"Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pire's life for me," murmured Jack with slurred speech as he threw back a shot of rum. "Gragh," Jack moaned, "more rum 'tender. A bottle this time." Why did he start with a shot, a bottle is always the better way to a euphoric stupor. After getting betrayed by his previous crew Jack was feeling somewhat depressed. His beautiful Black Pearl had been taken by his own crew mate Hector Barbossa. Originally Jack came back to Tortuga to look for a new crew to sail with him, but got kind of distracted by the shenanigans at the bar.
Jack finished his sixth bottle of rum when some burly, sweaty guy came up to him. Jack had no clue what this guy was going on about. "Listen mate, do you know who I am?" Jack antagonized the man by poking his chest, "CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow! Now, be my pillow." Jack rested his head against the unknown man, a few seconds later he found himself suspended in the air. Jack looked down on the man and chuckled accompanied by poking the man's nose shortly before passing out again. When he woke up he found himself in a mud pit with the company of pigs. Jack had a headache, probably from a hangover and the possibility of being beaten by the guys at the bar. He rubbed his face only to feel a stinging sensation, he looked down at the mixture of blood and mud on his hand. "Oh bugger," Jack said as he fell back to sleep in the mud pit.

Conquest to the lover, And your love to the fire, Permanence unfolding in the absolute.

There were somethings Axel never missed about being a human, and this place reminded him of that immensely. He wanted a shower just having to be here. He didn't know why he was even sent here, he had seen no heartless, and he wasn't exaclty able to blend in, maybe Xigbar or someone of the sort would have been so lucky, but not him. No with his bright red hair and very pale skin. It was obvious he never went outside, or never took his hood off if he did. Though the tattoos on his face seemed more or less normal, if anything could have been normal here.
He sighed, and decided that maybe this was a decent enough time to look for "friends" involving his own agenda; though the fact everyone here was either a whore or a scalawag put a damper on their relationship from the get go. He sighed, and he looked as he saw movement from a pen he figured to be all animals. But, upon further investigation, he saw there was actually a drunk man passed out in there. He rolled his eyes, such high class citizens in this joint. He prodded the man with his foot, and not nearly as lightly as he could; but he didn't all out kick the man either. "Come on, get up." He mumbled, still prodding the drunk. [/blockquote] ------------------------------------------- Forgivness is The ultimate sacrifice. Eloquence belongs, To the conqueror.

Jack rolled over in the cool mud. He felt a strange prodding in his back and said, "Not now mum, the kraken just made it to tea." Jack looked up at the fiery red haired man in the surprisingly stylish. Jack, aware of the strange thing he just said sat up very quickly and tried something a little more manly instead, "Er, I mean, the ladies just arrived. We wouldn't want to kick 'em out so soon, yeah?" Jack stood up and wiped the mud from his clothes and shook it out of his hair. Jack extended his muddy hand toward the red head , "I like the cut o' your jib, care to join me crew? Granted I may not have the best ship that ever sailed these seas. Name's Captain Jack Sparrow, the pleasure is all yours."

As the drunk croaked something towards him, he raised a fiery eyebrow. He kicked him again, and he wasn't sure what this world was full of...but he sort of liked it. He spoke, "I'm not your "mum" and I am not sure what a kraken is, but I wouldn't want tea with it."
Axel stared down at the man as he stared back up at him. He smirked lightly, and he watched the man mumble something else nonsense again before he stood. He chose not to answer him, and he watched as he stood. He looked at the man as he brushed himself off. Jack Sparrow, and the pleasure was his? He didn't know what it was about him, but he liked this guy. "I guess the pleasure is mine; name's Axel. Not much for sea legs myself, but I guess there's a first time for everything. " He said lightly, taking the man's muddy hand.

Jack looked the man in the eyes as they shook hands; there was something about Axel's eyes that just seemed empty. Jack didn't trust this guy completely, but then again he was a pirate, trustworthy people were particularly rare to come by in his line of work. Even though he wiped as much mud he could off he was still covered in it. Jack hopped the fence of the pig pen, indifferent to Axel's being there and took off his shirt. He washed the mud off of his hands and body in the pig's watering trough, followed by submerging his head into the murky water.
His head came out clean, odd enough. Jack walked over to a small box shaped container in the corner of the pen. He opened the box and pulled out a fresh pair of clothes, "I tend to wind up in this pit usually, almost like another home really." After adjusting his hat and holstering his pistol, he was cleaned up and ready to go. He propped his leg up on the container and said, "Charming guy aren't I?" As he shifted his pose the container keeping his balance tipped causing Jack to trip and stagger around a bit but he caught himself. "Eh, so shall we get on with business then? I've some people and things to pick up." Jack asked Axel as he stood in the door leading to town.

Axel didn't know what to make of this place, this man or anything else. He knew he didn't mind the place itself, but he could do without the smell of the swine right around him. As the man let go of his hand, he watched him hop the fence. He watched the man's rear as he did, and he smiled lightly to himself, and his smile growing wider as the man ripped his shirt off. He wiped the smirk off his face before the man could see it. He liked this man more and more every second, now he was just dripping wet for all to see, and Axel was part of that all, and he was glad he was!
Axel smirked as the man spoke. He could get used to being around this card. "Whatever works for you." He spoke in return. At least this man had some form of make shift home. He watched the man move about with a weird form of grace, and he looked him over as he spoke, "I would say so." He gave him a slow look over from the tips of his shoes, to his legs, lingering in his middle and going up still. He then nodded as the man said they should be off. For some reason Jack felt uncomfortable as Axel checked him out. Jack stroked his chin and said, "Er, shall we proceed then?" Jack went back to the bar he was at the previous night and kicked a sleeping drunk man that was laying by the front door. "Get up Gibbs, we've some sailing to do. Grab the crew and report back here when you've completed the preparations." The drunkard got up and staggered off mumbling something.
Jack looked back at Axel and said, "S'my First Mate Gibbs. Good guy really." Jack went back into the bar and ordered two bottles of rum. "Can never have too much. I'd like for you t' bend over and take it up the tail pipe, love," he said enthusiastically as he put the other bottle into his pocket.

Axel could tell he made the man uncomfortable. He didn't care. He felt no feelings of remorse for the looks he gave the man. He felt no remorse about anything. The thought made him cackle on the inside. He made to follow the man, following closer then he needed to. He knew it'd bother the man, but the man couldn't do anything to him, he knew that for the fact.
Axel nodded as he looked back towards the man. He seemed a decent man, for a pirate. He did have a bit of a smell though. Axel wrinkled his nose, and he looked as Jack ordered some alcohol. It'd been a long time since he'd had any of that...probably best for the Pirate if he didn't have any. He then nodded as he mentioned not ever having enough. His eyebrows shot up at the next comment. "Me take it? No no, it'd be you taking it, Captain." He purred, leaning towards the Pirate.

Jack eyeballed the man from the corner of his eye as he drank his bottle of rum. Striking facial features, a nice athletic build, and quite a fashionable coat. Jack wouldn't mind wearing that coat as he sailed the seas. He would strike fear into all, yet they'd be taken in by his unrefined grace. Jack was liking the idea of this.
Jack raised his eyebrow to the lad, "I'll be takin' ya up on that offer. How about after this last bottle, me and you find a quiet place. Me skull and crossbones arn't the only thing I plan on raising tonight," said Jack, still sober for the most part. He pointed to the door saying, "I know a really good place, I could even get a shower there to smell... just peacy." Jack smiled showing of his gold and silver teeth.
