Ame had been out most of the day, trying to get the waves of heartless that were coming up her favorite walk way. She huffed as she knocked some sergeants back to their maker. She swung her mace over her shoulder, sighing lightly.
"You guys are really putting a damper on my day, you know."
[/color] She looked down at a rouge Shadow who slithered beneath her. She dropped to a rock, letting her fingers mingle with the small hand of the shadow. The little thing seemed lost, and meant no harm. She felt it grab her hand, and it crawl into her lap. She pursed her lips, and she heard something behind her. She stood, grabbing her mace in one hand, and carrying the shadow with her. She then came face to face with someone she'd met before."Sora?!"[/b] She cried happily, bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet.

Hollow Bastion had been his first 'official' stop after visiting Master Yen Sid and the Good fairies. Sora had woken up in a strange pod-room in Twilight Town after having been asleep for, apparently, a year only to discover that he had outgrown his clothing and needed a new, more fitting, outfit for this new adventure. The 15 year old Keyblade Master stolled through the Marketplace, taking out any Heartless or Nobody that dared to appear in his path. His Oathkeeper rested on his shoulder in a casual fashion, deep sapphire eyes scanning the surroundings for anymore of the offending creatures. He spotted a few and rushed to take them out, only to see the last of the group of them being taken out--disappearing in to whisps of darkness.
He faltered, stumbling over his own shoes when he heard his name being uttered. Sora should have been used to it by now, everyone knew who he was.
Sora tilted his head to the side and grinned enthusiastically, "Ame? What're you doing here?" He jogged closer to her.

Ame smiled as he remembered her. It made her heart skip a little bit. The little thing in her arm made a small clicking noise and she looked down at it. It looked back up at her, and it climbed up her arm. She tensed for a second, thinking what it could be doing, but it stopped once it crawled onto her head. She could see its arm dangling by her good eye, and she rolled her eyes. She then realized Sora had asked her something, she smiled, "I relocated with Leon and everyone else." She thought of Leon like a brother, and was thankful for the rest of the group just as much.
As he jogged towards her, she ran to meet him half way. She dropped her mace, and could hear the little thing on her head squawking as she took off. She jumped on him, grabbing him around his neck. She squeezed him tightly placing her face into his neck, "I missed you!" She said happily.
She'd forgotton how good the boy smelt, despite being out fighting heartless all day. And she could remember the little crush she'd had on him last time they met, but that was ages ago, she'd forgotten all that, right? Sure...that's why her heart was pounding in her ears.

Sora nodded his head, that made sense. When he had met her the first time in Traverse Town, right after her world had been destroyed (and subsequently his too) she had been staying with Aerith. So it was only logical that she'd end up traveling with Aerith and the gang when they stationed themselves in Hollow Bastion. He smiled but was taken by surprise when she latched herself around his neck tightly. Awkwardly he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and returned the hug. "I missed you too, Ame."
His eyes narrowed in on the little Shadow that clung desperately to her and he brought his Oathkeeper level with the little creature's face. Sora's expression became serious, "Hold still! There's a Heartless on you, I'll get it! Don't move!"

She smiled into his neck, being happy that he returned her hug, even if he wasn't as forward about it as she was. She was a bit more straightforward then most people, it sometimes bothered people, but he didn't seem to mind. She blushed lightly as he said he'd missed her too. Had he really, or was he just saying that? Oh well, didn't matter to her, she counted it as being real enough.
Before she could respond she could feel his arm raise towards her head. She froze. The thing on her head. It was a heartless. It hadn't hurt her at this point, she had known it was a heartless. She told it it was ruining her day, though in truth if they hadn't starting causing trouble, she may not have seen Sora, so it was really a good thing. "He's not hurting anything, he would have hurt me if he were going to by now, he had plenty of chances." She said, resting her head on his shoulder, looking up at him with a smile.

Sora eyed her strangely. He'd never heard of someone making friends with a heartless, it was a completely foreign thought to him. They were dangerous creatures who only knew what instinct told them to do; steal the hearts of innocent people. He lowered his keyblade but not by much, still keeping his gaze trained on the beady eyed Shadow resting atop his friend's head.
"Ame, maybe you don't realize how dangerous that little guy is but you really should be carrying it around like a puppy. Maybe he hasn't hurt you now, but it's bound to happen, and I can't let it happen." He frowned.
He felt his cheeks heat up from the feeling of her face resting on his shoulder. Sora felt a little awkward, like a dog who spent years chasing after cars and had finally caught one; he didn't know what to do.

She smiled as he looked at her like she was mental. She tried to see the best in things, even if it were just a little thing. At sometime, it were a normal person right? Isn't that how it worked? "It was a living thing at some point, right? That's how that works?" She chewed her lip, her face cocked lightly to the side.
She pursed her lips, "I..can't argue with that...but I feel bad about killing them now that I think of them as living things." She looked down lightly, but she could see his face heat up lightly, she furrowed her brow, "Are you okay? You seem a little flushed." She brought her hand up to his face, he did feel a bit warm.

Sora sighed, crossing his arms over his chest and gently pushing her off of him. It wasn't as if he didn't like being hugged, it just made him a little uncomfortable since she was a girl and he had no experience whatsoever in that department. Sure, he could take on 1000s of Heartless and villains, but bring in one girl and he was at a loss for action. His lips twitched in to a small smile, he couldn't help it she was so light and innocent. So was he, but he didn't see the Heartless in that light, they were nuisances that needed to be destroyed before they hurt anymore innocent people. As the Keyblade Master it was Sora's job to protect those people so he couldn't afford to see what little good there may be still lingering in the dark creatures.
"Well, yeah but...they don't remember what it was like to be a human. They act purely on instinct." He frowned, running a hand through his messily spiked hair,"It's good that you can see the good in everything but you need to also stay wary of Heartless and Nobodies."
Enough of being serious. He bounced on the balls of his heels and grinned brightly.
"So, how do you like Hollow Bastion so far, hm?"

She stepped back as the hold was broken. She missed the warmth, but it made no difference, it's not like he was going anywhere. As they broke apart, she could hear the Shadow scurry back to her shoulder. He was sitting on the side of her face she couldn't see, so she grabbed it under the arms, and put it on her other shoulder, "Stay where I can see you." She told it, not that it could understand. She looked back to Sora as he spoke, she nodded, that did make sense...but, they were still alive sometime..but that didn't mean she'd stop killing them...she was just taking pity on this one.
"I gotcha, I won't stop killing them, I just don't want to lose this one for some reason...I don't understand me." She said sunnily, pursing her lips as she tried to think what was so special about this little heartless. She'd heard of Heartless before..what were nobodies? "Whatsa Nobody?" She asked lightly.
She smiled at the topic change, she shrugged, "I don't hate it, I prefer when these things aren't crawling out of everywhere, but as long as I have my friends, I can be anywhere and be happy."

Sora found himself still staring warily at the tiny Shadow Heartless that had taken a liking to his friend. In his mind he imagined the tiny pureblood Heartless having a hidden agenda for befriending the girl, there was no way that he'd ever trust a Heartless so he'd keep his eye on it to make sure it didn't pull any funny business. A sense of sympathetic sadness momentarily overwhelmed him when she mentioned to the stupid creature that it needed to stay in her line of sight, Sora never voiced his sympathies outloud but he'd always felt bad about her being partly blind. He knew that she was a strong girl and that she never let her disability get in the way of anything, infact, it may have even made her stronger. But he still felt bad.
"Nobodies? I would've figured that the others had clued you in." It was true, she was living with some of the best fighters around who lived to protect their home from the likes of Heartless and Nobodies, though he supposed that Hollow Bastion may not have had a giant Nobody population like it had with Heartless. Smiling he made his Oathkeeper disappear, gesturing wide with his arms as he spoke, "When a person's heart is devoured by darkness they turn into a Heartless, well, when that happens they leave behind the empty shell of the person that they once were. And that empty shell is able to act and move on its own; a Nobody. There are different kinds though..." He frowned, stroking his chin in thought before continuing, "Much like there are different kinds of Heartless, same goes for Nobodies. There's the small ones that work on instinct, like Heartless do, and then there are the ones who were made from someone with a strong heart, those ones retain their body and look and act like regular humans--but they don't have hearts so they can't feel emotion. Those are the ones you need to watch out for." He warned, it was almost comical seeing the way he nodded his head, his face showing nothing short of his seriousness.

She couldn't tell he was feeling sorry for her, but she was sure a lot of people did; but she didn't care. She didn't feel sorry for her, it was just an eye. Didn't make any difference to her. Sure she couldn't get another one, but it's not like it was gone, she still looked normal, so it made no difference to her.
She shook her head as he said he figured someone would have clued her in. She felt like she was out of the loop, but sometimes she just had selective hearing and made herself out of the loop. She rocked back and forth lightly, her ADHD tendencies getting the better of her. She watched his keyblade disappear, and she looked at his hands as he spoke. They were huge! (Couldn't resist xD) She wondered if that meant something else was as well, you know what they said about guys with big hands. She listened as he spoke, the Darkness really sucked ass, destroying lives like it did.
She nodded, "The Darkness is a real buzz kill." She mused. She hated the idea of the loss of life, it wasn't fair, especially when the people the darkness took over had no say so in their departure.

Sora nodded his head in agreement, the mess of spikes on his head bobbing with the motion of his head. Darkness had indeed ruined the lives of many people and it wasn't fair, so many innocent lives had been lost to its clutches.
A small smile twisted at the corners of his lips before becoming a full blown grin, he latched on to her wrist and bounced excitedly, "Hey! Come this way I wanna show you something cool!" He dragged her all over the market place before pulling her to a stop at the very top of the stairways where they could oversee the entire marketplace and even a greater portion of the city. The sun was just beginning to set, painting the blank canvas of the sky a medley of oranges, pinks, purples and blues.

She felt herself smile lightly as he did, she didn't know what he was planning, but he smiled and ran off. She cocked her head to the side, and listened as he spoke. She smiled wider, and ran off after him. She doubled back to pick up her mace, and she then ran off after him for real this time. She could hear the thing on her head making rather startled noises, and she spoke lightly, "Let go if running bothers you." But, despite sounding bothered, the little thing held on.
She kept running, his stamina making her hurt. She knew her mace was dragging her down, but she didn't care. She followed regardless. She dragged it up the stairs iwth her, and she tried to stop as she got closer. She brought on of her arms too close to her leg, and her shoe caught on the handle of her large weapon. She screamed lightly, lurching forward; straight into the stopped Sora. Her weapon fell to the ground behind her, and the Shadow held onto her face.
This just wasn't her day for keeping a distance. She landed right on the boy, and she looked down lightly, her chest being right on his face. "Oops." She said lightly, looking down, I didn't hurt you did I?'

Oblivious as always, Sora didn't even realize that she was having trouble keeping up with him, not to mention that she was being weighed down by her heavy weapon. Sora sometimes didn't realize little things like that and often forgot that he was a lot stronger and faster than most people due to his experience in battle and always having to rush around to save people. Sora certainly didn't look it, being a tiny thing, but he was exceedingly strong especially in his forearms from swinging around that heavy Keyblade.
Sora yelped in a rather girlish fashion as he was taken completely off guard by the girl toppling over and ontop of him. Had she..er...grown since the last he'd seen her? Something about her seemed to be bigger than he last remembered. Not that he had been staring before...and not that he was now either it was just--it was hard not to notice when they were practically suffocating him!
"Er...I..I'm okay..." His voice was muffled by her breasts that were strategically placed over his face, "You, uh, you okay...?"
It was hard to concentrate!

Ame hated being so clumsy sometimes. Sora had just been trying to show her something, and she had to go and ruin it and just land on him! She hated it when she did things like this. She hadn't always been this bad, her depth perception wasn't what it had always been with the loss of her eye. She looked down as he spoke and she smiled, she nodded. "Good..sorry about that. Just couldn't stop, I'm fine." She laughed lightly.
She couldn't seem to keep her hands to herself today. She seemed to be more comfortable invading Sora's personal space then being in her own. She looked down lightly and she realized she still had some of her...assests on him. "Oh! Oops!" she cried, sitting up. She seated herself in what she deemed to be a more suitable place, though she rubbed across his crotch now.
"I can't seem to do anything right today." She mused lightly, shifting her hips once again.
