A model's strut was very much attainable by the man who moved through the darkness like he owned it; however, darkness shouldn't strut. Darkness wasn't some uppity, spoiled prince that got what it wanted by looking pretty. No, darkness took what it wanted by force. It ripped its desires from the stiff hands of its dead, fallen adversaries with tooth and nail. For that very reason, Tyro did not strut today. He slunk like the lowest of snakes through the alleys of the endless city, his flint-like amber eyes like dangerously glowing orbs in the shadows.
He was hungry - there was no denying that. The lust on his face was apparent as he scanned his surroundings, swiping his slender pink tongue over his pale lips as he sought out someone or something to destroy. There was nothing to eat in this damned city. There were only other Heartless, and, hey, they were good enough for the hunter. At least he could take his anger out on poor, helpless, stupid pawns of the Nobodies, and he wouldn't have to feel guilty about it... not that he would, anyways. He just wanted to crush something in his fists.
Tyro heard a sudden rumbling span across the sky and he immediately planted his feet solidly on the ground, clenching his gloved fists and looking up to the sky with his fiery eyes. What a surprise: it was starting to rain. Tyro let out a feral snarl that ripped from his throat like the sound of a chainsaw and began on his way again, punching the brick wall of an alley as he stepped from the shadowed alley into the blackness that was the Dark City. The sound of his knuckles crackling echoed before being covered by another roar of thunder.
He was getting sick and tired of sitting in this bloody city waiting for a job to do. The infinite amount of puny Heartless to crush could not quell the hunter's ever-growing thirst for blood and destruction. He swore, if he kept on going about like a wild animal in this city, he was going to go completely feral and end up tearing himself apart. The least they could do is drop off a pretty lady for him to have a bit of fun with. Not only would he get a meal, but he'd get a nice bit of playtime.
The big guys apparently had better things to worry about than their beloved pet Heartless. Whatever. Tyro would just continue to take down the Shadows that roamed the city, if only to not be bored. Out in the middle of the street now, Tyro shook his hair as rain began to pour from the sky, beating down on him and the rest of the Dark City relentlessly. With a low growl, he shook his head fiercely, his head of dark indigo hair shooting droplets of icy water off every which way.
A low, quiet hiss in the alley from which Tyro had just come caught his attention; he did not turn around. He listened as a little whispering sound came from his fingers. Like an extension to his hands, claws came, sharp as knives. The claws were very much like the Shadow's, only his constantly wafted shadow off in every which way, showing that they were not a natural piece of his body. The sound of portals opening and Shadows rising from the ground was suddenly around Tyro, and he threw back his head, letting out a cackling laugh that shook his entire body.
"Why, thank you, you pretentious shells, for answering my prayers and providing me with some entertainment." Tyro turned and gently tugged at the leash around his neck, purring in a low, rumbling voice, "Here, kitty kitties... Come meet your master." One Shadow leaped and Tyro struck it down immediately. It seemed to shatter like glass on the floor before fading to wisps, and then the horde of darkness began to charge.

Chaos had come to this world following some Heartless. They mostly seemed to ignore him as they could sense he did not have what they sought, it had been true for each of the Homunculi. They had even found they can snare them to their will, at least some of them. Once they had been snared the could be summoned to any location with but a thought. Even better, they had discovered how to open Gateways within the darkness to travel to different worlds.
Now he just needed to gather some information, after all he was a few hundred years out of date. So he followed them to their source, knowing himself to be indestructible. This brought him to be staring quizzically at the being before him. One often see a wolf in the form of a man, but here it was tearing at the other Heartless.
He stood at six foot.tall and thin. His smooth skin made him seem elegant, and his handsome features made him seem fragile. However there was a predator's aura to him, and he studied the being before him like a bug in a jar. He wore no shirt, just a pair of black pants, and a red bandanna around his head. His blond hung just over the bandana, lightly obscuring his light green eyes.

Once the first Heartless was down, Tyro knew he wouldn't be able to - nor would he like to - calm down and let sleeping dogs lie. For a split second, as he waited for the wave of writhing creatures of darkness to lunge for him, their teeth bared to kill and their claws aimed for his throat, he closed his eyes, simply enjoying this feeling of adrenaline rushing through him. He missed that feeling; this couldn't even begin to compare to the rush of the hunt, though. These mindless creatures would have to do well enough for him.
He let his instincts take over now, the instincts of a hunter and a Heartless. He was here to kill. His flaming eyes flickered open and he immediately brought one shadowy fist up, slamming it into the head of a leaping Shadow and sending it flying back. The Heartless had converged upon him now, and he crouched low to the ground, kicking off the pavement and sending himself shoulder first through the wall of Shadows like a charging bull. He emerged from the other side with the shadowy blood of the non-sentient beings splatted down his upper body and face.
He caught himself with his hands and propelled himself to his feet, immediately turning to the Shadows with his fists held defensively in front of him. Tyro was in more of a mood to be overwhelmed and mauled than to be the one overall winning, but what else could he expect from such pathetic opponents? The little Shadows slowly gathered their bearings and turned to him again, slowly beginning to make their way towards him. This fight was much too easy, but what else could he do? A sudden crack of lightning and the Shadows were upon him.
He let out a snarl as one of the things climbed onto his back and bit savagely at his neck, reaching behind him and grabbing the thing by its head and legs, proceeding to rip it in half and throw its quickly fading body. He crouched to the ground again, this time making a sweep-kick and sending several of the Heartless flying. Tyro figured it was good to keep his training going, even on these pathetic little beings. He stood again, stomping on the head of one Shadow and wiping it from existence, then turning to kick another into a wall.
Tyro was feeling even more feral than he had been just a moment earlier. He felt his adrenaline rushing, and he was ready to fight something bigger and better. Still, it had likely been pure luck that these Shadows had come upon him. It wasn't likely that anything stronger might stumble in his direction and face his violent fury. He slashed and hacked at a few more Heartless before, suddenly, he felt a dark presence near to him. He felt the dark hair on his neck stand on end, despite the cold rain that wetted his hair down, and his glowing eyes sought out the source.
Two Heartless leaped on his shoulders and began to bite at him. He let out a loud, vicious snarl that boomed with the thunder, and he grabbed then both by their heads, smashing their heads together and then throwing their bodies. They faded away again, and the remaining handful of Shadows fled, leaving Tyro with the dark presence. He grabbed gently at the tight belt around his neck with one hand, setting the other on his hip and looking around again, his eyes that were brighter than flares once more flickering to find the source of power and darkness.
Tyro's eyes suddenly found a thin man - a bit shorter than Tyro, actually - who stood wearing nothing but black pants despite the pouring rain. Tyro tossed his head, his dark hair whipping and sending more rain scattering, and he raised his chin, looking down on the man who seemed to radiate power. He grunted. "Look who's come to watch the Heartless play." Tyro looked up and down the man's body coolly, commenting, "You're not a Nobody. You're not even a Heartless. What are you?"

"You are a Heartless how exquisite." He said with a half smile. "My name is Chaos. I am a homunculus made to end the world. I have been out of the loop for some time. I would like some help in getting reacquainted with the world, oh worlds." He said with a full smile.
He kept his posture friendly, using a little of his priest routine, and a twist of whimsical Jester. However he never relaxed. If the creature decided to fall to violence, then he would be ready. He had a lot of practice killing, after all his first had been before he had died.
"In fact I think that's a good place to start, these Heartless. I have ascertained that you must consume hearts, and most do not have enough sentience to retain neither previous form or personality. Are you connected to a hive mind, that had been a central theory of how Heartless communicate." Chaos asked as he cocked his head and almost swayed with it.
"Further more what is this world called, and how is it I can walk through the Darkness following these Heartless?" He asked looking off in a different direction for a second before zeroing in on the Heartless before him.

As Tyro partly introduced himself - at least giving away that he was a Heartless - the other man seemed to smile, if only faintly. He commented in a peculiar voice, "You are a Heartless. How exquisite." Tyro gave one short nod and waited for this strange man of darkness to introduce himself to Tyro. The man stated with a bit of flare and glamor to his voice, "My name is Chaos. I am a homunculus made to end the world. I have been out of the loop for some time. I would like some help in getting reacquainted with the world, or worlds."
For several moments, Tyro kept a poker face, continuing to search the man's appearance, his tone, and his first words to try to find whether or not he should trust him. He was a creature made to end the world, so probably not, but what did Tyro care if he "lived" to see another day or not? The Nobodies would find a new pawn to replace him and all would be well with the world without the bloody hunter in the way. The man before him seemed quite calm and content, but battle-ready. Good.
Tyro nodded, silently agreeing to help this "Chaos" to become reacquainted with worlds. Why exactly he needed reacquainting was beyond Tyro, but it was not necessary information, and so he would let it go. Chaos began quite simply. "In fact I think that's a good place to start, these Heartless. I have ascertained that you must consume hearts, and most do not have enough sentience to retain neither previous form or personality. Are you connected to a hive mind? That had been a central theory of how Heartless communicate."
He went on, his gaze drifting off in some other direction, "Further more, what is this world called, and how is it I can walk through the Darkness following these Heartless?" Tyro released the grip he'd had on his own leash, setting both hands on his hips and looking up to the sky, knowing it would be raining like this at least until morning, whenever the hell "morning" was (seeing as the Dark City had never, at any point, had a day time or even a dawn or dusk).
When Tyro returned his gaze to Chaos, Chaos had returned his gaze from its wanderings, and they locked eyes. Tyro started from Chaos's first wave of questions and comments. "You are correct. We must consume hearts. It's like how humans eat, only Heartless steal hearts to feel complete. Well, most Heartless. I steal hearts because the hunt is thrilling. As for the hive mind and sentience, some of the Heartless are, indeed, connected by hive mind.
"Sentience plays a part in the hive mind. Shadows, for example, are small and insignificant, and they know it. They come in giant groups to stand a better chance. The bigger the Heartless, the less they're connected to the hive mind." Tyro shook his head again, rain whipping away once more. He didn't like the feeling of his wet hair clinging to his face. Some people didn't mind, but he hated it. It annoyed him. With a sigh, Tyro went on, choosing to ignore the obnoxious sensation.
"This is the World that Never Was, one of the main bases of the former Organization XIII and a huge gathering point for Heartless like myself. As for you traveling through Darkness, well..." He shrugged and responded, "That's beyond me. You say you were made to end the world?"

Chaos watched fascinated, at some point in their conversation the wolf had left and he was talking to a man. Yet this creature was a Heartless and not a human, despite his looks and mannerisms. Was it the same way Chaos was? Were these mostly manufactured to keep up appearances, or was he talking to a human who just happened to be a Heartless as well.
Of course that was based on the concept the becoming a Homunculus or a Heartless removed emotions, and after all his had always been weak. He had long ago mastered the ability to fake the appearance of almost any emotion flawlessly.
"Well I was made to wipe humanity from the face of the world, I mean worlds now." Chaos said. "I have determined that the Heartless would be invaluable in this mission. A sea of humanities passion rising up to drown them." He said his voice filled with desire and power.
He reached up and removed his bandana revealing the ouroboros on his forehead. He smiled in a way that only made him look like more of a predator. His eyes lit up with the fires of his passion as his face was drawn back by the smile. "I am Chaos of the Four Horsemen. Few know that name, and few will until I am ready with a masterstroke. I am ageless and I am indestructible. I have no soul because I was not crafted with one." He held his hand out to the Heartless. "The Four Horsemen will remove the taint of humanity from every world, would you to like to join me wolfhound, or would you like to play with the Shadows some more?"

"Speech." - "Quote." - Thought. - Action.
Tyro took silent note of every single glance and and flicker of thought on this peculiar man's face as he explained to Chaos the hive mind and sentience that were connected to the Heartless. Tyro, himself, well, he just figured that, when he'd had his heart stolen by the love of his life, the Darkness had seen him as a valuable asset and decided to make him more than just a puny little Shadow. Thank heaven, too. Tyro didn't know if he'd have been able to stand it if he'd been some tiny, worthless creature. He knew he was better than that.
Tyro wasn't exactly an egomaniac (not to say that he wasn't), but he knew that he was worth more to the world than just a couple of glimmering yellow eyes and a scrawny, shadowy body with antennae. He had been a true hunter and a killer when he'd been whole, and to give him that and more in an afterlife was more than he ever could have asked for and imagined. He quite enjoyed it... at least, he would, if he weren't always forced to sit around bored. Perhaps Chaos's arrival was the opportunity of a lifetime...
Chaos spoke, now, correcting Tyro promptly, "Well, I was made to wipe humanity from the face of the world - I mean, worlds, now." The Heartless almost remember back on his home world when he'd thought there were no worlds outside of his own... He couldn't imagine how off-balance the worlds would all have been thrown had they known of the existence of each other. Perhaps they did... Perhaps only the sages knew. Chaos continued. "I have determined that the Heartless would be invaluable in this mission. A sea of humanity's passion rising up to drown them..."
Something in the tone of Chaos's voice sent a chill up Tyro's spine, and he liked it. The Heartless felt his own wicked smirk gently slip over his darkened features, and it was then that Chaos reached up to remove the scarlet bandana from his forehead, revealing a strange symbol which Tyro was sure he should recognize. Chaos's voice suddenly rose with magnificent power, almost trembling with such malevolent force, and Tyro knew that, with this man of great power before him, he could not say no, whatever he requested.
Chaos introduced himself once more, but there was something more thrilling and ominous about this one. "I am Chaos of the Four Horsemen. Few know that name, and few will until I am ready with a masterstroke. I am ageless and I am indestructible. I have no soul because I was not crafted with one." Tyro felt the excitement swelling in his belly grow a bit more, and then the being reached a hand forward. At first, Tyro was puzzled. What was this gesture? He, personally, didn't recognize it.
Chaos went on, his tone almost mocking, "The Four Horsemen will remove the taint of humanity from every world. Would you to like to join me wolfhound, or would you like to play with the Shadows some more?" Tyro returned his blazing amber gaze to meet the passionately burning eyes of the Horseman, and Tyro stated in a surprisingly cool voice, "By the time the end of the human race comes about, I expect to be long destroyed, whether by my own foolish deeds or by the hands of a grand warrior... but until that day comes, I offer my services and the ferocity with which I do and always will hunt."
Tyro extended his hand to take Chaos's, and after a nice deal-sealing, the Heartless stepped back once again, commenting, "Lucky you found me. I was ready to lose my damn mind."

"I knew I would quickly find what I needed." Chaos said. He looked up into the storming sky and skipped lightly in the rain. "My ties to the chaos of the universe often brings me to where I need to be by sheer chance."
"That means I am also exactly what you needed. If you wish to hunt, I will find you worthy prey. However first I want you to explain as much as you can about these different worlds and how they are connected." He looked over the Heartless once more, studying it, dissecting it, memorizing every little detail.
He spun around, quicker then a normal human, splashing water around him as he seemed to watch something in the far distance. "Of course most importantly is who are our enemies. See I understand humans, very well. I know they will fight back, it is their nature to defend their squalor. Who knows of the threat the Heartless pose to these myriad worlds." He asked looking over his shoulder.
He looked back to the far off skyscraper. Humans would always rise up to face him, but outside of his world who could threaten him? Would any even give him pause, or would he crush their skulls underneath his boot easil?. All he knew for sure was that the worlds would be his and he would cleanse humanity from the universe.

After Tyro had stated his relief at Chaos's appearance, the strange man replied confidently, "I knew I would quickly find what I needed." Sometimes it was nice to find what one wanted without having to scour the face of each and every world for it. Other times, however, the search and find were much more thrilling. Overall, the Heartless supposed that he enjoyed having the option. Sometimes it was more convenient merely to find... other times, well, he just wanted to run and tear something all to shit.
Chaos turned his head to look up into the storming sky, and he commented, "My ties to the chaos of the universe often brings me to where I need to be by sheer chance." Tyro half smiled and grunted, "Lucky for you, eh? Less running around to be done." Chaos continued once again, returning his piercing eyes to Tyro and looking him over, picking him apart with his eyes like some specimen. Tyro didn't much care. He was under this guy's services... the man could look at him like some sexy piece of meat and Tyro wouldn't care.
"That means I am also exactly what you needed. If you wish to hunt, I will find you worthy prey. However first I want you to explain as much as you can about these different worlds and how they are connected." Tyro crossed his arms, preparing his thoughts and words to present to this man as Chaos suddenly whirled around, rain whipping off of his form as it did with Tyro's, shooting every which way, including hitting Tyro. He didn't react, though. He merely watched as Chaos's gaze shifted outward, likely taking in the neon lights of the skyscrapers of the city.
Chaos stated, continuing from his earlier query, "Of course most importantly is who are our enemies. See I understand humans, very well. I know they will fight back, it is their nature to defend their squalor. Who knows of the threat the Heartless pose to these myriad worlds." The Heartless narrowed his amber eyes. Enemies? Well, damn. He wasn't sure if the enemies they'd have to face were even out of hiding yet... With the Darkness, eventually they'd have to show up, but they weren't here yet...
Tyro took in a deep breath, then stated, "I never really went to an "all about the worlds" course in school... I have no exact answers, but I believe that the worlds are connected by bridges of darkness. So long as one being on any world has darkness in their heart - greed, lust, envy, even just a twisted mind like me - then that world can be accessed by any world that also has darkness." Tyro closed his eyes, trying to gather up all the information he needed. He'd only just gone on a little rampage with the Heartless... he couldn't be expected to calm down quickly.
"Once a world has been cleansed of dark hearts, it can be locked away and unable to be accessed by the other worlds." Tyro paused, and added quickly, "At least, that's what I've been lead to believe. As for enemies..." Tyro looked at Chaos now, his amber eyes burning, "Humans are currently our biggest threat. Once upon a time, there were humans who... well, their powerful hearts made them different.
"They were called Keybearers. Now, they were a threat. The ones with pure hearts and strong wills were a force to be reckoned with." Tyro half laughed then. "It seems whenever the darkness rises up to consume the light, the light brings in a few new Keybearers and then a real war begins. Darkness never seems to win... Lately, we Heartless have been extremely restless. I believed we've recovered and gathered enough blackened souls to actually start a war against the worlds again."

Chaos listened intently as he watched the rain fly past those bright lights. Sometimes he would pick out a moving form, but none came this way. He was looking for the scenario, the hidden chain. He could usually find the domino to push to cause a truly marvelous reaction.
He returned his attention to the Heartless again once he brought up these supposed strong souls. So some people could be imbued with some ability that seemed to pose a threat, but he doubted they would be a threat to him.
He gazed over his shoulder and focused on the beast before him. "So the backdrop of war, how excellent. I will easily be able to make my pushes, and no one will notice before it is to late." He said a lust entering his voice. "I'll tear apart and they will know the error of their ways." He then began to laugh. "Then I can go to the next world, and do it again." He said darkly and passionately.
"Humanity may have won, but obviously their victory was incomplete, or there would be no new Heartless." Chaos said. "This means they have had losses, are there Dark worlds we can use?"

"Speech." - "Quote." - Thought. - Action.
Tyro remained quiet once he had made his statements. He had told Chaos what Chaos had asked, and now it was likely that Chaos would use that information for his benefit, as well as forming more questions. Him being a hunter and all, he didn't plan. He didn't like using information to his benefit. What he wanted was just to kill, eat, and survive, and surviving was, in all honesty, at the bottom of his list. He was already dead, so why would he care if he went on in this lonely, miserable life? He was just in this for the hunt.
Chaos seemed, for a long time, distracted by something off in the distance, though what it was, Tyro was uncertain. The guy could focus on anything he wanted to. Tyro didn't care. He was used to talking to the wind. It was Chaos's problem if he missed something important. However, it seemed that the man was paying careful attention. The Heartless caught a glimpse of indifference and even amusement on Chaos's face once he'd mentioned the forces to be reckoned with. So Chaos didn't believe him. Interesting.
"So the backdrop of war. How excellent. I will easily be able to make my pushes, and no one will notice before it is too late." Tyro let out a faint snort, though the lust and sadism in the man's voice gave Tyro a small reason to smile, sending another chill up his spine. He just loved when someone spoke of agony and destruction... it reminded him of his childhood, when he'd took a chunk from his brother, killed his mom and dad, and lost his little twin sisters... the last one still stung a bit. They'd been the only thing he'd loved besides... her.
Tyro shook his head, immediately sending those thoughts into a black abyss as he focused on Chaos, whose booming laughter now rang with the thunder as he spoke of destroying each and every world. Still, thoughts of the past haunted Tyro. Would his sisters be destroyed, too? Of course they would, dumbass. Tyro forced the thoughts away again as Chaos began to speak. "Humanity may have won, but obviously their victory was incomplete, or there would be no new Heartless.
"This means they have had losses. Are there dark worlds we can use?" Tyro nodded once. "There are a few, and if not worlds, then we may use parts of worlds. Nearly every world has a portion where Darkness reigns, even when there are no dark hearts. There is this world, Hollow Bastion... Basically, more worlds than you could care to count." Tyro looked Chaos directly in the eyes and stated, "The Darkness once had every world under its claws. If not for the Keybearers, we would have one. Don't take them lightly."

"Good then, I will need to gather more Heartless and form a fall back point on one of these worlds. Always prudent to be prepared." Chaos said with a wry smile. He slowly twisted around, without breaking eye contact. Once he stood face to face to the Heartless. "Do you doubt me, Hound." He said his voice breaking to anger.
He felt the chaos well up around him and he raised his arms to draw in the power and released it suddenly into the rain, to display his power.[dice=10] Suddenly the rain swirled around and flew away suddenly in every direction, and the rain was hot.
He calmed down and looked the Heartless over. "I'll forgive you this time, because you did not know. When I said I was indestructible, I meant it. I have been stabbed, shot with arrows, run through, decapitated, and even harmed with alchemy. I have not been killed. It is because of what I am."
He moved around the Heartless and just grinned. "Certainly you must feel that I lack a soul, I lack a heart. But I look human, I was once human. I am a homunculus, a created human, more specifically an attempt at human resurrection.. Little known fact, it doesn't work. However I am different, as I was created by fate, all of the Horsemen share this trait, it makes us a little stronger then the average Homunculus. It's also how we're indestructible."
"However, I never underestimate a foe. I have lost before, despite my powers and strength." Chaos said with purpose. "That taught me more then anything else. No, despite the fact that they can not kill me, does not mean they can not win."
He looked past Tyro, memorizing the land around him. "I will not lose this time, and I will pay heed to my foes. I will crush them, I will take them apart. I will learn their every weakness and I will exploit them. I will crush them with despair, or turn them into monsters that self destruct on a friends sword."
He smiled and for now more then ever he looked psychotic. "Because they have the greatest weakness of all, they are still human, and I know so much about humans and how to make their blood run." He said the last his voice lowering. "I love a good challenge and learning to break them will be fun."
He calmed down and his eyes shot back to Tyro. "But, I don't imagine you enjoy the mind games, you want to tear and rip. You want claw to out their heart. You know what you want, and you to take it by force. What's your favorite part of the kill, the blood? I was always fascinated by the blood."
"My first kill had been as a young boy, I slit her throat, and watched the blood flow down her white dress." He said sweetly remembering his first, his true triumph, they day he surpassed humanity. "Or is it the power to choose who lives, the strength to crush someone's life, take what they value most."
"No, with you, I imagine it is about the kill itself, just that moment when your two lives touch, and then theirs ends."[rand=542400587701285378105945494087347826100273040608979999906271147]

Tyro had not expected his hint of warning to be taken lightly. After all, Chaos seemed to be a more egotistical and confident man than even Tyro, and that was truly saying something, since he felt himself to be unbeatable by anyone other than merely the other half - his true love - that he no longer possessed. He was determined to find her and destroy her before he was forced to leave this world of the "living". That was not the danger at hand, however; Tyro had told one of the Horsemen to not get too cocky. That'd piss off anyone.
Chaos's turn was slow and pointed; his own eyes burned into Tyro's, and all the Heartless could really do was clench his jaw and wait for the man to react. There was a wickedness on Chaos's face that made Tyro almost regret what he'd said. Almost. It had to be said. Chaos, however, clearly did not agree. "Do you doubt me, Hound?" Tyro grimmaced slightly at the venom that was present in the man's voice, though he kind of liked the name that Chaos had called him by. It was... interesting. Fitting enough.
Tyro had bigger things to think about than a new pet name, though. He'd just insulted someone who was destined to bring an end to the human race, and for all he knew, Chaos would consider him useless and too much piss and vinegar to keep around. The Homunculus drew some ominous power from the blackened sky, feeding his own fury and chaos with the storm in the clouds. With a vicious cry, suddenly he threw his arms out, and with that, the storm changed to something that Tyro couldn't have expected. It was... hot.
Tyro let out a sudden snarl as he was pelted with a flurry of practically scalding rain. Despite that he was wearing jeans and a long sleeved shirt with a jacket, the burning water sunk through, and when it touched his skin, it hurt. Tyro's eyes were flaming like the sun now, focused on Chaos as he silently damned the man for making the rain so damn hot. Then again, what good would damnation do versus the creature created to end the world. All Tyro could do was grit his teeth, sink to one knee on the floor, and pray that Chaos would calm down.
It seemed that Tyro's prayer was quick to be answered; Chaos's eyes now searched over Tyro's kneeling frame, and he stated, "I'll forgive you this time, becuase you did not know." Tyro did not meet Chaos's eyes; instead, he stared out over the city. "When I said I was indesctuctible," he went on, "I meant it. I have been stabbed, shot with arrows, run through, decapitated, and even harmed with alchemy. I have not been killed. It is because of what I am."
Tyro placed his palms against the cement, balancing himself as Chaos moved to stand begind him. Tyro had seen the devilish grin on the man's face, and he knew the Homunculus was not done. Chaos began by describing himself. He lacked a soul and a heart - no surprise there - and he once was human - "more specifically, an attempt at human resurrection. Little known fact, it doesn't work." This statement brought a slight snort from Tyro, and Chaos went on to say that he was created by fate. He was truly indestructible.
"However, I never underestimate a foe," Chaos stated. "I have lost before, despite my powers and strength. That taught me more than anything else. No, despite the fact that they can not kill me, does not mean they can not win." Tyro glanced up; Chaos was no longer facing him. He was no longer focused on the rain-beaten Heartless. Tyro stood then, brushing off his hands and knees and looking at Chaos with narrowed eyes, listening to the man as he continued to speak.
The next words Chaos spoke seemed more... important than the others, and so, Tyro listened. The Homunculus said, "I will not lose this time, and I will pay heed to my foes. I will crush them - I will take them apart. I will learn their every weakness and I will exploit them. I will crush them with despair, or turn them into monsters that self destruct on a friend's sword." Tyro gritted his teeth again slightly. If you want them to become monsters, just turn them into heartless shells like the Nobodies and I.
Though Tyro could not see the man's face anymore, he could sense a psychotic bloodlust that almost matched Tyro's. "Because," Chaos began in his bold voice, "they have the greatest weakness of all; they are still human, and I know so much about humans and how to make their blood run. I love a good challenge and learning to break them will be fun." Chaos's voice dropped a little bit, growing calm and low. He turned back to Tyro and the Heartless kept his amber eyes fixed on that deadly man.
"But I don't imagine you enjoy the mind games. You want to tear and rip. You want claw out their heart. You know what you want, and you take it by force. What's your favorite part of the kill, the blood? I was always fascinated by the blood." Tyro looked away now, feeling his fists tighten and a rage swell up in the pit of his feral belly. Chaos went on, his voice sweet and reminiscent, "My first kill had been as a young boy. I slit her throat, and watched the blood flow down her white dress."
"Or is it the power to choose who lives - the strength to crush someone's life, to take what they value most?" Chaos asked, referring to his original question. He paused, then went on slowly, "No, with you, I imagine it is about the kill itself - just that moment when your two lives touch, and then theirs ends." Tyro let out a low sigh that was practically dripping with lust and hunger. It had been far too long since he'd had any of those sensations. His claws hadn't pierced the chest of a helpless, hopeless victim in too long.
"All of the above," Tyro began in a low voice, "And then some." The Heartless once again looked up to meet Chaos's eyes, his own psychotic passion welling up in the form of a feral smile that curled his pale lips and exposed his sharp white teeth. "I was just born out of my mind. I always was a sadist - the suffering of others brought joy to me. The taste of blood, the sounds of screams, the power, the passion, the adrenaline... it all plays a piece in my adoration for death and destruction." He half smiled and tugged at the tight belt around his neck, adding in a more playful voice, "A bit of masochism keeps me from gettin' worn out, too."

Chaos smiled in joy at the Heartless's revelry. "The simple realization that no one else mattered. I must understand all of it. Now I know. I can be the perfect human, I mastered how to fake that, had to, before I lost my Heart."
He was enjoying living in the past, and being honest with one person, one person who wouldn't be a threat. Someone he could control in the end. It was refreshing to have one person that he wouldn't have to lie to, not even the Horsemen got such an honor. Of course they could be threats to him.
However, it was obviously having an effect on the wolf, something Chaos wanted to see more off. Maybe they would start an impromptu hunt, a test of his new hound. Hmm, he wouldn't mind to get out of the rain.
"How about we feed that craving of yours, and test your skill at the same time." Chaos said. "I will take you back to my world, you will have to bring me an alchemist, in fact two, one for you, and one for me. Yours doesn't arrive alive, but try keep a low profile. Can you do this?"

"Speech." - "Quote." - Thought. - Action.
Tyro felt himself growing more and more restless by the second. This talk of the very thing he lived for - hunting and killing - was driving him insane. Indeed, second by second, his self-control was slipping away. Chasing after insignificant Shadows wasn't enough; it never had been, and he knew it, but he'd told himself that he had to live with that if he wanted to live at all. The most he could do was pretend they were poor, helpless children and he was killing them quite painfully... Unfortunately, it was not the same when blood as red as a sunset was not running down his fingers.
Just imagining the thrill of a true hunt caused the Heartless's smile to grow that much broader, a wide, wild look glinting in his deathly yellow eyes. Even the memories of the days before his Heartless hunting came sweeping back - the day he'd had the first taste of blood, the feel of the heat on his face when his mother and father burned to ash in a charred home of embers... even having his own heart torn out and knowing one day he'd have the pleasure of cutting that uppity bitch right to the core came to mind and made him flex his fists as though gripping some unseen, bloody heart.
Chaos seemed quite pleased at the strange pleasure that Tyro took from remembering what once had been - oh, how Tyro, himself relished those thoughts... but they were merely thoughts. Memories. Chaos's voice ringing out again broke the hungry Heartless from his reveries, if only slightly. The grin immediately faded from Tyro's face and he forced his more sadistic and psychotic nature aside. He had to beg himself to focus on the Horseman. Chaos spoke with a smile on his face, and though he wasn't all there, Tyro listened.
"The simple realization that no one else mattered, Chaos began. "I must understand all of it. Now I know. I can be the perfect human, I mastered how to fake that, had to, before I lost my Heart." Tyro felt a little twinge of a smile try to twist at his lips. He was remembering his first kill as a Heartless. Still, he fought down the thought to focus on Chaos's words. Why would he want to be like a perfect human if his job was to eliminate the human race? It was something a purebred killer like Tyro would never comprehend. His mind did not work in intricate plans... it worked in steal, kill, eat, sleep, and have sex with anything in a skirt.
Chaos seemed to have a reverent look on his face as well; what was it that he was considering that was bringing him such joy? Obviously, Tyro wasn't aware enough to really care about what the Homunculus was saying. His eyes were half-glazed, still sharp, as they fought between alertness and memories of things he longed for - the taste of blood and flesh on his tongue, the feel of tissue tearing beneath his claws, the sounds of screams... oh, how hard it was to think about and not just let out a crazed scream.
Chaos spoke again, and immediately those particular words caught Tyro's attention. The Heartless's flaming amber gaze shift to bore into Chaos's own eyes as he said, "How about we feed that craving of yours and test your skill at the same time?" Automatically the half-crazed look left Tyro's eyes and he stood up taller, waiting for Chaos to go on. "I will take you back to my world. You will have to bring me an alchemist - in fact, two: one for you and one for me." Then came the words that Tyro couldn't help but flash a wicked grin to. "Yours doesn't arrive alive."
Of course, there were the additions of "keep a low profile" and other things like that. Tyro nodded once, and his hair fell into his face. With the wild look once again in his eyes, he stated in a surprisingly cool and calm voice, "Of course I can do this. I never fail." He gave Chaos his most dazzling grin, but his teeth had a strange new hungry edge to them. "Just get me where I need to go and let the hunt begin."
