War had been off at the meeting. She had hid it well, but Chaos knew her well. So after he broke the meeting up he had followed her. She had gone to meet some women. By itself that was not odd, Chaos knew full well the proclivities of War, and her hungers. However the way she was greeted made it seem like this was at least their second meeting. War never went back for seconds.
They disappeared into the room. They way War had held her. It had looked remarkably like love, but that was an impossibility. They had no hearts. Chaos needed to learn everything he could about this women. This need had led him many interesting locations and had even led to him meeting Sentenza and Darkwing.
Finally he had found what he needed. This women was rather interesting. He had never found such a perfect dichotomy, but what was expected of a spy. He came back to watch the building. He was quite fortunate to arrive shortly before War left. Of course, fortune had always been on his side.
After she had left the building Chaos walked up to the door and sharply turned the handle, snapping the bolt with his strength. He quietly opened the door and moved through the darkened room as a ghost. He was wearing the uniform of a rebel, there might still be some blood on it, he hadn't been to through in it's cleaning. He removed the bandana around his forehead revealing the orouboros tattoo that was hidden behind it. If they had been intimate, then she would recognize it from War.
He sat down beside the bed, his night eyes making the form of a sleeping women. He turned on the lamp and cleared his throat. "Hello Mars, we need to talk."

Rebecca could only guess what Seraph was up to. Rebecca may have acted as if she didn't notice but she knew War had taken off once she thought she was asleep. But Rebecca didn't much care at this point, she was content enough. A nice night just spent with Seraph, having a bit of fun and while inevitably leading to sex, she managed to steer it away from just the rough doing for the sake of doing it stuff mostly. That alone had made it far more satisfying, at least tonight. Guess one could say she had been feeling a little more needy tonight. But at this point, she was tired and going to sleep.
She had managed to pull on her undergarments and that was all, more because on the off chance War came in and Rebecca didn't here it, there was something to keep War from doing anything while she was out cold. She had other partners touch her while sleeping, and she preferred being awake for that. She dozed off for a bit, but woke up as she heard the bolt snap. She doubted that War would do that. But she kept her back turned to the door and feigned sleep as she slipped a knife out, appearing to simply just shift in bed. Surprisse was always the best element. She then heard a males voice, using a name that no one she knew would have used. She in an instant spun, moved and swung, jabbing the kine into the intruders neck and seeing what should have been a uniform of a rebel soldier, not that they really had a standard uniform. But as she pulled the knife out, there was no gushing blood, nor any on the blade. She was starting to wish she had a gun on her, but somehow she had a feeling that wouldn't work. "What the fuck are you?" she shouted as she jumped out of the bed and held the blade in a defensive manner.

She was fast. Fast enough he hadn't been able to change his defense. He had expected an attack towards his chest and had prepared for such. His arms had been brought to his chest when he felt the blade sink in. It hadn't hurt, that was promising. She didn't have a strong enough Heart to make the blade harm him. It felt the strange sensation as the blade was removed.
He smiled. "I'm an associate of War's. My name is Chaos. I want to know your intentions towards her." He said calmly as he stood up. He casually whipped the chair he had been sitting on at her. He moved it with all of his speed and strength.
"See War's been hurt in the past. I want to make sure it doesn't happen again." He said with a smile. It was almost obvious he was toying with her at this point. He was enjoying this and the obvious concern Rebecca would have. He was the unstoppable monster to her. She who had been made to conquer would be made to fear him. He could almost taste the excitement in the air. The universe was screaming at him. Here was just a simple domino to push.
"What I am, Mars, is stronger then you. Now, shall we have this talk?"

Rebecca was in soldier mode and on high alert, so when he through the chair it seemed to be in slow motion which while she didn't show it scared her because it was still fairly fast. She went to move and part of it grazed her arm and caused her to flinch because of the force as it went past, probably going to leave a bruise on top of having taken some skin off from friction. But she kept herself ready to defend herself.
She could hear it in his voice he didn't really give a damn. And why did he insist on calling her that name, how did he even know it? Were he a rebel he would be bleeding out on the floor. That was when she saw the tattoo. She glared as she said "If you really gave a damn, you wouldn't throw a chair or break into the room." She was running down her options seeing as obviously stabbing him in the neck wasn't enough. "I have no intention of leaving Seraph, Even if that means you throw another chair." Using War's real name as far as she was concerned. "And I don't know who this Mars person your looking for is, but I'm not her, so get the hell out of my room." Not about to acknowledge he was stronger or faster. If she let herself think it, there was no way she'd win, fighting was as much in the mind as the body.

"Come now Mars, we both know who you are. It took me some time, and some very interesting effects, but in time I found some rebels. They are so dedicated to their mission. I was impressed, I had to bleed a few before I found out what I wanted. Went from there." Chaos said with a warm smile. He was specifically seeming calm and friendly, despite his actions and his words. "Found out your a monster that still looks like a human. Is that what attracts you about War?"
He continued to move forward, acting calm and casual the entire time. "Look at that, War told you her human name, how cute is that. Does she answer to it, pretending she still has a soul? Maybe she managed to rekindle some of those long forgotten emotions. I wonder what love is like without a Heart."
He suddenly dashed forward, throwing a punch towards Rebecca's gut. He forced all of his strength into that blow, knowing she would need to feel all of it if he were to win. It would be surprising that Chaos was actually stronger then War.
"Mars and War, a pairing for the history. A beautiful women blessed with inhuman grace and a lust for battle, and an unstoppable women of raw power, and an equal lust for battle. I want to see if you actually measure up Mars."

She listened as he talked about the rebels. If she understood his words right, he actually helped in a sense, they were after all er enemy. That being said, the monster comment irritated her, as well as his attitude as a whole. "I'm not a bloody monster you whack-o." she said, though at that same moment he dashed forward. She grabbed hold of his arm which slid through and while she obviously slowed it some amount, as his fist landed it caused her to double over coughing. The only saving grace was what little she had slowed it and her reinforced body and denser muscle. Other wise he probably would have done a lot more damage. She looked up at him defiantly as he spoke of how mars and war were a pairing for the ages.
Though, through the look of Defiance something else arose. She was still clearly Rebecca, but something dark and malicious lurked below the surface. "I have no idea what your going on about you loon" she said, taking a swing at his eyes with her knife. "She still has a heart, and human is always a relative term." She said, still trying to catch her breath.

"Oh your far from human, you just proved it." Chaos said. He sounded happy, as if this was just a casual first meeting. "That same blow would have gone through a human's spine, I know, I've seen it." He stepped back and cracked his neck. He then struck out with a back hand aimed for her face. "Only a monster can be more then human. It's the truth of the universe. The greatest hero is always as frail as a human, but the greatest villain is always so much stronger."
He grinned at her as he studied her. "Of course in your case the humans crafted monsters that they kept on chains. Quite clever of them, a way to fight other monsters. Trust me I can always recognize a fellow monster." He said ducking back, but not quite fast enough to avoid a graze on the cheek. The wound closed itself quickly, only encouraging Chaos' boldness.
He swung out with his leg towards her knee. "Oh dear, keep telling yourself that. I know for a fact War is far from human, she is a creature without a soul, and the Heartless confirmed she has no Heart, how else could she lead them, without them trying to devour her?"

Rebecca growled as he continued to say she was a monster. Who the hell was he and why was he so calm. Next thing she knew as she straightened up she was back handed across the face hard enough to knock her back on the bed. Once again the changes to her body lessening the damage and the decision to roll with it. But reinforced bone or not her jaw still hurt. "Not every Hero is totally human, and if you really had gone to where I came from, you'd know some of our greatest hero's, are the others like me." she said, her rage only growing.
She rolled away from the strike on her knee since she was still on the bed, she hesitated for a second as he talked about War again. But she only hesitated that second to listen as she charged at him shoulder down intent on tackling him or ramming him into the wall. She may not have had her armor on but she still had a good amount of speed. "You, you may be a monster, but War as you call her isn't" she said, still not about to back down, "So what, I don't much care what she is, or if she leads heartless, I've seen plenty of people lead them who had hearts. She has a soul, everything does, even you as black as it may be." Though while she said it, she ran through her head the fact when she had gone for his eyes, he had moved. It may not do a lot in damage, but maybe he had he same weak points as any other male human. "And we were never chained down." she snarled, aiming to knee him in the groin.

He stood and took the brunt of her attacks, slamming into the wall. He heard the wood splinter from the impact and felt her knee strike his crotch. He laughed in her face. The strikes had stung, perhaps more faith in her body then the knife, but they had been mere bug bites compared to real pain. "No, their monsters dressed in human cloths and given medals to shut them up. What does the rest of the world think of you. I know the looks of fear that humans have for these so called heroes." He struck out with his forehead towards hers.
He used the movement to push her off of him and stood clear of her. "At least I know what I am.I accept it and I enjoy it, turning your back on it is what causes suffering. The chains may not have been visible, my dear Mars, but they were there, still wrapped around your heart to this day. Call it loyalty, or honor, it's a tool to control you. Humans are smart like that, and devious."
"And once they are done with you , they find a way to get rid of you. Just ask War, I believe they had her beheaded." He reached down and grabbed a leg of the chair, snapping it off from the rest. "See that's the thing about every homunculus, they really don't have souls, bent only on destruction. That's why human alchemy was made illegal. A failed attempt at human resurrection gives rise to such a creature. Of course we were made by fate, and are so much stronger then any normal homunculus."
He moved quickly, striking with the improvised club at Rebecca's joints. "Oh Mars we tested it, the Heartless have no interest in us. We do not register to them.A hero even felt it and pointed out to others, no Heart. Ever wonder why he pulse never raced, or why she never tired no matter what you did. She doesn't need to sleep, or eat or any of those things that you must do."
"Mars, are you aware your sleeping with a Horsemen of the Apocalypse?"

Rebecca backed off as he tried to headbutt her, and as much as he had laughed in her face, she was sure he had to have at least felt it, done some amount of damage. She kept her mouth shut as he prattled on... and tipped his hand. She had been to Amestris 50 years ago this universes time, and read what she could on everything. Nothing mentioned one like him, but she read about homunculi, even seen some. This meant he wasn't some demi-god or anything. He wasn't some perfect immortal being. She dodged his swings till he said about sleeping with a horsemen of the apocalypse at which point she grabbed it with her had at snapped the wooden chair leg down by where his hand was and tossed the other piece aside.
"Seraph told me she wasn't human, least that she didn't need things like sleep and food" Rebecca replied, obviously seeming more confident then before. "You think those medals kept us quiet, then why do we defy orders? Yes, many people are afraid because were strong, some think were abominations, but the majority... They have seen what we do to keep them safe, and you try to use this all to say I'm a monster, you failed in whatever you looked up on me." she said, "I'm different then the others, in that I CHOSE to become this, I'm different then you because this was my choice, and because of how I choose to wield my power. And now I know what you are, I've been to a world that they had and spoke of things like you. You may be hard as a cockroach to kill, but it's not impossible."
She went back on the offensive, kicking, punching, trying to strike with the knife. Most humonculi had a limit on how many times they could regenerate a fatal wound, so if she "killed" him enough times, eventually he'd stay dead. "If Seraph is War, then the only logical name for you would be chaos, I doubt Death and Pestilence would speak so much, the conqueror bent on conquest, would explain your love of talking." she said, "But your no horsemen, your a homunculi made by a fool trying to play god, and given the name of a horsemen for whatever end... Sounds more like your the one who is chained down"

"Then you'll be like every other fool alchemist who came after us with the same belief." Chaos said as he began to dodge the attacks just to show off. It amused him that she would think she had him on the ropes. "Do you think fate would make us an imperfect, flawed being as the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, no we are far stronger." He said as he lashed out, holding even less back then before. Now he struck to cripple, not just to cause pain.
"I've been killing heroes for so long, do you think you stand a chance Mars? "Do you think standing up for mommies experiments counts as choosing. Maybe mommy and daddy were working together all along. Daddy softens you up to the idea. Wouldn't be the first man to sacrifice everything for his belief. Of course both of your parents sacrificed your humanity for the rest of the pathetic lot."
He chuckled. "Try as you might Mars, you can't kill me, you don't have what it takes. I don't anyone does in the end, after all who can stop the apocalypse we herald." Chaos shook his head in false stun. "Wooh, just thought about it, your girlfriend will be responsible for the deaths of everyone you care about eventually. That's got to be bad for the health of the relationship."
He finally stopped and grabbed the knife as it slashed for him. Normally the blade wouldn't even be able to cut skin, but in her hands it was able to dig a deep gash that he didn't feel. "This is getting tireing. It's hard to enjoy a fight you know your going to win, but it is always fun to play with the weak."
"Do you know what happens when an unmoveable object meets an unstoppable force?" He asked with a devious smile as he began to bend the knife blade. "Nothing, it's an impossibility, there's always something stronger."

Rebecca took another hit to the face and spun back, but laughed as she wiped a bit of blood from her lip and breathed heavily. "There is no such thing as perfection, everything has a flaw, even you. There is someway to bring you down, and someone, somewhere will find it." She said, continuing to dodge and do her best to block. "And mom never sacrificed my humanity, that's why Seraph likes being around me, why I can act normal around people, why I blend in, looks aside."
Then he went on about how War would kill everyone she cared about, and that she didn't have what it takes to take him down. "That's not going to happen." she said flatly, starting to tune him out more and more, "and maybe I do, maybe I don't, we won't know till I try." she said as she went to stab him again, but he caught the knife this time. The more she heard him, the more delusional he sounded, or that he was trying to make himself think all the crap that came from his mouth was true. After he bent the blade, she managed to yank it out of his hand, and seeing it useless tossed it under the bed.
"Nothing is impossible" Rebecca said, starting to really feel some of the hit's she had taken. "If you were a REAL horseman, you'd understand that." She said still managing a laugh. "Honestly, your psycho bable is getting boring, I've seen school girls better able to break someones will and self-esteem." She was sort of hoping War would come back, maybe help her out, but either way she wasn't going down without a fight. "You act all smug and pompous, why is that, compensating for something?" she said, keeping herself braced. At the very least, she could get some satisfaction out of the insults, not that they seemed to have that much of an effect.

"Your Right" Chaos said. "You sacrificed your humanity Mars. I've learned what you've done, no matter why you do it, those action change us. Do you still hunger for it Mars?" He asked as his demeanor changed to a stalking predator.
He reached behind his back and withdrew a silver knife. It was a perfect mirror as it caught what little light was available in the room. "How much can you bleed before your in danger?" The smile he wore was just cruel and sadistic at this point. Now his mannerisms were in line with what he was doing. "I know what human limits are, I've been very through in my past." His stance spoke of his mastery of knife fighting. His style wasn't traditional, some form of street fighting, but it was still just as deadly.
He rushed forward letting loose a volley of attacks aiming for joints and superficial wounds that cause the maximum amount of pain. It was clear that he was trying to debilitate, rather then kill. "I can always settle for just breaking your body. Oh yes I can be quite through with that as well." He said as he licked his lips.

"I'm still not sure why you insist on calling me that, but no, I'm sick of fighting, it's all I've ever really known." she said as he pulled the knife out. "As for my limits, why would I tell you that, I'm not a fool." she replied, as she observed his stance. It wasn't practical in her opinion, but the way he held the knife and all, she didn't doubt he knew what he was doing. She only had one other option left, but she didn't want to tap into that. That was a secret, and also meant probably giving this man what he wanted.
But something wasn't adding up, he could have probably taken her down already, but he didn't go for kill shots. Even as he attacked again, he was clearly not going for the kill. Something didn't sit right with this. He may have been a sadist, but this seemed more like an agenda. Now she was just trying to figure out what it could be. She wasn't quite as fast as before, so she took some hits to her midsection and arms, but she ignored the pain. She didn't want him having that satisfaction as she laughed and stumbled back. "Go ahead, give it your best shot I've had worse." she said, "You said I'd never find a way to kill you and that I lacked what it took, Same goes for you trying to break my will apparently." she added laughing. She had been in bad shape before plenty of times, hell that was how she met one of her girlfriends, and his mind games he had over played them. But at this point, it really was getting harder and harder to fight back. He was inflicting more damage then she was, and it was slowly taking it's toll on her strength and energy.

Music to my ears." He said with a cruel smile. "I love when their defiant. But we've barely begun. I haven't even tried yet. Of course your own training is hindering you here. You still stand in combat with me, a normal human would have run for the door by now." He held out his hand and a portal of darkness bloomed before the door. "Of course I can't go giving you ideas."
He began to lazily circle around her, appearing to give openings, of course they were bluffs. He was always fond of bluffing a weakness, forcing his foe to try to seize it, thinking it would save them. She thought only his words were being used against her, but his every action was designed to drain her will as much as her physical reserves.
"I call you Mars, because Rebecca sounds boring. I don't want to speak to her. I want Mars to talk back, I bet she can throw in a good verbal jab, unlike yourself. See your too nice, a facade to hide the real women you are, the one you fear, the one who stares back at you anytime you look in a mirror." He said, punctuating his sentences with attacks.
"I want to speak to the women who thinks she can tame War, not the one who wants to spoon with Seraph."
