Face Claim: DURARARA, orihara izaya
Brief Overview: Thor is a rather tall fellow who bears a toned athletic physique that's not too hard on the eyes. He has a smooth milky white complexion. Among his facial features include a chiseled jaw, small pointed nose with similarly pointed ears, and two crisp light hazelnut eyes. Dark brown locks, bordering on black, adorn his head in a straight yet slightly spiky fashion.
For attire, Thor wears a long, red leather trench coat. On the shoulders, he wears black shoulder armor over his deltoids. On his hands, he wears a pair of leather gloves that are black in color. Underneath his trench coat, he wears black clothing over all. For the most part, this too is in leather. He wears black leather pants with two black belts with metallic buckles. Shirt, it's unknown if it's short sleeved or long sleeved but it's obvious it's black in color with two straps criss-crossing about the front of the chest. The abdominal region appears to be slightly protected by some sort of armor but thin and lacking of much protection from more serious attacks. Footwear, he wears a pair of leather knee length boots. On his wrists, he appears to be wearing two silver armbands.

Overview:
Insecurity and doubt have invaded Thor's mind, constantly causing him to question his own abilities. Whether he's cooking a meal or in the heat of battle, Thor will always wonder if he has the skills to succeed. In reality, Thor is quite the swordsman, but he would never believe it. If he triumphs in a major fight, Thor will simply call it a fluke. There is one positive aspect to this though; thanks to his low self-esteem, he easily brushes off any insults, probably because he agrees with whatever negative comment they have about him. This means he will not be provoked by malicious words aimed at him or his abilities.
Just because he is doubtful of himself does not make him a depressing person, however. Thor always tries to encourage his friends or make light of a difficult situation, but if the conversation turns to a task he must complete, that's when he'll begin talking in circles and avoiding any sort of answer. When an objective is assigned to him and his friends/companions are depending on him though, he will ignore his self-esteem and complete the task with the utmost determination and loyalty. He will fight with all his strength and skill, never giving up. Thor may tell himself giving up would be easier, but he never will.
This swordsman's reason for excessively training and steady determination is simple; Thor wants to prove his worth to

[/size]Mother: Queen Caelum
Father: King Caelum
Siblings: CAELUM, _____ _____ - sister
Homeworld: Port Royal
Other: Noctis Lucis Caelum (grandfather)
Overview:
Thorin lived a life ignorant of his true heritage. At birth he was kidnapped and whisked away in order to be held for ransom. Little Thor was taken to Port Royal where he inevitably remained for a good portion of his early years. He did not come to live with his kidnappers however, as those villainous scum had been raided by pirates soon after arrival in this foreign world. None other than the "Red Arrow Pirates" had attacked those who had kidnapped Thor. Seeing the baby prince among the cargo, the Captain, Dorian Red, took it upon himself to raise this boy as part of the crew. Unbeknownst to any of the crew, the infant they had welcomed with open arms was not just any little orphan child; he was royalty.
From that day on Thor lived as a pirate would. He scrubbed the poop deck when required, manned the sails, ate citrus fruits to retain pristine dental hygiene and not contract scurvy - and of course, exploring the universe in search of fortune and adventure. Their pirate ship was in fact a gummi ship which allowed them to not only sail on the seven seas within the spectrum of port royal, but the universe laid out before them as well.
Aside from the knowledge he gained from sailing, it was quite necessary, an essential part of the job you could say, to learn how to fight. From the time Thorin could walk he was given a sword to use and master. After all, a pirates life is not all lollipops and rainbows. His mentor, Dorian Red, in contrast to his jolly nature, took up a rather strict teaching style. It was not uncommon for Dorian to force strenuous physical and mental training upon Thor from dawn till dusk. Of course, learning to wield a blade was not all training. There was field practice as well. He'd be expected to defend the ship, and if possible, make sure he wasn't sliced in half while doing so. On the bright side at least Thor was passionate about becoming a swordsmen.
It was not till recently that Thor was forced to leave the only life he knew. The life of a pirate. Their ship had come under attack by heartless. However, at the time only the more experienced pirates, including Dorian, knew what they were. As if that wasn't all, a meteor shower bombarded them. Because of the chaos that erupted from the unexpected ambush, the Red Arrow Pirates had little time to conduct evasive maneuvers. Thorin was the lone survivor that fateful day. He escaped only in the nick of time on an escape pod which took him to the nearest world. With a sunken heart, Thor now travels from world to world in order to carry out his dream; the one thing that keeps him stable.

Roleplay Sample: The sound of gun shots and screaming reverberated off his ear drums as he awoke suddenly atop his hammock. The eerie darkness which enveloped his sleeping quarters gave way to the glow of fire just beyond the half opened door. Wiping the sleep from his eyes, Thor leaped down from where he had moments ago been content to lie in slumber. Another grand shot transpired from the deck above, this time from a canon, which echoed through the stairway down to where he now stood. As if his body was reacting upon its own accord to the madness that apparently took hold of the upper deck, he shot up the stairs in order to see with his own eyes what was amok. Sweat rolled down the nape of his neck as he eased past the flames sprouting up to and fro. The heat plastered against his face did little to ease the tension building up within him.
What lay before him atop the stairs was as a matter of fact exactly what he expected. It was not the first time that they had been under attack. However, the assailants were of a variety he had never seen before. Another variation from this onslaught was that the crew was being overpowered. They had never lost to anyone in a battle before. The Red Arrow Pirates prided themselves on their strength and fortitude. How could he of slept through this horrendous blood bath? He mentally kicked himself. Only a useless nit wit like him was capable of such an act.
"Oi Thor! Get out of here! Save your self!" Dorian exclaimed harshly from across the deck. Thor took it as "Get out of here you'll only get in the way". Which, in his good nature, was going to do in order to not burden his comrades.
Before turning to leave he gazed towards the direction of Dorian's voice and saw his captain sprawled over with a part of the mast sticking through his torso. As incapable as he believed himself to be, there was no way he could just leave his captain to die. Dorian read the expression on Thor's face, which told him that he was not going to leave his captain behind, and redoubled his efforts to convince the boy to escape while he could. However, Thor paid no heed to it and bolted to Dorian's side. "Ill get you out of here! Just hang tight for a sec." Thor said trying to act reassuring.
Instead of further pursuing his efforts to persuade Thor the pirate captain merely looked at the boy with a saddened expression. "Tell me Thor. What is your dream?" Dorian said while coughing up droplets of blood. A bead of crimson red slid down from his lower lip. At the sight of his dying captain Thor fought to hold back tears which threatened to burst free at any moment. Don't talk! It will only worsen your condition." he said firmly, brushing off the question in order to reinstate the grave situation at hand.
A large hairy hand gripped Thor's wrist tightly in an attempt to redirect his attention. "Answer me. What is your dream?" Dorian asked again; this time in a stern commanding voice. Thor was taken back. Realizing that Dorian had little time to spare, Thor entertained his question. it was the least he could do. In a trembling voice Thor responded shakily "Why, it's to become strong. To become a swordsmen that can awe people with his skill and splendor" Dorian smiled weakly in response. "Dream's motivate us to achieve greatness, don't you think?"
A single tear managed to escape Thor's receding will power and rolled down his cheek in defiance. "Yes.. Yes they do." the brown haired boy said solemnly. "Then go. Achieve greatness. Don't let this old man hold you back" Dorian said coughing again more violently than before. Blood splattered on the wooden deck from the force in which Dorian exhaled air due to his hacking. The other crew members were just struggling to fend off the heartless. Meteors larger than the ship whizzed by. They were lucky enough to not of been hit thus far.
Thor shook his head stubbornly. I can't leave you here! Father please" Thor pleaded. He was astonished by the fact he addressed the captain as father. Well, Dorian was the closest thing he had to one.
A fed up expression crossed Dorian's face. "GO NOW!" he said furiously. Before Thor could react Dorian shoved him with what strength remained in his body. The boy tumbled backwards. As Thor tried to get back on his feet two fellow crew members grabbed him by the arms and hoisted him off to the escape pod. Thor's body was numb and he could no longer resist. The old man must of put a spell on him so he couldn't fight back.
The escape pod was empty except for a rather hefty looking sword. On closer examination it was infact Dorian's prized blade. He must of left it there for Thor as a parting gift. But how could of had the time to do so? Did he know they were going to be attacked?
The two pirates tossed him onto one of the seats. "There you go lad. You're all set" one of the pirates said gently. "W-w-wait. What about you guys and the rest of the crew? What is the Captain's sword doing here?" Thor asked exasperated. The pirates merely smiled and closed the hatch on him. The small ship was already programmed to a set destination and took off without Thor's consent.
Back on deck the fearless red arrow captain, Dorian Red, watched as the pod steered its way out of the flurry of meteors.
"Make me proud, Son." he said softly. He was satisfied with his life and had come to terms with his own death. No longer worried about his boy, Dorian was able to die in peace.
At that moment the Red Arrow Pirates ship exploded into a ball of scorching red fire, never to be seen again.
