold to help others but never staying, wanting to avoid ruining another world. And while he desired solitude he never got it, Misao was unwilling to leave his side, and so she and her daughter, who unbeknownst to Rune was in fact also his own from one of the nights where the two let instincts overpower their minds, traveled with him as well.
As those who live so long are wan to do, the three lost track of time as they drifted world to world. Runes melancholy after the lost of his world yet again once more surpressed the use of his own keyblade, limiting him to the use of his fathers sword, or Sapharee's keyblade, "Saphire Rain" which because of his state, and the fact that while given to him, and was not his own, was weaker than his normal one. Misao relied on the faux keyblade, still having great difficulty summoning her own due to her own lack of faith in herself, and of yet, Misao's daughter showed no sign of being able to wield one yet. Which several years after the sealing of their world became a problem. They noticed heartless returning, and there numbers slowly growing. Rune and the others did not want to believe the possibility that the word had been unlocked, that the cause had to be something else. But their worst fears came to be realized when the female of the pair he had locked away showed up while he was gone. Misao and her daughter were unconscious, the dark wielder wanting Rune present for their deaths as revenge for trapping her and her brother on that world for so long. At first Rune collapsed to his knees, on the verge of a breakdown, realizing everything he had done, all the sacrifices he and others made were all in vain. But as the evil woman before him prepared to start her revenge by killing Misao, Rune did something he hadn't done in years-snap. Runes rage got the best of him, albeit not pure rage, which for the first time in years gave him the ability to not just summon Sapphire Rain, but his own keyblade, Fallen Angel as well, and unlike when he had faced off with her and her brother at home, when he had let much of the darkness in his heart pass, the blade was as strong as when he first obtained it. All the feelings and emotions that had given Rune the drive and power all those years ago were reawakened, albeit at this moment totally out of control and on the verge of going over the edge as clearly demonstrated by the fact that when the wings of his other ability formed, they were almost black in color. Not prepared for the sudden outburst and the difference in strength, he was able to fight things to a stand still that drove her off wounded. From that point he's tried to keep things in check, and has been a bit more irritable than he has been the last few decades, but most would agree it's better than him being upset and depressed.
Rune at the time was so wrapped in his anger he had no idea how to heal Misao or her daughter, and in order to avoid him pursuing their assailant, Toa forced him to stop using the ability and forcibly separated herself from him, something the two had gotten better at doing, so he wouldn't have access to any where near enough to follow. Toa was able to heal them, but now able to openly speak in her solid form, was able to tear into Rune for losing control like that. While they were part of the same person (in a matter of speaking) and understood his way of doing things, she felt what he felt, and she didn't like to feel that kind of anger and rage. Rune may have been fine with feeling those emotions but she wasn't and she made it clear. Though, she backed off when it became apparent Rune was already beating himself up over it, not because of how Toa felt though, but because that same recklessness had gotten Sapharee killed all those years ago. Which Toa felt was more than satisfactory enough, her yelling at him about her own feelings were actually more about keeping him safe anyway. She knew very well how careless he got when pushed too far.
